This theory suggests that a code is in the Bible and it predicted many things. Interpret it how you want, I, personally dont know what I believe...

I'm personally a Christian, and have nothing to do with Kabbalah, nor really know much about their religion, but they have the best example (flash) of these codes, so I'm using their site, these codes really have nothing to do with their religion, their just using it to advertise their religion because of...idk...

This code "predicted" (keep in mind, the bible was made 3000+ years ago):

The Holocaust

9/11

The War On Iraq

Various bombings

The washington snipers

and also "predicts" the world's end in 2012 by asteriod or nuclear war...The Mayans also said that the world would end (more specifically) on Dec 12, 2012. And of course, back in 2012, I dont believe the Middle East had communications with the Americas...

gah, I dont know, just watch the video and share your opinions!

wow, crazymadnastyness. thats cool, i see where its coming from, but i REALLY hope that the world doesnt blow up in 2012 :ohnoes:

Say what you mean and mean what you say because those that matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter.

I think half the time they create a new translation for the sole purpose of arranging the words so they can make a code out of it :P

EDIT: Oops I didn't read that little part that said what I just said.

Anyway, It's the same thing as the Nostradamus predicting WWII and 9/11. He just said something and it's interpreted as something else.

122 Combat : 99 Hits : 99 Attack : 99 Strength

97/99 Defence : 99 Fletching : 99 Woodcutting

If it predicted them, why didn't it get publicised and the disasters averted?

Answer: because it didn't.

fractalsignature2lq4.jpg

Well, I'm glad the events refer specifically to the era of the 19th and 20th and 21st century. I guess that all those other wars fought in the AD 0-900's and AD 1000's-1700's are not important. Least we forget the BC periods that occurred after the Biblical time. I mean, most of these events were only 10 times worse than most events happening today.

Besides, it's called a coincidence. I could also find "Viktorkrum77 is the next prophet" if I wanted to. And they didn't even bother explaining where in the verses they were found, or showing it.

And then what Insane said:

I think half the time they create a new translation for the sole purpose of arranging the words so they can make a code out of it :P

The Bible has been translated too many times for those sorts of codes to stay intact.

I think they need to stop crap like that. Pretty soon we're going to be decoding milk cartons..

"OMG! My milk carton says the world is going to end in 150 days!!"

"Where does it say that!?"

"Right there! See 'calories' easily trasnlates to 'end of world' and '150' must be the days left!"

Load of crap?

Pretty much..

Keep in mind, all of these were found in the origional translations of the bible, all of this was decoded in hebrew and then translated to English, you cant go home to your bible and decode your English version for the reason you stated, words arn't always spelled the same way.

Besides, if God could predict the future, than that means that everything we do, including me typing this right now, has been planned in advance.

And that goes against the Bible, which says we make our own decisions, and then God forgives our sins which we committed ourself or with the work of the devil ie. temptation. So technically, God would be making us sin, and there would be nothing we could do about it if we followed the logic of future prediction.

See how messed up these publicity stunts are?

No way. Just because God knows what will happen doesn't mean He forced it to happen. Knowing != Causing.

If we our in control of our own decisions and destinies, and they can change constantly, than it would make no sense that he would be able to see it. Considering the future is never set in stone, and we have control over it, and he gave us that ability.

Yea, that can be a separate debate in itself, if God is perfect, doesn't that mean he knows the future? But he said we have free will...anyway...lets try to stay on topic ;)

Nostradamus precited a lot of things, too. Anyone can throw a bunch of things at the wall and see what sticks.

Before this gets out of hand...

FAKE!

The flaw is that it "predicts" when the world will end. According to Christ, the "day and hour is unknown, even to the Son."

Only God knows when he will destroy the world. In fact, it can even be assumed that He has not set the date. After all, it is His Wrath. It's whenever He gets pissed off enough.

This doesn't nessarily correspond to the teachings of the bible...let that be noted aswell... ;)

Can you please explain to me why the God of the universe would end the world on 12/12/2012? Is god so below us that he uses our number coincidence to tell us when the world will end? Do you really think

a.) if there is a god you would be able to figure out when the world would end.

b.) if there is not a god you would be able to figure out when the world would end?

Whats with today's society thinking they are above God?

If you follow this theory, than yeah, I agree that God will choose the day when he sees fit. And will give us a few warnings to test humanity as a whole.

Of course, I don't believe this, but if you do, this is a reasonable assumption.

I dont know, it's all based on your, personal beliefs.

The only reason I thought of this is because I saw a show on The History Channel, I would consider this source that doesn't work with easily decredited issues or events... :)

2 pages in > 40min, yes, there is a God \' :P

Mathew 24:36

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

To anyone who even reads the Bible, it's there in bolded red text! Christ Himself said it! It's undisputed fact that Christ said it.

Any Christian who dares to claim when the Earth will end is a FALSE PROPHET! Amusingly, Christ's warning about false teachers is like 4 verses after the above!

Uninformed Christians tick me off.

I was agreeing with you Barihawk. I don't think anyone will pick a day. I personally believe we have caused that day by what we have done, and nature will make it happen sometime.
