Godslayer was asking for it back, and I got to thinking, I missed it too! So we are back in business.

The concept is simple. We give a topic each day. You draw a little sketch, painting what ever. Then we all post our stuff and have fun comparing.

You can do more than one entry if you like. And if you miss one you want to do, you can always post it later.

Do it for fun, do it for study, do it for a little self respect.

Also, some want to be able to post their other works here. that is fine :) The more stuff the better.

Anyway, even if you have an existing drawing on the theme, try to do a new one :) the idea is to stretch your skills!

Sounds fun! Anyways, still studying for finals but I made a non-human creature, I'll add fairy wings when I'm done with those darn exams. Pixelish faerie?

Just whipped this up...

I am working on something...but an element other than the fairy was so good I am making a seperate image from it. Will try to do the fairy soon though!

Haha... I'll do the next one... fairies aren't really my thing...

Good luck remembering to post this everyday... I did it for about a week then got sick of being the only participant. But hey, maybe if at least 2 of us do them... who knows....

Hehe well lets do two at a time...you pick one, I pick one. I plan on working on my art as my main hobby now that I finally unplugged my vegetated brain from rs. If one of us is gone the other can just do both. THat way we have some backup. I would actually like to get three or so of us..maybe wyrm...that whole mod thing means he will be coming back. And that way we have enough themes that people can choose what suits them.

And I just found out the best tip....which I am sure most normal folks already knew. I was doing all my work in 72 dpi...that is why it was so sloppy. My latest I accidentally did at 200 dpi since I scanned it and I had more control and more color vibrancy...two things I wanted for my work.

You're the guy who did that plate-armored knight dying thing, right?

I think you have a very interesting pencil stroke and technique. I love it, to be honest, and wouldn't mind seeing some more of your work. Keep it up.

I'd rather not be reponsible for posting things... with me you never know if I'm gonna show up the next day... things can get busy around here and it' just not a good idea... Maybe you can just post a theme, an object, and a character... or something like that.. and then people can pick from those....

Yeah, the roofs need a tiny bit more work, but I gotta say I'm probably your #1 fan right now. Great job on that.

Just on a sidetrack, do you draw it on a full sheet and reduce the size? If so, care to show us the full size version?

I drew it on a small part of a random piece of paper, actually. :wink:

My scanner enlarges the image by a LOT, so I have to resize it to 29% to get it back to its original dimensions.

My 30 second gesture drawing for a fairy...

I'll do a building at work today if I have time...

Had a few extra minutes.... haha... blah... my wrist hurts like hell I think I did this in like 4 minutes...
