My first fakes' =) [Text]

The day the legendary ring of revenge was released as a monster drop will be one remembered forever in RuneScape history. The fabled ring was a possible drop from any random monster. The odds of getting one? Astronomical. One in a million.

I managed to get my hands on one.

An hour later, Jagex deleted them all, as they were deemed overpowered by players. But not before I had sold mine for a hefty sum!

These are my two best (and only) fakes to date! I put a lot of time and effort into them, so please rate 1 - 10 on their quality. Your responses in themselves are all I really ask :D

Note: This did not actually happen, no ring was ever released and then taken away.

A ring of revenge is a fictional ring that acts as a ring of recoil, only it never breaks and has a 15% effect, not 10%. My own invention :D

Looks good, not very hard, but lined the text up perfect, and the background mixtrure under the letters is good too.

Maybe show the previous screen instead, with the ring actually shown, people would prefer to see it rather than look at some text saying it's name.

EDIT: Better?

Space between "150" and "million" if off, and there's a black line in the "R" in Revenge, but other then that, not bad.

It was mentioned earlier, but apparently not taken into account. You say you sold it, but it looks an awful lot like You're buying it. switch the sides of the text.

I have changed around the picture. It was meant to be from the point of view of the person who was buying it, but people didn't seem to understand that, so I just went ahead and changed it :wink:

Text looks a bit blury and is easy to distinguish from the real one. Although it is similar and is better then some other text fakes around :).

Keep in mind I have a horrible computer, with a very limited virtual capability. So my pictures show up differently on other peoples computers then on my own. #-o

Not bad, a good start for a new faker. I agree with nearly everything that everyone else has said...Meaning gradually move on to bigger and better things, and also the confusion with you being the buyer or seller. And an actual picture of the ring could be incorporated into your next fake, if you want. (And the shadow on the capital "R"s are messed up, I think. There's a space between the black line and the orange text.)

Only because of simplicity and minor errors, you get a 6/10. Otherwise, I like them!

The shadows are out on the writing, but apart from that it looks good.

The "Ring of Revenge" text looks a bit faded than the other text, but other than that pretty good. 6/10 (I'll give you an 8/10 if I get to see the ring :wink: )

The "Ring of Whatever" looks very blurry and not at all like the text below it. Try sharpening it up a bit...

Care to recommend something?

The problem is, I don't know the color that Jagex have for the text. I could only hunt in paint for the closest counterpart.
