rocketron1
8-) Hello im rocketron1 and I have been thinking we need a genuine moneymaking guide through different skills that even the newbs could do. 1. Introduction 2. Money 3.High Stakes 4.Skillen 5. Work or no work 6.Conclusion 1. Hello new people to moneymaking. if you already dont know runescape revolves around money. surprised i hope not the only way to get what you want and when you want it is thats right money. 2. Tell me what you think of all those people selling rares. i know you wish you had those rares from so long ago. well im gonna give you ways to make money with alot of work and no work so whichever you choose go for it. 3. High skillers want to make more then a measley 9mill gp. lots of skillers with high lvl stats focus on the only goal in mind getting what they want. Many of them know secrets others dont and are determined to find them.Well here it is for you a almost complete money making guide for all you happy scapers. 4 We will start with the skills Combat Att/Str/Def/Range: These have one thing in common for money making. That would be killing. If you are a nonmember the perfect way to make money using these skills is to train them till you can kill hill giants. Then take thier big bones and sell them at 300 ea in world 1 varrock. For members the best way to use this skill if your a low level would be go to the dueling arena in alkarid. There you can stake other low levels. This also goes for high levels too but there are other way to make money which i will explain. For high levels out there with massive good skills check the besitary for some high lvl monsters like kalphite queen, dagganoths, chaos elemental and others to find the great drops that they have. if your not into the whole monster killing thing then check the mini games and see the barrows guide. Doing barrows many times helps you make a fair amount of cash for your combat skills. the brothers have a chance of dropping great armor that you can sell to other high players at a good price. Mage: i consider this a better moneymaking skill then the other combats. a good way to make money using your mage lvl is high alcing. lots of high players could be getting thier fletching or smithing up and what your goal is to convince them to let you do the alcing for a small percentage of thier profits thier getting. For a good trust trade them something of equal collaterial so you wont be scamming them and vice verca if your letting them do the alcing. Alcing can also help in terms of your own fletching and smithing. One way is to alc yews and mage longs. Check the special calcs and go under high alc to find some amazing things that you could high alc. Runecrafting: I would have to call this one of the best ways to make money. If your a low level runecrafter i dont suggest you take these tactics till lvl 35 and I highly suggest you mine your own essence instead of buying them. Ok on to the members. First off when you get to 35 its abyss time. Go to edgeville lvl 5 wilderness and talk to the mage of zamorak, and he will tell you to go to varrock. There he will explain the mini quest. After you complete his mini quest you will get a small pouch(HOLD ONTO YOUR POUCH IT IS VERY USEFUL) ok so now you can use the abyss. The best way to use the abyss to your advantage is to have glories or anceint magicks by your side for the most effective runecrafting. Runecraft chaos and sell at 120ea until you get to lvl 44. Congratualation your level 44 I shall be the first to welcome you to the jungle. This is where all the highest runecrafters could be. Runecrafting natures. First off if you havnt done the shilo village quest then this is going to be difficult. the only fast way of making money by runecrafting nature if you havent done shilo village is to runecraft thru the abyss. make sure you take all avaliable pouches and teleport to get you back to edgeville. Do this and sell at 300-330ea till you gain lvl 54 runecrafting. For all you runecrafters out there finally able to make laws it is also recommended to buy your ess form here on out. First of the best way to do this is thru the abyss if you dont want to do the quest and if you have anceint magicks you can sacrifice laws teleporting. Now you could make this your main moneymaker and sell at 300-350ea till you get to lvl 91, if you reach lvl 91 you made a new milestone that only few had actually accomplished. This is the best way to make money in runecrafting. Why is the best because you get double natures. =D> The fastest way to do this is thru the abyss now for full advantage bring all your pouches and teleporting spells so you can maximize your speed. Herblore: This is a great way to make money if you get your own herbs or if you buy unidentified herbs you can buy at 1k ea Check runescape forums for anti-scam plan. All I need to say for herblore is the best way is to get to making prayer pots that sell at 7k ea and eventually super sets that sell at random depends on buyer. Once your able to make these you can sell them to major pkers. pkers can never get enough super sets and prayer pots. Thieving: The best way for thieving is grey wolf furs especially for low levels. Steal wolf furs and sell them to fur trader in varrock for 120ea. Do this till u get to level 59 then you can steal bloods and sell them to players at 500-550ea. Also a great way for high lvls to make around 2m a day is sceptres+artifacts its around 23k per inventory Crafting: The best crafting is to combine this skill with your mage skill. get up to being able to do dragon bodys wheather green, blue, red,or black. Once your able to make these you can alc them into alot of cash check special calcs for prices. If you dont wanna take the time to get dragon hides, Another way is to make battlestaves and alc them. For all the low levels get your crafting to 15 then pick flax and make them into bowstrings, and sell to fletchers. Some good places where you can pick flax thats as closer then camolot is the flax patch in lyleta in elven lands. The requirememnts are regicide and roving elves. When you go to this patch you rarely see any people there Fletching: This is a great skill if you combine it with crafting and magic. For low levels if you wanna make a small profit then cut logs(normal, oak, willows) and fletch them till you get to yews. Sell all the unstrung bows it took you to the genral store for a small profit. Once your able to make yews cut yew logs, fletch them, string them, and finally alc them for a good profit of 780 ea. Once your able to do magic logs and longs repeat the same method as for yews and make a whopping 1500ea for longs. Mining: Mining is a good moneymaking skill if your high enough to mine coal. For low levels just mine and drop till your able to do coal( coal is lvl 30 mining). once your able to do coal mine that till you can enter the mining guild where you will find the largest assorted coal in runescape. mine these and sell at 100-150ea. All high smithers need coal so this is the best moneymaker till you get to rune. Once you have made it to rune, if you want to take a chance go mine rune in the wild but beware of pkers. If you dont wanna take the chance and you have done heros quest then go to the heros downstairs and theres rune ore and coal ore there for you to mine, but beware that there might be heavy competition since theres only 1 ore down there.Runite ore sells at 13kea. If you really want a wide selection of ore with no competition there is a mining place under the grand tree in gnome stronghold with the following ore. Iron,Addy,Gold,Mith,Coal, and Clay. for members that want coal fast without mining it where they can make money theres a shope in keldagrim just downstairs inside the blast furnace that wil sell you some Smithing: This is a great skill if you combine it with magic. mine and smith until your able to do addy then high alc all addy armor that you make.Do this until your able to smith rune. Once your able to smith this you can mine rune and smith it. once you have rune armor you can either alc it or sell it to players. The choice is yours. Check special calcs for prices on high alcing. another great way is to take a massive amounts of natures and a fire staff go to the blast furnace and smelt, smith, andalc till your hearts content. low levels can also mine or buy iron ore and smith them into knives and sell at 30-40gpea thats 200gp per bar. Fishing: This is a great skill to make money. Especially when u get to 40 and are able to fish lobster. theres a huge market for buying lobsters you can sell at 200-250ea so if your a nonmeber this is one way to make it. If your a member then fish these till your able to harppoon sharks. Once able to fish and cook sharks then sell at a good price of 1.1kea to pkers or player that like fight high lvl monsters. Woodcutting: Woodcutting can be one of the best moneymaking skills without really working to hard at it. For nonmembers woodcut till willows then woodcut willows till yews. Once able to cut yews. Do this and sell at good price of 300ea to make good money. For members woodcut yews till magics then woodcut magics for a big profit of 1k ea especially to firemakers and flethcers. a good place to cut magic trees is to go to a extra magic tree farm patch and grow one, then you can cut your magic tree and the magic tree next to it which is close to the bank in gnome stronghold. Farming: The real only good way to make money farming is to be able to farm raanars and sell at 6k ea. Other herbs that go with super sets then also sell to herblorist for a very good profit. 5. Time for the ways of making money without alot of work. The one say that everyone says is you cant make money without money. This is true in some cases, espeacially what im about to explain. Merchantising: One of the biggest way to make money in runescape. Go to a world with alot of people like world 1 varrock and you will see hundreds of merchants. For nonmembers get around 100k and go buy deaths from rune shops then going to world 1 and selling them at a good highprice of 300 gp then what you bought them for. For members do watchtower quest and mage of zamorak mini quest. after you have done those get around 1mill and teleport between yanille and edgeville, and buy bloods. after you have bought them all out of stock world hop and repeat you can also do this with some mini games like barrows or mage training arena. You could get around 1k bloods at 500-550ea every 10 mins. Then sell in world 1 varrock or sell on forums. Finally your Kingdom: this is one of the easiest ways to make money with no work. First you need to do fremminick trails, throne of miscellania, and royal trouble to get full advantage of making money from this. After you have done those, get 1.35mill and put all of it in your coffers.Put your flax bar full and maples half then just wait out 7 days. Make sure you return to your kingdom to keep your approval rating at 100 % everday. After 7 days you should have about 8700 flax which you can sell at 100 ea and 6300 maples that you can also sell at 100ea. Also some extras like seeds and birds nest. You can sell the seeds and rings found in birds nest, then sell the birds nest to herblorists for a little extra profit. Sell the flax, maples.and seeds and you have already over doubled your profit then what you started with( the most i made with this is 1.8mill in a week. Fill up your coffers back to 1.35mill and repeat. After about a month you should be able to afford guthans. If you would like to make even a bigger profit which takes a little more work spin the flax and sell the bowstrings for even more profit of 180ea . 6. There you go some of the best way pros make millions. i recommend choose a way that you like doing and stick with it in no time you will be one of those players that will have a santa hat or a party hat. Thanks goes to rskid_92,and ryokobalta for helping me with correction in guide Runecrafting expert

