Grogthurk
Think its possible doing slayer and my given stats?
RSBDavid
What gear and how many hours will you play a day? DO you mean melee stats or ALL combat stats. [software Engineer] - [Ability Bar Suggestion] - [Gaming Enthusiast]
Grogthurk
No GS/SS. But whip/dscim barrows. It will vary, but 6 hours?
RayOxide
Easily, as long as you play often enough and dont get bored. No GS/SS. But whip/dscim barrows. It will vary, but 6 hours? Sounds good. I dont need a siggy no moar.
Grogthurk
Even doing slayer? I could care less about Range/mage btw.
RayOxide
Yes, you should be able to do it expecting you have the crap tasks blocked, a slayer helm/black mask and take pots to your tasks. I dont need a siggy no moar.
Grogthurk
Going to start potting on tasks, because I don't actually have the slayer mask, but black mask. Making this Abberant Spectre task a little annoying. I was potting, but seem to have forgotten on this task. Any rough estimate on how long it should take? Maxing stats, not this task. Inuashakent
~70k xp/hour average, ~30m xp needed, so ~400 hours. Rough estimate, but you get the average. Whip on controlled > everything. Grogthurk
I think its the most rewarding of any skill, seeing as it helps all skills.
RayOxide
I have no idea since personally I only slay or kill things (outside of range) when I have little to do. I cant estimate for crap either :? But yeah getting into the potting habit can be abit annoying for some, and takes a while. Always leave offers in during a task and NEVER buy too many. EDIT: DDS specs will make your strength go up quicker so dont round your stats off completely, ATK and DEF equal but STR a little behind. Say a level from your current? I dont need a siggy no moar. Grogthurk
Now, should I even out my stats before I put whip on controlled?
Inuashakent
No. I wouldn't. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]

sadukar123
Yes, get your strength and defence to be 84. This is only if you want to be cool, and level all 3 to 99 at once. Drops: Misc: Abyssal Whip x28 , Dark Bow x5, Beserker Ring x3, Warrior ring x1 Dragon: Dragon Platelegs x2 , Dragon Plateskirt x2, Dragon Boots x38, Dragon Med Helm x4, Shield left half x3 Godwars: Godsword shard x13, Bandos Hilt x3, Bandos Chestplate x6, Bandos Tassets x4, Bandos Boots x5, Saradomin Sword x1, Zamorakian Spear x1,. Armadyl Helm x2, Armadyl chestplate x2.
RayOxide
I would say even out your stats but thats only cause I love the word 'equal' and everything to do with it.. =P~ Again note if you spec you should use a DDS and that would be on strength so keep your strength a little lower than the others. It'll still hit 99 quicker than the other 2. I dont need a siggy no moar.
Grogthurk
I could always even them out later, my exp to the next level on all three is about the same for each now, so I'll whip with controlled then I'll even them out ;)
JHalpert
Another question I have that seems to apply to the topic is about controlled vs. focused. Is the number 1.33 an exact number or rounded to the hundredth (is 1.33 meant to mean 1 1/3)? If it is the exact number, then training focused would give a small amount more xp in the long run (focused would give 4 xp when total xp gained for the same hit with focused would be 3.99). For someone training 30m xp that could become significant. Is this making any sense or am I just being stupid? [hide=Stats][/hide]

Either way, even though I train controlled, might it be better to train attack or strength, then the other of those two, and finally defense? I mean, higher attack and strength levels would equal slightly faster defense training. Has this been tested? When I see people say it, I pronounce it "poon" in my head. Makes more sense to me. My friend said it in real life once and I almost kneed him in the family-maker.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
