Due to the fact I would prefer xp over gp, I'm going to be buying coal for 190 gp each and iron for 90 gp each, then selling the steel bars for 550 gp each. January 31, 200719 yr Iron may be around 90-100 gp each and Coal can be easily bought in a crowded F2P Falador Market for 170-180 each. You'll also be able to sell Steel Bars 550ea in the same market without a problem :wink: Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

January 31, 200719 yr A good method is getting 1k iron and 2k coal. Then from there, you smelt all of them, then find someone (on forums) to trade for 50k+raw materials. A lot of people do this. You can sometimes find people who will either trade more for each bar or some people who trade extra raw material, but your way works fine : Also, if you have 48 smithing, you could make them into steel plates and high alch (55 magic) or sell. This is quite profitable... although I'm not sure if it's profitable if you don't mine your own stuff :-k ... idk...
