LGBR
Call a church if you want something fast, I personally had 60 hours once and joined habitat for humanity, now its something I've been apart of for 5 years The world would be a whole lot better if little green men in UFO's came down to earth to abduct rednecks. zaquierming
Salvation Army, Goodwill, local church. Any non-profitable organization. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
foolgool
Food banks/drives, churches, libraries, and schools are all excellent places for community service. The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.
Giordano
I would go to a Church. Good luck though, I loathe CS. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
Celt23
:o :o ! You can work at a library for community service?! I'd want to get myself community service just for that!
lawrencekill
I think it's almost for any non-profit organization you can get community service hours for. If you're paid it doesn't count as community service though. Just wondering but what requires 60 hours of CS, middle school to high school? In Ontario, between Grades 9-12, you have to complete 40 hours of CS.
Celt23
How many hours a day? I'm still holding onto the fact that the library would be fun. Edit- Who deleted all those posts? Explanation?
Joordaan
A good library would be fun, but, the Sudbury one? NAHH. I do it at a bowling alley, I'm there every week anyways. I add the scores into the computer, calculate the averages, stuff like that. I suggest you do it somewhere where people are familiar with you (example: If you play hockey, a hockey rink.). Pay it forward!

Or at the end of the year, taking posters down and putting books back for them. Or tutoring people in math.

Where I live you have to commit an offense to get it and its picking rubbish up off the roads. schools require you to do a certain amount of community service. In middle school I think i had to do 10 yrs a year. In high school I think it was 10 a year, but I think I made some of the hours up.
