January 26, 200719 yr Hmm, my genre definitions are very blurred in metal, I just like all of it. Some gooduns are (they're bleeping it! :o) Goatw***e, Lamb of God, Amon Amarth, Crowbar, Parkway Drive. Thats about it that i can loosely stick in death... though I'm likely to get flamed for suggesting half of them may be by those more hardcore among us. First and only pixel thinger I made.
January 26, 200719 yr Cryptopsy Necrophagist Kataklysm Mindmare Morbid Angel Morfeus Hypocrisy Among others everyone has already mentioned.
January 27, 200719 yr I'd totally forgot about this one until it just randomly came on... Napalm Death
January 29, 200719 yr I'll do what I can The above mentioned bands are all great. Furthermore, moving into the COB vein, I obviously suggest them, and the lesser known Norther. Skyfire is good swedish death metal. Lastly, I highly recommend "Naildown" for any Bodom fans, really good up and coming band. Metal fans, check out my band!Still the King....
January 29, 200719 yr Death ... how could no one have named them? the genre is NAMED after them.... Sigs made by Runemetsa, Nuzza, Dark_Shadow, Kuroi and Me.liquid blobs attacking eachother American Anime... YAY!
February 1, 200719 yr Can't go wrong with In Flames/Children of Bodom (H) I don't think either could be classed as technically death metal, could they?
February 1, 200719 yr Can't go wrong with In Flames/Children of Bodom (H) I don't think either could be classed as technically death metal, could they? In flames (old) was Melodic death metal but not is more metalcore/"gothenburg" metal. CoB is simply power metal with harsh vocals.
