I have been out of the game for a few years now and have started to kinda get back into it. I am wondering what is considered the best weapon now or your weapon of choice. I currently just have a dragon b-axe and I know there are better weapons out there. Let me know what you think. I have also tried to do a search on the forum for weapons but I cant seem to find anything. Thanks

Whip if you're not going to use a barrows set.

However, if you have 70 attack, strength and defence, and about 3.5m, i'd suggest buying full Dharocks and training on low hitpoints ~ That way you can churn up some massive hits. \

Whip is the best WEAPON. I've heard that the new BarrelChest Anchor from todays quest is quite good considering its cost.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whip is fast and good stats +82 slash, +82 str.

i like the d scimmy because its way cheaper than a whip and still pretty good

when fighting harder monsters I use a ddp++ and once I use up all of its special I switch to the whip. The whips are really nice and it looks like the price is dropping on them.

I personally use d scimitar, fast, strong, and easy to get. Only semi-hard requirement is monkey madness, which isn't too hard. That and d legs, d med, rune plate, rune boots, obby shield and cape, glory (fury if you can afford it), and ring of life/recoil.

I want to thank everybody for your replies. I think that I will probably go with the whip. everyone is pretty much in agreement there.

basically if you have the requirements whip is best for overall training of attack and def, and d scimmy is best for strength training.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

other weapons and sets are useful, like dharoks, guthans and veracs depending on what you are fighting.
