im not sure whether or not rs can tell how long a person has been playing the game or not..but there should be an item or so for players that have been playing since like..the beginning. i started playing almost 7 years ago..long before a whoooole lot of things got started and finding lvl 3 pkers with full rune on was common..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i was thinking of a whole new "disguise" that also comes with a new shop/building to explore.

then comes the shop..it can be called "nursing home" that could include..

 

 

 

--"nurse" npc* that heal your hp 3 each time you talk to them.

 

 

 

--beds that can be used to sleep on (like when fatigue was in)..it brings up the old fatigue word typing screen and when completed it ups your agility 2 pts. "you feel young again!"

 

 

 

--a museum that shows old items that arent used anymore..like the disk of no return.

 

 

 

--a miniature library that tells the history of rs..kinda like the library that already exists..but..well..a lil more detail or exactly the same..no big deal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i have a few other ideas but this is just the beginning..

 

 

 

tell me what you think? any other ideas? im pretty sure somethin has been thought of before..

Personally those rewards don't appeal to me but some sort of recognition for how long you've played I support.

How about birthday hats: Every year, on the day you joined RS, a free birthday hat appears in your invent/bank the first time you log in. They go like: Gold (5+ years), Silver (4 years), Blue(3 years), Red(2 years), White (1 year), or something similar. Untradable, and recoverable from Diango if you lose them. Wear your birthday hat (a cone of paper, similar to a phat) to symbolize your age in RS and make people go, "Omg a gold bhat uve been playing 5 yrs lolz!!!"

anyhow, i read somewhere that Jag doesnt have logs of accounts created before 2002 or so. it would be possible to find out when a person started subscription, though. therefor, this fun feature would be members only, again :P

Yeah anyway I think its a cool idea. There should be someway to show how old you are because I've been playing since around April or May(can't remember) 2001, but being only combat lv 80, many people probably don't believe my "age".

This would make me feel old -.-... They'd have to look good because otherwise I wouldn't wear the robes :.. I've played since.. Jan 2002? Around there, one of my accounts has recoveries from there, so I'd prob have the oldest robes, thus probably making me feel like an old geezer :lol:
