February 3, 200719 yr No you probably want 60 range before you try blue drags. Maybe you could train on menotaurs in the stronghold until then (they drop lots of iron arrows).
February 3, 200719 yr Blue drags definitely. Kill the ones that are in ogre enclave. Since they have high ranged defence, i strongly suggest you use a bow or crystal bow. Darts/knifes won't hit well on them. For the god books, sara and zammy are the more useful ones compared to guthix Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

There used to be a guide that showed really well how to find safespots where there normally wouldn't be one. perfect grammar is one thing, typing like a drugged monkey and enjoying it is anotherAMEN!
February 3, 200719 yr Rethink your book purchase. Zamorak's +8 to all attack is huge. Huge, I tell you. I had the Sara book first, and regret not having gone for Zammy. When you go Barrowing, or playing PC, you'll wish you had your Zammy book. Blue dragons really are a good thing to kill, and most Blue Dragon areas have range/mage safe spots. And if you're gonna mage/range something from a safespot, that's even MORE of an argument for a Zammy book. Why get 4/4 att/def if you're in a safe spot? +8 Attack!

If you need the defence the sara book gives you, use a shield, chances are it's a lot better than the +8 defence the book gives. And Guthix is just a bad version of both. At your level you shouldn't be killing monsters for cash, the ones you can effectively kill have bad drops. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

To elaborate further, the reason you're carrying a prayer book is to boost your prayer level. The reason you're boosting your prayer level is probably because you're doing "Protect From Mage/Range/Melee" for extended periods. In which case, Sara's +8 to defense serves no purpose.
February 3, 200719 yr Yah the sara book is rubbish, its just a very weak sheild mixed with an elemental sheild ( it gives mage def ). If you know your going to be fighting mages, get an elemental sheild, and if your not fighting mages just get a diff book or sheild. The zamy book isnt great as for lower levels they still need the def bonus. I'm a lower level and i use guth, but when i hit like 80 I'ma change zamy. Going for 2.4 bil cabbage, plz donatecurrently at 120 cabbage =/
February 4, 200719 yr Not sure bought ranging, but for the book, get guthix first! Pages are cheap, and it has a nice att and def boost for a shield, kind'of like a mini defender. :P
February 6, 200719 yr Zammy book: costs the most, has the best bonuses Saradomin book: it's use of being the highest magic defense was replaced by the mind shield. costs quite a bit compared to guthix, but is fairly useless Guthix book: by far the cheapest book to complete. and a halfway decent alternative. Go for the Zamorak book if you have the money to fill it.
