February 9, 200719 yr Anyway to do it with ms paint? Its all I have :? Choose a grey color inbetween black and white and kind of outline it.
February 9, 200719 yr Author I added grey lines around the section Sampla highlighted, or should I do the entire thing? Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
February 9, 200719 yr The sections I highlighted were sections i had anti aliased. Notice how they look smoother. Try using the two default greys
February 10, 200719 yr oh god no don't alais this, work on the quality of your arwork before you get too concerned with AAing. It's too big of a piece to start learning, if you want to learn AAing start small, learn the basics.. I don't know who told you guys that AAing and dithering is a necissity.. :-k honestly, don't worry about it until you find yourself thinking, 'what more can I do to improve my pixel art?'.
February 10, 200719 yr Author oh god no don't alais this Eek, to late, I already AA'd the neck. Any other advice? Should I add a background or something so it isn't a magic floating guitar  Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
February 10, 200719 yr i really like your linework, im not good at pixels so i dont no anything else
February 10, 200719 yr the parts i marked are some spots u can improve. How u could chance them is not to use black lines on the edges but a color between those 2 color parts like light gray and black, use a dark gray color on the edges so it looks smoother, also u could make the guitar a bit 3d so it isn't a magic floating guitar : hope this helps a little bit, because i don't know much about guitars i dont know more what could improve -.-
February 10, 200719 yr the bottom of it bugs me...i don't know if it's meant to be that shape but i doesn't look normal guitar shape, it's kind of.....flat... Sig by me....
February 10, 200719 yr actually looking at it more closely i can see the left side of the guitar is off, should look more like
February 10, 200719 yr Very nice for a second pixel, the left side bottom does bug me abit aswell still good. When you AA'd i think that you used too light of a colour because on the outside of the black it looks as if you slightly outlined it with a light grey, it looks cool like that still very nice. February 11, 200719 yr Author Ok I havent sorted out the over-bulged left side yet but I have sorted the metallic bit. What do you think? Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
February 11, 200719 yr I have that exact guitar sitting on a couch next to me... except three pickups, not two. Missing one? The bottom left still pokes out a bit too much. It also needs a smoother transition to where it goes up and then into the left '[bleep]e'. It really has
February 11, 200719 yr Author Ah yeah :wall: it does have three, how did I miss that!!!! Here we go. Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
February 11, 200719 yr I dont think the bottom left is the problem it just needs to be evened out. I made a quick edit to show what I mean. Also the circled part could be curved in just a little bit. pixel sig and avatar by me.
