Hi, i'm slifer404 and this is my guide to the wonderful world of Green Dragon killing. This is my 1st guide, so it will be a little... bad. :( So, without further ado, lets get down to it!

1. Green Dragon General Info

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To some, the green dragon is a creature of epidemic proportions. To others, it is an easy way to get some cash. To me, it is a cool creature to kill without wasting anything like food or time. The dragon itself is well... green :D It is level 79 so I would wait until you are level 75 or higher before killing these guys.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Equipment and Such

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

When killing these guys, the absolute most important thing to remember is to BRING YOUR ANIT-DRAGONFIRE SHIELD!!!!! If you forget this, you are screwed, as they are know to 1-hit kill on low level players and hit 50's on higher leveled ones. I usually wear runepl8 and legs, some kind of helmet, an anit-dragonfire shield (Don't forget!!!) and an ammy of some kind(power or higher). To fight with i use an abby whip, but any dragon weapon works to, you could even push it and use a rune weapon, whatever you want to use. In the inventory, I would bring tele runes to Fally and 15 swordies. If you pick up the hides and bones, space fills up fast so take as little as possible

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Where to Find the Dragons

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The dragons in question are found in the wilderness. If you hate the wilderness like a friend of mine, too bad, go find another thing to kill. :boohoo: the place that I normally kill in is the little pit place in the west, in level 10-13 wildy. I like it because u can tele out if you have to and isn't that much of a walk from fally. Another place is the lava lake place in level 22 wildy. I don't kill there, so i dont know how it is, but i will try it in a little bit. A third place is above the graveyard of shadows in level 25 wildy. Exactly like the one above, i haven't killed there, so i don't know that much about it, but i will try it. Finally, there is the level 38 widly just south of the lava maze. I defiantly would not recommend killing there. I tried once, it didn't work out 2 well, i got PKed and lost a lot of loot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Pros and Cons of Killing

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pros :)

 

 

 

They are easy to kill if u r a high enough level, i am level 81 and kill them easily

 

 

 

They have pretty good drops for their level, even the clue once and a while

 

 

 

They are the easiest of the dragons to kill

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cons :(

 

 

 

They are found in the wildy, so u have to risk being PKed

 

 

 

Most of the killing spots are above level 20 widly, and the one that isn't is usually crowded

 

 

 

People hang around them to PK dragon killers like you

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Expected Loot

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most of the time, u can expect some mith stuff, steel pl8legs and stuff like that. The best I have gotten is a clue. They also drop rune daggers, I myself have four. I hear they drop drag weapopns, but i have never gotten one, so I don't know. They drop herbs a lot as well. But the thing they drop most is...... Coins! :shock:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. How to Aviod Those Pesky PKers

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pkers are the number one thing to look out for when Green Dragon killing (other than the dragon) This section gives a few tips on how to get away from those Pkers that want your head!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can take some runes for one of the bind, snare entangle spells if you want and if your mage level is good enough, but beware, this only works on melee Pkers

 

 

 

You can tele if you see a white dot, but i don't recommend that to much/

 

 

 

If you are brave and have a high enough combat skill, you can fight them away!

 

 

 

If you are running away, try and trap them behind a wall or something, it will slow them down and give you time to escape

 

 

 

Archers and Mages can't attack while running, they have to stop so if they do, it gives you a chance to lengthen the distance.

I think you mean you have a risk of being PK'ed. Because no matter where the dragons are, you always have a risk of being killed...

em...improve the grammar, i realize that if you don't speak english that well, then thats okay, but try to improve it if you can. pictures would be nice too. 5/10

Pretty much stating what is already known fact. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that you have to bring an anti-fire shield, and I can guarantee you that if somebody forgets it once, they won't do it again. 4/10. Needs some more in-depth info (such as how to avoid PKers), and obviously a spell-check wouldn't hurt.

ok, i improved the grammer a bit, but i still don't know how to take pictures, can someone please tell me!!! It would make the guide soooo much better!!!!!!! I plan on adding a "how to avoid PKer's"section later today, any other suggestions would be really appreatied!!

Nothing special to other green drag killing guides, But atleast you tried.

but i wanna see some good guides with new info and usefull pics... youll get nice replays and nothing like: already many of these, 5 sec guide ftw, i already knew this, this doesnt add anything to other guids, bla bla bla...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but when/ where / what world do you kill them? just want to test my tb abilitys :anxious: (tell me and ill give you a cookie)

Not bad for a first timer, add pics tho. i'll teach ya when i get on. oh, and rangers and mages CAN ATTACK while running if the person is in their range. and there are no walls to run into to avoid meleers :anxious:

a few things

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1- pics say evrything make a pic of how to get there how they look

 

 

 

2-include the tip.it bestary entry

 

 

 

3-mention a other popular way (range)

 

 

 

4- don't use a shorthent word in a guide a guide should be understandable for some one who has not playd runescape for a second (don't say rune pl8 no using 8's for ate)

 

 

 

5- there are already some good guides while this one has nothing extra the others do.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but after al the critisism (hope you use it) comes the raiting 6/10

why is it that everyone posts about green dragons, and not the other dragons....

You should improve the equipment and such.

My problem was you always turn people down so much (afkraken). You can also just say it a litle nicer and more subtle (subtieler).
