January 25, 200719 yr DOOM 2 Do you guys like it or have you ever played it? Pretty oldschool, I know, but I've been working through the missions lately and rekon it's awesome. Theres only one problem I have with it; I downloaded the game and can't seem to get the sound to work properly. Maybee my soundcard isn't compatible.. dunno.

January 25, 200719 yr Oh my god. I love doom. I used to play that so much, was so good. No cheats, could beat the game in 3 hours. It was soooo fun. :D My Farewell thread. Please post nicely, or die. :^_^:Yea, I'd vote for him too. But I don't think they let Iraqis vote :P

January 25, 200719 yr Brilliant game. Love all of the series actually. As for your sound problem, because the sound on Doom is pretty primative, and I take you're running on Windows XP, I'd say your PC just doesn't accommodate for it anymore. There should be a patch or instructions somewhere to download on the web though, the game has a massive fanbase. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

January 26, 200719 yr I loved Doom II (the whole series really).' How the heck do you actualy defeat the last boss in the game? I never for the life of me figured it out.. always had to go to god mode/no clipping and run into his head. :lol:

You are supposed to shoot rockets into the exposed brain by going on that little platform thing. The rockets give splash damage to the head on a steak inside the 'brain.' I remember doing god mode and no clipping on that level and just wasting all those monsters hardcore.

May 16, 200719 yr that game was pointless... You can't be serrious, can you? Kids these days. :-s He also decided to bump up a four month old thread to say it. I've reported about 5 other of his bumps, just got tired of doing it.
May 20, 200719 yr Author that game was pointless... Heh, ok. I've fixed the problem I had with the game by the way. I've now finished doom 1, 2, the ultimate doom add-on to doom 1, the first wad file on final doom and have around 3 more levels to finish on the second wad file. =P~
