  1. So just to use the D scimmy I don't? Thanks.
  2. For monkey madness are you required to recieve the bonus experience from the quest?
  3. One of my level 3 coordinates tells me to go to Tyrannwn, but I can't seem to find my way in. Is there a way to go, or a quest I have to do? Thanks.
  4. This just kind of makes me mad. I'm doing dragon slayer on my tank, so I need 3 planks, which I get from hill giants in wilderness... However, three times in a row an entire clan of people has teamed me and called me a "Noob" no matter how many times I tell them to leave me alone bc I'm doing a quest. But what really bothers me is the same people, if you choose to fight back, will flame you and call you a "3 item noob". If you make the choice to attack a 3 itemer who's trying to a quest it's your fault if they fight back... It just bothers me how trigger-happy these people are. edit: 5 times in a row -.-
  5. I went to the rants and saw a lot about the new ditch...I'm sort of looking for a more rational side of the community's view... This may be dumb but I'm gonna make a pro vs. con list about the ditch, adding as you do... Pro: Lures have very little affect now. Cons: Less wilderness (Notably less lvl 1 space.) Takes away from the charm of the deathground  It won't get better unless I get help...
  6. I think runescape should save settings as you log off with them. Although this affects non-pkers more, it is still valid. When you log back in, all your settings but music and the like are set to normal - most noticably attack style. It is pretty easy to turn the option when you log in, but when you log in near agressive creatures with auto-retal on, you unavoidably gain some unwanted experience. It wouldn't take much memory and wouldn't be too hard to do, and is honestly a valid concern...
  7. People who 3-1 and say you are "safing" when they can easily kill you from full hp.... that or people who, when 3-1ing you, eat at above half and when you die or tele or run say "Owned nub lol!" when they're worse than you.
  8. How many tokens should I get if I want to be able to get a rune defender without gathering again starting from none... Stats are 70 atk 71 str 59 def... And what's the best spot for tolkening... Thanks...
  9. But whoever did the most damage would get the kill and see it first; just the person who killed would see it before others...this is because a lot of the time the person who got the kill has logged out or is in bank and won't find the pile by the time it shows up. It isn't to make the wild based on who gets the kill, just to support them more.hh
  10. I'm not saying you should get the pile first, but you should get it before the people who did no work at all... And for the second one it's just that in single wild everyone waits for the pile to come up and people with higher cb have to right click to get the pile while lowers just left click...
  11. Looters, the scum of the wild. A lot of people who haven't been looted before may laugh it off, but these people are so annoying that it makes me scream. Today I was on my new pure, and I need money because I don't account trade. A range-2hander asked me to fight, and I declined politely because they scare me. He attacked me and about 8 lobs later (This was the last inventory I had) I ko'd him with a 14. I look down, happy that I could pk some more before I killed giants to get money for lobs, and saw that there was no pile, nor kill message. A lvl 32 and a 93 run up and congratulate me on the kill, and I ask if they want food (It's my trick so they don't stand on the pile so I can loot it easily). The 93 starts to trade but the 32 stands on the pile. The loot popped up and for all my work all I got was a strength potion(2) out of a pile of a rune 2h, dhide chaps and vambs, str ammy, and addy arrows. This is a very annoying fluke in the combat system, where the person that gets the KO doesn't get the kill - It's very understandable against creatures and is useful in the wilderness when you get pjed, but it stinks when you invest effort into killing someone and get no reward. I came up with two problems and fixes: The main problem - if you KO but it's not your kill, it shows up at the same time for you as for everyone else. Suggestion - I think that the person who gets the kill should see the pile first, but then it only takes half the time for the KO'er to see it as the rest of the people... example: (X is the normal time for piles to pop up for everyone) Person was in fighting a rune pure, who left, and gets killed by someone else. The person who hit the most damage would see it immediately, and 1/2x later the Ko'er would see it, and then x after the kill everyone could see it. Also, a little problem is that the lvl 3s and lower levels don't have the option to attack you as their first. So a higher level has to right click, but a lower lvl can just click on the pile and almost guaranteed get the most valuable item (I think that's how the lower-vs higher attack option works). Solution: In wild attack should be the first option. I think this would get rid of a lot of pking headaches and also get rid of the small generation of rich but lazy looters... Thanks...