twr_phr33k
All your methods are basic knowledge to the general population of Runescapers (craft nature runes, high alchemy, mine coal, fish lobsters). I find it's more of a 'How to level this skill' guide.

Elessar3019
Overall a good guide. I would say a spellchecker would be helpful, as it's kind of difficult to tell what you're trying to say in places. 8/10. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN! Ryokobalta
Actually, a good wawy to make money with smithing is to go to the blast furnace and make steel or mithril plates and alch them. Take 10k, a fire staff, and a bunch of natures and you could live in the blast furnace for a long time. You DO NOT even need to do ANY mining at all. Another way to make money at a REALLY LOW smithing level is to either buy or mine iron ores, smelt with forging rings into bars and smith into knives. You get 5 knives per bar, and they sell for 30-40 each, that's 150-200 gp per bar when you can buy ores at 100 each.

Captainkidd
Borrible lay out, the topics you say just breifly tell you what to do, not how to do them. Thats why we have guides, to tell you how to do it, no just to do it.

Dalcyte
it is a lil hard to read, but the point comes through well.. There are better ways of making money through some of what you said. For instance, i've made virtually 2m in a day from thieving (2 sceptres + artifacts). At 91+ thieving, you can earn around 23k per inventory. Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
rocketron1
ill add the thiving in but its it part of a min game and where do you thieve it and is there a certain lvl to do it Runecrafting expert
