May 1, 200719 yr I reckon Liverpool could win the tournament. They put out last years winners, put out PSV easily & have the mental advantage of putting out Chelsea last time the met in the Champions League. I told you, Liverpool would benefit from that little mental advantage because lets face it penalty shootouts are a real test of guts and mental strength. I still say Liverpool to win (as I've said since they put out PSV). I still think Man Utd are vunerable in defence & will go out tomorrow night, leaving the door open for Liverpool vs AC Milan round two. May 1, 200719 yr Author That was pretty boring for the first 90 minutes, then it comes to life, very intense game it turned out to be. The penalties were great, I knew Geremi was gonna be saved even before the match started. :P Would love to see Milan vs Pool final. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY
May 1, 200719 yr Know theres lots of exitement after lpool game but what do you all think of joey bartons ban? hes one of my favourite players and despite his personal problems i think the premiership needs more players like him - plays with passion and tells it like it is. I especially liked his verbal attack on Lampard and Gerrard after the world cup :D
May 1, 200719 yr I'm so happy drunk right now I could possibly die. But if I did, I'd die a very happy scouser. May 2, 200719 yr I was lucky to catch the second half from the 60th minute. And the game itself wasn't too good, but it sure was exciting. There's so much difference between the Chelsea stadion and the Liverpool one. There's so much atmosphere in Liverpool, while it seems to be lacking in london. May 2, 200719 yr Well well well. Dwight Yorke back in the Prem League. I certainly hope he isn't as lazy for his old mate as he was for Sydney in the year he was here.
May 2, 200719 yr It's official.. Liverpool vs Milan on May 23rd. I hope it's as good a match as the last time they faced off. :)
May 2, 200719 yr I wish I had put money on my semi-finals picks, I would have made a tidy sum. Liverpool vs.AC Milan round two - I absolutely can't wait. May 2, 200719 yr Kaka has now scored 10 goals in 12 Champs League matches. :o Hmm, 3 weeks remain for the finals. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
May 2, 200719 yr Im sure Benitez said that it would be a Milan v Liverpool final before there had even been a knockout round. Im putting money on who he predicts next year.
May 2, 200719 yr Can't wait for that rematch. :P This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 2, 200719 yr The final of 2005 was the best European Champions League match I can remember. The Liverpool comeback was legendary. It's gonna be a titanic game... Milan want some revenge and Liverpool are just awesome in cup ties. Can't wait!
May 2, 200719 yr Id say Milan are definite favourites though. But you can't put anything past Liverpool, especially in Europe as we already know. by the way bubsa how come theres a lamp post behind all the celebrating players in your sig? :P They seriously need to get him sold imo, hes absolutely useless and even worse for england. I reckon they should try getting Owen back or some other little nippy player that isn't craig Bellamy. Unlikely but i think Obi Martins is an option because Newcastle don't need both of them and they will ned the funds for someone who can defend.
May 3, 200719 yr Crouchy has been as good as gold for us this season, done everything that was required, as has Bellamy. Benitez uses them both in different ways against different teams for different tactics. Seeing as Rafael is the best tactical nous in the game today, I see no reason to sell them at all. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 3, 200719 yr Despite being 6' 7'' he cant head for toffee. All hes done really is his 'Crouchaldinhio' against arsenal. And I just don't think Bellamy has lived up to expectations and hasn't done what we saw at Blackburn and his clubs before that. But still oh what id give to be in Liverpool's position. But still, Robbie Blake has said he will play i league 1 for us :P . Thats as long as Dennis not so Wise does't get rid of him. + also you cant say you wouldn't rather have michael Owen back than Bellamy?
May 3, 200719 yr No, of course not, but seeing as Bellamy was half the price for transfer and wages over Owen, I agree as to why we picked him. Owen's only in it for the money, Liverpool fans have always known that. What I'd give for a second coming of Fowler ala 1995 This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
May 3, 200719 yr Speaking of God, has anyone heard anything new about him moving to USA? The last I'd heard he wasn't interested in coming here and was speaking to the New England Revolution.