  12. What's the best thing to merchant with 2.4m? Just wondering, thanks... Trav
  13. I support, but with a minor suggestion. It would be a huge amount of programming and invasive to your computer to show loot. However, perhaps it should show your last dmg hit prior to the ko - in other words what you hit for the KO.
  14. I don't know if this is a bug, but it is very annoying... When I am training a pure of mine in giants, there is a lot of competition at the spawns, obviously: It is a great amount of money for the food you use. Since the giants are agressive, they often whack at you quickly after they spawn. However, this does not count as being in combat: if another player whacks the giant before you do (Note that you are doing the flinch movement so unless you atk at the same time you can't atk it for a sec), they get to fight it. So the giant can hit a four on you (Half of a trout...) but someone else gets it. I think this should be fixed so that it takes a second after the creature spawns to attack, and in this time everyone can attack it: but as soon as the creature attacks a player it becomes 'their' giant. This way it wouldn't be unfair to higher levels or people who have been their long enough that the giants don't attack, but if it did attack you you would be in combat with them. Perhaps we could also fix this so that someone can't deal damage on you and then be pjed (Rangemage, cough) in the wild, which is a related problem. Opinions, suggestions?
  15. So, does anyone support or is this all just artwork? #-o
  16. Thanks for all the work, guys, but jeez, it's only been like a day :-P. Do you mind if I put your work in my post?
  17. Going to have some fun in f2p single wild... You look at your skills, and see the shiny new 67 range you got, and decide to try it out in PVP. You go in with just a bow, and get ridiculed for your lack of armour and skills in general. Well, you'll show those upstart pures! Let's pull some of the good ol' rune out of the bank, that'll show their 40 attack! Hmm, let's see...maple shortbow...rune med helm, chain mail, power ammy, and, sadly, it appears there are only plate legs to go with it... Ah well, you don the armour. Before you head out, you check your bonuses... 136 Stab - well that doesn't matter, they'll be slashing. 144 Slash - ...haha! Loser pures! Just to check, you look at your range attack bonus. 31. Not bad, but Isn't ranged supposed to be like super-accurate? Ah well... This can even happen when you go out to train. But the point is that metal armour offers a negative bonus to range, which discourages its use. And while in the best armour for range there is only a -8 Bonus, in training and pking 'deathmatches' it can add up. Although it is common to wear the dragonhide pants, they only provide 22/16/24 in defense, so you can't quite be a true "tank". I think it would be cool to create a new style of armour known as a "Chainskirt", that would look something like this: (Credit to Boris5000 and Surgudi!) Normal: Dragon...?: (T): (G): Then Gilded: And The Gods: It would be available in all metals, though I'm not sure about dragon. I know that -8 Isn't too big of an issue, but this is important to me :| Alright, thanks boris and surgudi. They made a post based off of this when i did not change my post for a full day, so their link is Here Stats: Original by the same two. 18. Normally my computer is very fast, but lately i've been lagging pretty badly. I'm just wondering how to fix it. I have been deleting cookies and temp. files, does that have anything to do with it?
  19. It depends how much your time is worth. Cannons are a heck of a lot faster than arrows, but arrows are much cheaper. But if the time that it saves you to use the cannon could be used to make back money you use (You should know how much your time is worth), go ahead. I think you hit less often with a lower range level, though.
  20. I remember I did 12k willows for fletching, It took me about 1 hour per k when I did it paying lots of attention, but in actuality it took me about 15 hours for 12k just because I got distracted, took breaks, etc.
  21. The Guy telling you your points is just to stop people from getting it the boat too fast, I think, and it's an adventure game - like the guy is happy you beat the nasty pink elephants. I disagree with spend-all, but I think what would be better would be a spend-x button, without any special bonus xp like 100 has. That way when it's 3k from a level you don't want to get too much xp in you could just spend-x it.
  22. Yews cost around 300 each, nats 300 each, bs 100 each. 700 Gp.
