You walk back to the nature altar, god that tiara looks disguisting on my head, wish you could get rid of it? You hop into the Nature Altar, make your measly 25 nature runes. Yay.

 

 

 

But wait!

 

 

 

Would YOU like to make 1,000 Nature runes, 1,000 Law Runes or 1,000 Death Runes PER hour. Look no more, this is the place to find out!

What is the Abyss?

 

 

 

The Abyss is another dimension which allows you to access any altar and does not require any talisman or tiara, though there is a high risk of getting killed by a pker outside the abyss. Once you pop into the Abyss it is not wilderness inside, so you do not have to worry about getting killed by players inside, although you will become skulled and your prayer will be drained too 0, then a load of annoying and weak monsters will keep trying to bite you. They range from level 41 to level 91. If your combat level is high enough, they will not auto attack you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How to gain access to the Abyss?

 

 

 

Ehh you don't just go up to a Zamorak mage and be like 'Hai2u can i lal comje into ze altar? pl0x?!!111.

 

 

 

You have to complete a little tiny mini-quest for him.

 

 

 

Where is the zamorak mage that teleports you to that amazing place?

 

 

 

 

 

 

He will be wondering inside the circle that i have drawn on the map, i have also shown the fastest route to him.

 

 

 

Then you proceed to strike up a conversation with the jolly fellow, he should something like this to you:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ok, so he's also paranoid about getting Pked by some saradomin mage, no wonder. He's carrying a couple of thousand death and blood runes on him, not counting all the element runes on him.

 

 

 

He runs a little shop, from which you can buy All elemental, mind,chaos, death and blood runes.

 

 

 

So he tells you to go to Varrock Chaos Temple, now you're wondering where the bloody hell is that?

 

 

 

 

 

 

You happily stroll to Varrock Chaos Temple. That is where he gives you the task. He hands you over a little orb which you have to carry with you.

 

 

 

He wants you to teleport inside an essence mine from 3 different locations.

 

 

 

Locations of Essence Teleport Hubs:

 

 

 

• *Wizard Sedridor on the lower level of the Wizard Tower South of Draynor Village.
   
   
   
  * Aubury in the rune shop in Varrock, just South of the East Bank.
   
   
   
  * Wizard Cromperty in East Ardougne, just to the Northeast of the Marketplace.
   
   
   
  * Wizard Distentor in the Magic Guild in Yanille.
   
   
   
  * The gnome Brimstail in a cave in the Tree Gnome Stronghold (North west of Ardougne). To find his cave, head Northwest in the Stronghold until you see a small bridge on the West side of the Stronghold. Brimstail's cave is inside a large hollow rock a little to the East of that bridge.

You teleport inside an essence mine through 3 diffrent hubs and your ready to go back to your friendly Zamorakian mage inside the Varrock Chaos Temple.

 

 

 

He thanks you and reveals the secrets of the abyss to you and gives you a small pouch! Success, we have access to the abyss now.

 

 

 

NOTE: Make sure to talk to him after he gives you the abyssal book and ask him if the abyss is dangerous, or else when you go back to him in level 5 wilderness, he will tell you to go back to him and ask him about the danger back in Varrock.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What are Pouches?

 

 

 

What are these pouches? You obtain pouches by killing the monsters inside the abyss.

 

 

 

There are 4 types of pouches.

 

 

 

Small Pouch Holds:3 Essence RC level: 1

 

 

 

Medium Pouch Holds:6 Essence RC level: 25

 

 

 

Large Pouch Holds:9 Essence RC level: 50

 

 

 

Giant Pouch Holds:12 Essence RC level: 75

 

 

 

Tip: Every single monster inside the abyss has exactly the same drop chance on Pouches, so why not one hit the level 41 ones over and over? They only have 10 HP and you can run around just one hitting them and you'll get pouches fast.

 

 

 

Tip2: Use Cannon.

 

 

 

Pouches deteriorate over time, just take them to the mage in the inner circle of the abyss and he repairs them for free.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What to take with you?

 

 

 

Inventory:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pouches:I take the 3 pouches i can use, you can take 4 if you are 75 Runecrafting.

 

 

 

Ectophial is for fast escape, if i get into trouble with a pker. If you have not completed the quest to get the Ectophial yet, just bring Camelot Teleport runes.

 

 

 

Equipment:

 

 

 

 

 

 

Full Dragon hide. If you can not use black dragon hide, just bring whichever you can use.

 

 

 

Fully charged glory amulet.

 

 

 

Ring of Dueling, for those moments when you are inside the altar and your like oh shi i forgot my glory amulet.

 

 

 

A mining pick, i suggest bringing a mining pick instead of an axe, because the mining 'opportunitys' seem to appear most often.

 

 

 

Gasmask is optional. Wearing it makes you look cool and stuff, so yeah bring it, though its just optional. You can bring a Mystic hat instead of extra protection.

 

 

 

Cape You can bring a god cape for extra magic protection against pkilers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is inside the Abyss?

When you talk to the Zamorakian mage in level 5 wildy and ask him to teleport you inside. He will teleport you inside the outer circle of the abyss, in which you will have the choice of 5 methods to get inside the inner circle, which holds the Rune Rifts.

The abyss teleports you either at the total north or total south.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Conclusion:

 

 

 

Have fun making 300k-350k per hour with this guide. You should be averaging 900-1100 runes per hour.

 

 

 

Just watch out for the pkilers, always check if anyone is standing outside the zamorack mage with a nice ancients staff or any mage staff. If they are, give it a risk and try run past maybe their not gonna attack. If they attack, they will usually bind you or ancients freeze you. So hit your ectophial or teleport before they cast tele block on you, this way you will never die to abyss pker and you can just spit in their face.

 

 

 

Also try to stack up on 20-28 dragon amulets. Offcourse more is fine. So that you do not have to run to hero's guild everytime your one single amulet de-charges. You can also use ancients to teleport back to edgeville dungeon, but its not worth it cause it takes over precious essence place, and adds extra walking distance.

As for cape, if you wear sara godcape (an i assume the same is for guthix, not sure on that tbh) then the zammy mage gets mad and wont let you in. so it has to be zammy god cape.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although if you have the hunting lvls the spotted capes are always nice too. Also pentance gloves are good if you got enough points from barbarian assault, else black vamps are always nice ;)

using ethopial is fine, but it teleports far away, i suggest using teleportation tablets. They are much more campact + they are stackable, everyone can use them and they can teleport back to varrock (if you've got the right one).

I personally thought this was a very good guide. I already knew everything, but I wish I had read this when I made my first natures.
