Is a dragon axe really worth it?

I just bought a dragon axe, it seems better than the rune axe. But I can't really judge that, as I've been using it for like 15 minutes now..

Do you think that it is really worth is, or is it a waste of a good 3+ million?

I heard theres a 16% difference in speed.

To cut willows, i wouldn't bother tbh, i was actually banking faster than somone using a D axe.

However, it is unlikely the prices will fall drastically, so if you can afford, i'd go ahead...

I think the difference will be far more noticeable with higher level woods than it would be for stuff like willows.

i think it's really worth it, i had one and it cutted loads faster then rune axe!

they're 3.3m

if you're cutting yews this will be best way to make it back:

cut 11.000 yews

(will take about 20 days playing 6 hours a day with 70 wc)

Well at 75 woodcutting I loaned mine to a friend with 69 woodcutting and we were both chopping yews in Seers - I used a rune axe.

Starting at the same time she was able to chop a full load, bank and return before I was done. Convinced me that I had made a decent investment.

The first time the head came off (chopping Mahoganies) was a bit of a shock to me! So I tend to pay close attention to make sure I do not end up with an expensive axe handle!

Yes, if you WC alot, then it is worth it. I cut magics for a while with my pitiful 77 wc, and with the dragon axe I got them at a reasonable rate.
