Worth a risk?

A level 3 clue leads me to just above the bone yard in the wilderness. Never been there before so I was just wondering whats there and if its a popular PK place ( bone yard itslef) Or any tips to completing the clue. As I dug for the last clue I got a saradomin mage, Will I get a mage appear this time? What should I take?

I'd personally say that any clue is worth it, especially level 3's with the chance of 3rd Age Armour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even if the clue leads to a popular PK place (like mage arena, axe hut) you can almost always find an empty world.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I recommend bringing a DDS, some random food like tuna, and your clue. If it was a coordinate clue, bring your sextant, watch and map(?). If this is the case, you'll also have to fight a mage. Pray magic against the mage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The reason for bringing so few items is so if you are attacked, you drop everything but your clue, your DDS and another item so they may be saved.

Not many pkers go there because it is not worth their time. Usually only people with 4 items or less go there so that they can get a little prayer experience. It is same for you to finish your clue in my opinion.

I think it will be a zammy mage instead of a sara mage (zammy mages are weaker just so you know)

zammy mages can only use magic, unlike the sara who also uses a ddp+ or ddp++

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

so i would bring clue scroll, your best melee weapon, the things you need for a coordinate scroll (if thats what you got)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and if not, bring anything that has either a good str bonus or prayer bonus so you are at the 3 item

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

also, just make sure you don't attack anyone or skulled(lol typo) when you try this.

Just go there and bring random food so you won't die on the way there or the way back. Bring tele runes too so you have a greatr chance of surviving.

Dont wear anything, or bring anything but a dds, your 3 items, and your clue.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Full prayer should be enough for you to get through a zammy mage, as he will -only- you mage on you, unlike the Sara mage. If you're uncomfortable with that, maybe 1 p pot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The trick is, to bring as little as possible so if you are attacked, drop your sextant and compass, which, with just alil construction you can make hundreds of these, so should you die, you don't drop that all important clue. :)

Firstly, bring a dds, and I usually bring full black d'hide with cooking guants. Zammy mages are weak, but fighting him in wildy also makes you vulnerable to pker's therefore you want to kill him and get out of wild as fast as possible.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Thats pretty much it... on your walk to the bone yard. Always watch your mini-map. If you see any white dots, log out. Also, keep your private chat to friends. (Pker's can be consistant and a pest if they think you have good items [i say put it on friends so they cant add you and follow you while you find a more empty world])

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Never drop a lvl 3 clue. Always finish it unless you can not enter the area needed.

also, if you have a chest, don't open it until you are out of the wildy. If it contains your reward, you can lose it all, as it counts as multiple items. If it's the chest, you'd only have 1 item.

I'd finsh it, you got a chance for 3rd age or somthing else worth it, bring nothing but clue and clue stuff with some lobbies like 10 and a tele. Head out to a small pop. world and while getting there log out if you see a white dot. You mite want to try non-members for getting there and once your there hop get the stuff and run to level 20 wildy and tele out.

Bring no armor, bring a dds, strength ammy, maybe some gloves and boots. Bring a prayerpot, and maybe a set of potions. When you dig, put on protect from magic, as a zamorkian mage will probably appear. If it does, dds spec it to death. Don't open the casket until you get out of wild.
