pt_PLUTO
I was looking at my character from the front...I always thought it looked empty...It's just where the armor overlaps...and i thought, "Wow a belt with some sort of bonus could go there." I wasnt sure what the bonuses could be but I just would wonder...Post if u agree and think of different bonuses! :-k WORKING FOR 70 MAGE...200-300 Pest ControlsDesert Treasure
SaidinWoT
They would have to remake the armor equipment page, alter the graphics for numerous armors, and then finally make the actual belts. While belts have some plausible possibilities, it seems like all the purposes of a belt could be put into a ring or an amulet, which would save them from all that recoding. So, while I think belts could be useful, I don't think JAGeX would ever actually put them in :( As to possibilities: Belts could be encrusted with gem(s) which could in turn be enchanted to alter the bonuses of the belt. With a limit of 5 possible gems added to the belt, you could enchant each gem, adding stat bonuses to the belt. You would have to enchant each gem separately, using the appropriate spell. Sapphire: Attack Magic +3 Defense Magic +3 Emerald: Attack Crush +1 Stab +1 Slash +1 Defence Crush +3 Stab +3 Slash +3 Ruby: Attack Crush + 2 Stab +2 Slash +2 Defence None Strength Bonus +2 Diamond: Attack All Bonuses +3 Defence All Bonuses +3 Dragonstone: Attack All Bonuses +4 Defence All Bonuses +4 Prayer Bonus +1 Strength Bonus +5 Onyx: Attack All Bonuses +6 Defence All Bonuses +7 Prayer Bonus +3 Strength Bonus +8 However, with 7,776 possbilities to code in, I don't think they'd go for it. sligo
I like this idea. Yeah, it would take some graphical re-working, but here are a couple things you could do with it: 1. Money pouch - a place to carry money not in your backpack. Might also be able to put some cut gems there as well. (In other words, a plausible alternative to increasing backpack space, which is something Jagex refuses to do) 2. Sheath - Be able to carry an additional weapon not in your inventory. To switch weapons, right click on it and select Wield. If it is in the wield position, right click on it and select sheath. 3. And, just for fun: Smith yourself a belt buckle. If you choose "Texas style" you get a belt buckle the size of a trash-can lid and it actually gives you a defensive bonus. Requires crafting to put it on. One final note: you should be able to make your belt out of any kind of leather. Requires sheers, needle and thread, and a new tool - an awl (to punch the holes). The skill level requirements would be one level easier than vambraces for the corresponding leather type. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant. Genoraven
instead of belts there could be like tassets. Tassets would fit with the arrmor perfectly. Rubber chicken, you're the one,who makes Runescape, so much fun!Would be fun if jagex brought in biological warfare... Or even Tesla coils. I like to eat cake while excruciating! Zaaps1
I was thinking you could use the metals. So.... lvl1 defence-Basic Belt lvl1 def- Bronze Belt lvl1 def- Iron Belt lvl5 def- Steel Belt Lvl10 def- Black Belt (lol, what wacky outfits can you make with this?) lvl15 def- Mithril Belt lvl 20 def- adament Belt lvl 40 def- Runite Belt Also you can stud the belts with cut gems fir the extra decaration. Heres a pic I made of the Belts (they're all in order that I said above) wearing a belt, note that the take out option means to take out a stored weapon loaded in the belt, also note that the 1 more option is to remove the rune scimitar from the take out list. There are 5 slots in the list and can hold any item, weapons, runes, staffs, bows, even food. EDIT- The Slot shown with the bluerite sword, maple bow, etc. will always stay in that position as long as the belt is on. The slot can be removed by using an option by right clicking the belt on the equips page. If you die with your belt on, and you keep your belt the most expensive item in you belt also stays. If you wish to eat a lobby, or use runes (like in the picture shown) you must withdraw it first. Also there is a withdraw X button to make it faster to withdraw multiple items. i realize the pictures arnt great but its a start. giligansisle
maybe each belt could have more space for a gem, item space, or more money. leather holds: 1 gem slot 1 item slot 1k coins made with a leather belt (u) (u for unfinished) and a bronze buckle snakeskin holds: 1 gem slot 2 item slots 5k coins made with a snakeskin belt (u) (u for unfinished) and an iron buckle green dragonhide holds: 2 gem slots 2 item slots 10k coins made with a green dragonhide belt (u) (u for unfinished) and a steel buckle blue dragonhide holds: 3 gem slots 3 item slots 25k coins made with a blue dragonhide belt (u) (u for unfinished) and a mithril buckle red dragonhide holds: 4 gem slots 4 item slots 100k coins made with a red dragonhide belt (u) (u for unfinished) and an adamant buckle black dragonhide holds: 5 gem slots 5 item slots infinite amount of coins made with a black dragonhide belt (u) (u for unfinished) and a runite buckle Each belt will have defencive bonuses in everything and an attack bonuse in range, every asscending belt will have more of an increase. i'll post again with more l8r type this in your url or copy or watever, but u must see this... a better bank format!!!http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351049

erustad
good idea, but i notice in your picture, it has 21 lobbs... which means that you could keep fishing ans fishing and never stop even to go to bank, then to cook you would just have 2 space, 1 for cooked and one for raw... this would mean you could carry infinite of those things. that would not be good. in wildy, pkers would never die... now if it was limited, it might work. i think that the belt should have slots for pickaxe, hatchet, fishing equipment(one kind), hammer, knife and chisel, and that should be it. all the stuff you need to do basically any skill. (sorry but I just hear it al the time and it bothers me) To be truthful, the only "Cowboy" I've ever known that had a huge "trash-can lid" belt buckle was from Indiana. He just wanted everyone to think he was from Texas. It's been over 20 years since I've seen him, but I remember his belt buckle was about 6-8 inches across and 4-6 inches tall. This just goes to show - there's more than corn in Indiana. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.
