Help with freaky forrester

Featured Replies

Freaky forrester gives the coolest random event clothing (imo) and yet, he never came for me! How do you get freaky forrester easily? I'm level 73 already, still no freaky forrester. Anybody help?

well they come at random times so there is no chance for increased random events i think. i started merchanting 1 day, got him twice in a few hours

hmm...maybe it's easier to get randoms while merchanting?

i got mime once from merchanting in varroc :P

They come randomly... that's why they're called randoms. But I do get more randoms while burying bones.

do you mean prayer randoms or just overall randoms (like frog or mime)?

At least i have got all my foresters either woodcuttin or fletching.. Never had any randoms merchanting tho :)

Cooking! i have got3 times freaky forrester, 2 times mime and alot of other randoms. :). You will get 1 per 10 minutes or so ::' .

alching thats good and cooking. i think it helps if you dont move your camera angle. if you want leo then bury your bones in lots of 5s. personally ive never had any mime, lenderhosen (sp) or camo and ive been playing for 2 years lol

I got it twice, and...failed it both times

I get him while cooking and woodcutting... There is a reason level 3s woodcutting wear lederhosen...

For the merchanting thing it could very well be. Here's what I think happens..

Whenever you are merchanting in a populated world there is always those "Wanabee Mods" who report someone wait 60 seconds and report another. I have gotten reported many times because I can type fairly fast (92 Gwam). I think whenever someone reports you, you get into a line to be sent a random event.

That's just what I think happens.

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

I got him twice last night, and i was burying bones. 5 hours of burying bones, i increased my prayer level like...20, got 2 Leo the Gravedigger things, 5 mysterious old men, 1 sandwich lady, 2 shades, and 2 freaky foresters. Though, i failed the freaky forester :(.

well the forester i've gotten twice so far and i wasn't doing anything but talking with people those times. so i think u'll get more often when ur stand still for awile.

every time ive been doing something different but mostly mining.

the cloths you get from the random event if you do it correctly.

randoms are sent out when the user seems like theyre autoing.

thats why alching gets lots, because its repetetive cliking and no moving, like an auto.

so in theory, if you cut your wood exactly the same each time, hesitate between each tree etc (generally act like the auto's do) you should get more randoms, as randoms are there to stop autos. Also, try not to talk, im sure that will help you look more like an auto.

I have had the Freaky Forester 6 times:

1. Cutting Willows @ Draynor - No reward (I killed the wrong pheasant :XD: )

2. Walking to Barrows - Reward = Lederhosen Bottoms

3. Firemaking - Rewad = Lederhoaen Top

4. Firemaking - Reward = Lederhosen Hat

5. Alched something randomly - Reward = 500gp

6. Spinning Bowstrings - Reward = 500gp

::'

i was cutting yews and got 3 mimes in 1 day and on the same day 5 genies and on the same day 1 freaky forester i was on like 15 hours that day

runemsanta,2dtv0.gif

I got him 10 times in 3 days while FLETCHING

I've found that if you look like a macroer you're more likely to get random events. I turn off my friend chat (only if i don't have any friends on) and try to click exactly in the same place each time. Also it helps if your doing something repetitious.

Thanks to GoldWorks!

even if didnt get the freaky forester...i still get genies...by watching people fight npcs... guess not moving is the real magnet

Things that make you NOT move:

1) Powerfishing (not mining, you always move)

2) Powercutting

3) Alching

4) Merchanting

....list more

I have two lederhosen pieces. The first lederhosen piece I got was a lederhosen hat. I got it while killing moss giants in Crandor in a fairly empty world. I got my second piece of lederhosen buying iron ore in world one in Falador outside the bank slightly nearer to the mining guild side. That piece was the lederhosen shirt.
