Manuvdv's Slayer Blog - UPDATE 69 SLAYER / 30 Aug

Introduction

Hello fellow tip.it'ers.

Since I became member, I never really concentrated on slayer. I thought it was a fun skill, but I never did more than 2 tasks at a time. But now I've reached 94 Combat and 66 Slayer, so it's about time to start the real work :wink:.

Want to contact me, or have a small chat? Just mention it in your reply in here. My private is mostly on friends, so if you don't mention, I can't add you... It would be fun to have some tip.it'ers and slayers in my list, support will be needed!

Equipment

To reach the ultimate slayer level, I also need some equipment eh :o

This is what I'll be using:

I haven't got a whip yet, but it's on his way. So far I haven't used a cannon, maybe I will, but not yet.

Goal

Offcourse every single slayer wants 85 Slayer. But I know this is a really BIG step, so I'll divide it. First I'll reach 75 Slayer and take a break. Then let's rush to 85!

On my way to 85 Slayer, I'll achieve a goal I've had since I started playing Runescape: 100 Combat.

I will be slaying most of my rs-time, but not 100%. I still have some runecrafting to do (whip), and some other skills to train.

Just know, as I've already mentioned in my first post, I'm not slaying all the time. I still have skills to level and a whip to earn.

Bought myself 70 firemaking today, I'll be burning sometimes when a task is finished.

And no I still don't have 70 fm, I've always seen fm as a waste of time and money.. :P

Thx. Uhm about the salmon.. You probably know that screen is taken on Ape Atoll, in the temple with the 167 Monkey Guardians?

On the screen I'm using Protect Melee because there's an altar next to me eh, and I had some salmon with me because the Lvl 2 Spiders poison. The second trip I brought Guthans though, much easier :P .

And I hate fishing, so I barely have any lobs or sharks banked. Maybe I'll get 76 fishing later on (6k feathers left), but not yet :)

Just got Half of a Key from Turoths, it's added in main post.

Attack 76 @ Jellies! Screen in first post, as usual.

Also got Rune full helm drop (as you can see in screen), and another pair of mithril boots. Both added to list.

Bones to Peaches spell, while slaying I also need some food eh O:)

Also got 77 Attack yesterday, screen is on another computer though...

Today no slayer xp, I've been runecrafting for a while. 3k nats so far, maybe another 2k tomorrow. Then back to slayer, only 45k xp till 70!
