RS3 Theories...

Featured Replies

There probably wont be a Runescape 3 game, they seem to be capable of improving graphics to the point where it looks like an early ps2 game which is impressive (going on the recent updates), i personally want the landcape to be given an overhaul because at the moment the ground you walk on looks awful. In 2 years i'm sure the whole game will have been given a full graphical fix/improvement, but the question is will Runescape be popular or even relevant in the MMORPG market?

i'm sure they'll make a rs3 or simply make a HUGE update on graphics as the years go by

thats what they're doing all the time... take the recent drags, kq, scorpions... just watch the updates and you'll have the answer...

mostly improved graphics, clan support, and an outrageously larger world with a huge skill-based transport system!

There's no such thing as "wireless." Just really long extension cords.

The only thing i could see them doing with a rs3 is move from java, and that would be a stupid move on their part. The only reason runescape has got where it is, is because of its most critized flaw, graphics. Runescape is ,essentially, the "Poor mans" WOW. It works on most computers and is cheap, because they don't have to pay for anything intense. If jagex updated runescape to run with graphics similar to that of WOW, it would lose most of its community. They know this, because what they have works, and works well. It not only holds a near monopoly on cheap MMORPGs, but it is running with the big dogs, coming in second on the popularity list. This game, inspite of its graphics problems, have outran games like lineage and guild wars. Why? Because those games are trying to tap into the WOW crowd, they have to compete much more. Runescape, however, is in a league of its own.

Some people are like slinkies, normally they are dull, but they always give you a smile

when you push them down a flight of stairs.

you never know...they may make a RS3 with all stats, names, items ect transferable to the new graphic updated version. So like I said -

IF theres not going to be a RS3, then just talk about what would of been cool if they were planning on making one

I say cooler attacks with sword. Like on Lord of the Rings they got all those awesome atttacks. And also better magic, like spells so you can heal yourself and others in wildy....things like that.

We already have that.

If it's been confirmed that there will be no rs3' date=' then simply discuss what you would of liked to see if they were planning on making a RS3. [/b']

I would definitely like to hear improved sound effects and good music. Something that would want me to unmute RS essentially.
