[hide=F2P Pures]

Strength Pure

Attack: Ideal for F2P, why get a higher attack for nothing but more accuracy, you can have higher hits at a lower combat w/ it at a steady 40. Only increase if going to P2P.

Strength: This is how hard you hit, deffinatly max this out. With 99 str you will be able to hit 24's or very close to that very often. 27 with prayer.

Defense: Keep this at 1... It will be tireing and stressful with all the training it takes but its well worth it in the end. This keeps your combat lower, if you must raise it, wait till your str and range are well high enough to make up for it.

Range: Being a strength pure this is deffinatly a must. Get this up to at least 40 for dragonhide.

Mage: A minimum of 60 mage is a must also. This will give you the best F2P spell and also some high mage defense. Start with 60 then max this until your about to combat lvl.

Prayer: I wouldnt reccomend this until you have a very high str/range and are at 40 defense. 44 is a nice lvl to keep this at

HP: Will be what it is.

Pkin

Strength pures are pretty much the easiest to pk with. Not much to worry about. Pick a target and attack, watch HP and stay alive. Thats about it. But remember the PK Triangle.

Strength Pure (Prayer)

Attack: Ideal for F2P, why get a higher attack for nothing but more accuracy, you can have higher hits at a lower combat w/ it at a steady 40. Only increase if going to P2P.

Strength: This is how hard you hit, deffinatly max this out. With 99 str you will be able to hit 24's or very close to that very often. 27 with prayer.

Defense: Keep this 1. Don't ever train it unless becoming P2P. Combat will fly up if this goes up.

Range: Again, 40 range will allow you to wear dragonhide. This is a better defence than iron and also provides mage defense.

Mage: 60... If a mage cant hit you... Well, thats a good thing! Raising mage without a combat lvl gained is always a good idea. It raises your mage defense.

Prayer: This is the whole point of this pure. Prayer will raise your attack and your strength lvl by 15%, that means at 99 str you will be hitting like its lvl 113! Get prayer to 34.

HP: Will be what it is.

Pkin

Pking is basicaly the same as a strength pure, the only diffence is that you will be using Incredible Reflexes and Ultimate Strength durring combat.

Range Pure

Attack: No need for attack, your a pure ranger.

Strength: Well... If you dont have attack... Why get strength?

Defense: Yea, again. Dont get it.

Range: Well... no need for range either... Wait? Yea, get this maxed out, your a pure ranger, duh!

Mage: Well... You will want to get this as high up as you can also. Doing so will give you HP and mage defense.

Prayer: Some say 44 but i say no. This will raise your combat by a lot, and being a range pure you dont want that.

HP: Will be what it is.

Rest Lobs/Swordies

Pkin

A pure ranger is a long range person. When you see someone in full wiz then you most likely have a kill. Other than that, if you see someone and atttack them, keep your distance. A mele will destroy you at a higher lvl, bind when needed and take them down with addy arrows.

Mage Pure

Attack: No need for attack, your a pure mage.

Strength: Well... If you dont have attack... Why get strength?

Defense: Yea, again. Dont get it.

Range: Range will be needed for HP. Get it as high as you can without lvling combat.

Mage: Get mage to 60. In F2P the best spell you can have is achieved at lvl 59. Why get anymore?

Prayer: 1... Point blank.

HP: Will be what it is.

Stats:

1 Attack

1 Strength

Rest Lobs/Swordies

Pkin

As a mage you will be mostly after the warriors. Your spells will do high dammage against people with armors on. Look for them but look out for rangers, they will be great harm to you. Bind warriors then fire blast them till death. If they get un-binded, just re-bind.

2H/Range Hybrid

Attack: Like many other pures, needed for Rune weapons in F2P.

Strength: As a 2H hybrid your strength will need to be whatever it is to stay range based, dont go overboard but keep it high.

Defense: 1. Many pures are like this.

Range: One of the main styles of combat of this hybrid. Get it maxed out.

Mage: Again, you can get mage as high as range without lvling your combat. Get to 60+.

Prayer: Not needed for this type of pure.

HP: Will be what it is.

Stats:

40 Attack

55+ Strength

1 Defense

75+ Range

[hide=P2P Pures]

Rune Pure

Attack: Members, the best weapon you should have for this pure is achieved at lvl 60. Stop there for now.

Strength: Strength is very important, max out.

