H1P Presents: Are you Runescape's Best Dresser?

Date: Saturday 25th March, 2006

Time:

6.00 PM GMT

4.00 AM ACT (Australia - Sunday 26th March)

12.00 PM CST

10.00 AM PST

1.00 PM EST

Can't find your time?

Where: Runescape, F2P, Falador (See below for precise details)

World: 7

What: Prove to everyone that you are indeed the funky punk you say you are.

Details: The competition will be judged by Blipo, Selbbub, Socc_Masta, and Moron8725 and their decisions will be final. There will be 4 categories, listed below. Please note that whilst F2P'ers may anter any category, there is also a F2P Open Class category that P2P'ers may not enter, or if they do, may not wear P2P clothing.

There will be several catagories:

Most Realistically Dressed - The person who looks most like something in real life, for example a miner, or a spy, an office worker, whatever floats your boat. This may be entered by F2P or P2P'ers.

Craziest Look - Speaks for itself, the wackiest, zaniest, craziest look wins. This may be entered by F2P or P2P'ers.

Best Dressed Overall - Whoever the judge deems to be the best dressed, it could be anything, so it is a bit of a freestyle event! This may be entered by F2P or P2P'ers.

F2P Open Class - Only F2P'ers can enter this event. It will be judged according to what the judge deems to be the best outfit. Please note, you cannot win this category if you are wearing any that is not available on F2P. F2P quest items are allowed.

We require that all applicants go to the following places for judging:

Most Realistically Dressed - Between Rimmington and Port Sarim, judged by Moron8725

Craziest Look - Between Draynor Manor and the River Lum , judged by Blipo

Best Dressed Overall - To the West of Ice mountain, judged by Selbbub

F2P Open Class - between Draynor Manor and the Falador boundary, judged by Socc_Masta

Thanks to Tip.It for the map

The winner of each category will be required to pose for a screen shot to post on this thread.

After the judging, we will be forming a chain, with the judge leading everybody into Falador Park for a party (Linedancing, freestyle dancing, general fooling about!).

Prizes:

Most Realistically Dressed - 150K

Craziest Look - 150K

Best Dressed - 200K

F2P Open Class - 150K

N.B. Prizes are subject to change up until the start of the party

Best Dressed winner gets the prestigious title of 'Runescape's Top Dresser', which they can boast wherever they go!

This is the largest event that H1P has run so far, and we are sure it will be a great success! Any queries or comments may be directed to Calvernator (Hobgoblin11), Blipo, Honest1 or Im_Watchen.

Nice ^^ Gotta enter

Some questions:

We can enter multiple categories right?

And can we enter with multiple dresses in the same category right?

As all categories are being judged at the same time, and it is in a F2P world, unless you enter 2 categories in te same costume, or both in F2P clothes, it is unlikely that you will be able to swap to a members world, change outfit, and log back into World 7, and get to the correct location in time! If you can do it, of course you can enter 2 categories. If you do so, make sure you get a screen shot, as I will be most impressed!

To the second question, yes, you may, although it will be more difficult for the judges.

T_T But me and my friends have a lot of good costumes to use...

Meh, I suppose we will have to choose one...but they are all good ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâìo̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâì

Edit: Another question:

Can we go in group with a group dress?

Read my post above yours again. I editted it straight after I posted it as I changed my mind. Sorry for any confusion caused.

Note that you may not get judged on the costume that you think is your bes, as the judges will be wandering round, picking who they think is best. Therefore, your best costume may get missed if you continually change your costume. Be aware that you can only change into F2P items on a F2P server.

This event sounds fun, I will try to attend. But I'm not sure if my outfit would be considered realistic or crazy :? . I guess I'll try to enter whichever category seems less full :P . Though, crazy sounds a bit more fun.

Fetal_Servitude: There is no reason that this would not be allwoed in RS, it contravenes no rules of Runescape or Tip.It. Thanks for your concern

Arcticrunite: Yes, all 4 are being judged at the same time.

See the rest of you there.
