Gin_and_Tonic Posted February 9, 2007 Share Posted February 9, 2007 Well last night i went with my Girlfriend of 1 years 6 months (im only 17) and we went to London to watch Mary Poppins at the Prince Albert Theatre. Its was brilliant. We left home at about 11.20am and got back at about 2am the next day. - Like 14 hours (about 8 of walking about London). Snow caused mayhem to all the trains on the way home, so many were cancelled - But it was still great. : Cost me nearly ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã200 though, and still being a student with a low paying part time job, maybe not the best idea, but it was an early Valentines Day present - And nothing went wrong (which is good for me, as im the SpongeBobSquarePants of Humans). I thought i'd make this thread so people can share their first real day out with their partners (or mates), and tell everyone what it was they did, how it went, what went wrong/right. Mary Poppins is orginally English, but it could definitely be in America. I go out without him and him without me, but then it doesn't matter how much I drink, I would never do anything, in fact I get more feisty than I already am when drunk. As for my boyfriend? He generally doesn't drink anyway so no problems, I trust him. I can't really remember going on a specific date with my boyfriend, we go pretty much everywhere together anyways. We went to see Wicked over Christmas, but that was with my mum and sister as well. Oh and we went ice skating, but that was with my dad as well lol. I'm glad you had a good time though! Wish my man would take me to see some more musicals, I love them so much! Sounds like you had a great time though, even if you had to fork out a bit. SHH HUT YUH MUH. DERKHED.