Defense: Rune pure means you will be wearing rune. Get to 40 by questing. See Quest Exp. (http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=560970)

Range: Another major stat in this pure. Get high as possible.

Mage: Mage is always good, for the defense it gives, and the spells. Get 85 for TB.

Prayer: 52. Very good spot for this pure.

HP: Will be what it is.

Stats:

60 Attack

90+ Strength

40 Defense

90+ Range

85+ Mage

Are you talking about the basics, like strength, ranged, and magic pures, or the subclasses within them? For example, prayer beasts. There are also the common ranged/2her, ranged/mager (these succeed at lower lvls, maybe ~10-40), and less common melee/mager.

I didn't go into details b/c I wasn't sure if I was thinking of the right kind of pures. I can explain a few of them if you'd like.

Prayer Beast

Attack: Don't raise it a level higher than 40.

Strength: Max out to desired combat level (use this calc, helps get an idea of what your hp will be). Make sure it correlates with your prayer, you want to have the minimum strength level needed + ultimate strength to get the next high hit. This minimizes combat. Check out Tip.it's Max Hit Calculator, input your strength and prayer, and test it to see what the next high hit will be at whatever strength level you choose. This is really important for training.

Defense: 1.

Range: Personally, I'd say keep it at 1. Why? Sure, dhide is good protection from magic, but the hp xp really isn't worth it, even for 40 ranged. The extra hp level increases combat, and you want to keep cb as low as possible. Getting ranged on a non-hybrid is pretty much a waste of time anyway since there are no mages after 45 combat.

Mage: Up to you. Either don't bother and save a little cash or, if tanks are on your nerves lately, rack it up to 59+ for f blast. Personally I wouldn't bother.

Prayer: Well this is the fundamental aspect of the prayer beast! There are two options you have, 31 or 34. Some people I've talked to said the extra 3 lvls are worth the better accuracy, and it's only a one level difference. But if you're borderline on combat, you might want to keep it at 31.

HP: Like I said, you may want to keep this low, it depends if you like more HP or not so you're harder to KO. This stat can be ignored until your strength training is done, from which you can or decide not to customize it with ranged and magic experience.

Stats:

40 Attack

MAXED Strength

1 Defense

1 or 40 Ranged

1 or 59+ Magic

31 or 34 Prayer

Equipment:

Iron Full Helm or Nothing - Really up to you here. I hate the look of iron helm alone, just looks weird to me.

Monk Top

Monk Bottom or Dragonhide Chaps - Check Ranged section above.

Leather Boots

Leather Gloves

Rune Scimitar

Ruby Amulet of Strength

Inventory:

R2H

Strength Potion

26 Lobsters

Lastly, never:

-Teleport - It's shameful. No, seriously. Please do not do this. Do not tele to save 80k. You'll be a better person for doing it.

-Protect Items - I wouldn't, unless your opponent does.

-PJ - Speaks for itself.

Hope this helps someone and happy to contribute. :)

Attack afar with range and continue to do so. when your opponent has less than ~14 hp pull out r2h after your last range attack and hit for a KO. Potting should be done in the middle of the fight so that you dont lose too many added strength levels.

A rune pure gets 45 def for a torso. And they have 70+ attack for a whip <_< A 'perfect' rune pure is 99-99-45-99-99-99-52 ASDHRMP

Aint that a zerker pure... =P

they are basically the same thing really

and yes, a rune pure should gt 70+ attack for whip and in some cases a dharoks axe for K0s if they have no spec (ive seen it a few times, normally works well)

I'm gonna be walking down an alley in varrock, and walka is going to walk up to me in a trench coat and say "psst.. hey man, wanna buy some sara brew"

walka92- retired with 99 in attack, strength, defence, health, magic, ranged, prayer and herblore and 137 combat. some day i may return to claim 138 combat, but alas, that time has not yet come

You got no idea what your talking about, for example you say get mage to 59 then no higher and say why would you need it higher..

Simple, to hit more, the higher the mage lvl the more often you hit, at lvl 59 magic you are about 34 combat, no one worth pking at that lvl, my pure mage is 45 combat with 70 magic, and i get heaps of kills, couse i hit a lot and people have better stuff at that lvl.

Why would a ranger need att or str? to ko with rune 2h, not very easy to ko when your max hit is less then a swordfish heals.

Get experience with pking before you start making guides about it
