You never stop burning them according to the knowledge base. After 90 cooking you will burn very little of them though.

The cooking gauntlets dont effect monkfish (without they have updated it)

  • Dragon Axe x11
    Berserker Ring x9
    Warrior Ring x8
    Seercull
    Dragon Med
    Dragon Boots x4 - all less then 30 kc
    Godsword Shard (bandos)
    Granite Maul x 3

Solo only - doesn't include barrows[/hide][hide=Stats]

I don't think cooking gauntlets reduce burning chances of monkfish, you can try your luck at the range in lumby kitchen. It burns less according to the cook but does not seem to work for me

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

The range there only effects low level fish lower than lobster (or something like that). Forgot who mentioned this but it seems quite true. It hasn't ever helped me with my fish (lobsters/monkfish).
