The secret to flour in your kitchen.

Many people have noticed that the flour in the kitchen is worthless in the state that it is in right after it comes out of the larder. However, if you have a pot (or Teak Shelves 1 to grab a pot), you can drop the flour on the floor, then scoop it up with the pot to get an actually useable pot of flour!

So you can only get the flour in the pot by dropping it. This may be a bug, but this is the temporary solution.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

I bet Jagex failed their food hygiene exam.

So true.

On-topic: There are many slight bugs/glitches with the Houses, but they are too few and not that important to get angry. So as Kwimbob said it's a temporary fix because Jagex will undoubtedly fix all of their small errors in the next couple of weeks.

Yea, I mean, kudos to the team, construction must have taken some doing. There are bound to be a lot of bugs, I should think they will all be sorted in a month or so.

Well, I'm not gonna try it since it may be a bug.

What I think what's SUPPOSE to happen is that you use pot on the larder and it's suppose to be similar to the mansion north of Seers Village.

That's what I think is suppose to be happening.

It's not a bug, it's a solution to a bug :) . You can't use the pot on the larder, nothing interesting happens.

I'll just keep buying my flour from the Lumbridge bank and keep the pot for Ectofuncting my Dragon bones, it only costs a few gp so who cares?

Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?

Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you.

No, this isn't for getting mass flour or anything, lol. This is just so you can make a cake (for quests and such) solely in your house. You should've been able to, but you couldn't because of the little flour bug that was there. If you drop and scoop, though, you can still do it :)

I found that out the hard way.

After scrounging my bank to find something of worth to sell for a few GP since I had spent every DIME (or gold coin  ), I went to the general store and purchased 5 cake pans in hopes of making a few cakes for some exp since they require level 40 cooking to bake.

Okay, 40 cooking, that should give some good experience.

*Proceeds to tele back to house*

Okay, so after clicking on my larder fifty thousand billion tiems to get 5 of each of the three cake ingredients, I go to add the flour to my cake pan.

...

Nothing happens. I check the cooking guide because I'm a BOOB and didn't know how to make cakes.

Okay, I seem to be doing it right...I think.

*Tries again*

Nothing interesting happens.

Then something interesting DID happen. I teled, dropped all of the developing chickens, my cow liquids in wooden cylidrical storage units, and my STUPID flour.

Then I went to chop some oaks. I accumulated 1k before giving them away to some guy who said he was nearing 58 construction and was cutting some oaks to get him there. He was taking my tree so I gave him my 1k oaks and a swift kick in the butt.

Then I went to the teak trees and I haven't left since.

Fin.
