Speed Pixel Challenge - VOTE

Been rather busy in real life and such, and I've really been itching to try out a bit of pixelling. Fortunately, term break has just started down here in New Zealand, so I'm ready to dust off my 1px pencil tool.

It's not that big a battle, hopefully (and I wanted to beat everyone to the first battle topic, haha). I'm also pretty keen to figure out a system for battles in the future - this is a kind of a test run. :)

Battle Information:

Type: Pixel

Opponents needed: One

Size: Up to 100x100 (avatar size), can be smaller

Theme: Water

Time Limit: 1 hour (time starts from when the battle is accepted)

Other: No prizes at the moment, but suggestions are welcome. :)

Feel free to post WIPs, but that really isn't necessary. :D Start from scratch, if you will - let's make it fair and within the time limit. :)

Good luck, I'd love to do a nice quick pixel. :D Personally, the pixel I make here will just be given away. :)

g'day faelenof! I'd do this, but can't, unfortunately. I just got outa hospital cause i have a blood clot in my lung, and am now behind in university work/assignments. Otherwise, i'd take this up and give it a go.

All i can say is goodluck, hope ya find a challanger, and no cheating! :lol: :P

ill maybe enter if i can find someone that has about the same "level" with pixeling as me so i'll see wo enters more :P

On another note. A free choice of topic in a speedcontest is kind of dodgy. Since anyone could make anything ahead of the start of the timer.

Going to have to disregard everyone that posted above though, as I'm not sure whether or not you're online right now.

Not accusing anyone of anything, me and you just have a different perception of speed pixeling, no offence was ment by anything. I was just playing around more than anything. And sorry about the he / she thing I never even pay attention to gender seem to always just write he naturally , really sorry about that. Great pixeling!

I think I'll close the poll now - thanks for participating in the guinea-pig test for the battles, Dibsen. :D I reckon 10 or 15 votes should stop a battle, so it doesn't go on for too long. Suggestions? We do want to know how we can create some sort of point scheme - post here with your idea so you can help the Gallery mods out. :D

I think it's just because something like 85% of the people who play Runescape are male. So if you're going to guess one or the other, you'll more often be correct if you go with 'he' :D -points to my gender icon- And yet I still get called 'he' a lot of the time!
