Basically the rules are, you attach a song to a predetermined tag over the course of 30 days. Who's in? Start at day one, and update as you go. Obviously some of us will be ahead of others, but hey. It's a great way to find some new music right? The rules:post one song per day day 01 - your favorite songday 02 - your least favorite songday 03 - a song that makes you happy day 04 - a song that makes you sadday 05 - a song that reminds you of someoneday 06 - a song that reminds you of somewhereday 07 - a song that reminds you of a certain event day 08 - a song that you know all the words today 09 - a song that you can dance today 10 - a song that makes you fall asleep day 11 - a song from your favorite band day 12 - a song from a band you hate day 13 - a song that is a guilty pleasure day 14 - a song that no one would expect you to love day 15 - a song that describes you day 16 - a song that you used to love but now hate day 17 - a song that you hear often on the radioday 18 - a song that you wish you heard on the radioday 19 - a song from your favorite albumday 20 - a song that you listen to when you're angry day 21 - a song that you listen to when you're happyday 22 - a song that you listen to when you're sadday 23 - a song that you want to play at your weddingday 24 - a song that you want to play at your funeralday 25 - a song that makes you laughday 26 - a song that you can play on an instrumentday 27 - a song that you wish you could playday 28 - a song that makes you feel guiltyday 29 - a song from your childhood day 30 - your favorite song at this time last year Day 01: Favorite Song....tough choice. Literally hundreds of options, but this has been my default answer since last decade, and I might as well stick by it. I may not love them as much as I once did [for the love of god, please return to your roots] but this still holds the title of my favorite song ever. But as i understand it: If this starts today (1) i post for example Rammstein - Haifisch (listening to it atm) and tomorrow i post another song for day 2's tag. Yes, no? I'll just do two now to catch up. Day 1: Favorite Song Way too hard to post my favorite song of all time so I'll just post a song from probably my favorite band of all time that I feel is probably their best. I like the demo version of this better than the actual release. So intense. Day 2: Least favorite song I want to inflict violence on people whenever I hear this song. Because it jacked the riff from Sweet Home Alabama, is by Kid Rock who I don't really like anyway, and is just a dumb song. Great, I'm already stuck at the first day. There's many songs that I absolutely love, but because I don't want to go with a depressing song (I really like ballads and depressing songs, it seems), I'll pick by the Raconteurs, a nice upbeat song. Other songs on the shortlist, which may be more deserving from an objective point of view were (Metallica), (Slipknot) and (Eric Clapton), among others. The thing that really pushed me over the edge is that Salute Your Solution really got me into indie/garage/alternative rock, that and the fact that I didn't want to list a sad song as my favorite. Day 2: Least favorite song. The one that came to mind at first was Friday (Rebecca Black), but thinking a bit further brought me to by the Scissor Sisters. I've hated this song ever since it came out and the fact that it was played so much just made it worse. Day 3: A song that makes me happy. There are many songs that make me happy, but I think my favorite out of those is by the Beatles. Other songs on this shortlist: (the Fratellis), (My Chemical Romance) and (the Raconteurs).
