February 12, 200719 yr Author meh nice guide practially what i did but i have a faster way from level 25 - 35/40 i'm thinking. go to the snowland take 3 bird traps and 10-15 butterflie jars, set up your bird snares near the sabertoother kyatt thingy majiggy trap and then run around catching butterflies while you catch these birds, trust me alot faster. sounds like fun but: Cerulean Twitch 65xp per bird Sapphire Glacialis 34xp per butterfly Ferret 115xp per so id hate to say, ferrets are quicker. i tried last nite some ferrets and i caught 68 in 30 min for 7,833.6xp birds are just as quick as ferrets to catch so i doubt you would have time to run around and catch butterflies before your bird traps are sprung. and i havent tried butterflies but can u fit more then one in a jar? can u dump them outta the jars and reuse it? if not, bank runs will cut in your xp gains.
February 13, 200719 yr I just wanted to say thank you for this guide. I had never done anything in hunter before, and did 1-40 in about 4 hours today using this. Nice job. I look forward to the improvements and the additional knowledge to come as the levels get higher.

February 15, 200719 yr Nice guide. Ferrets are really fast. I haven't done Hunter for a while though. I want to get up to Red Chinchompas. Does anyone know if you actually need the bait for Red Chinchompas? The bait seems kinda hard/time-consuming to make. You don't need bait for catching anything, ever. It's all optional. And it doesn't really help much anyway. I don't see any difference when or when I don't use it. (I'm a 71 hunter, so I have some experience in the matter.)

February 16, 200719 yr Author i agree, dont use bait. as a matter of fact, i dont even smoke the traps (using a torch). all it seems to do is slow you down. by the time u set your traps, one is already tripped. You would have no time to put bait, smoke trap to remove your scent and all those other things that help you. speed is all that matters imho.
February 16, 200719 yr Red Chinchompas are actually faster then Salamanders. Though I haven't trained Hunter since the second day it was out :P I never got the luxury and speed of ferrets. :(

The spot i found only had so few and they range pretty far thats why i tried out the falcon. fast but tons of work .
