Hate to bother you again... and i know this will sound like im trying to take advantage of you making these, but im not.. I just had another idea. If you get the extra time, and you like this idea.. Instead of doing the girl, could you do a blonde guy? same hat, with that logo if possible. Could his face be tilted down, so his eyes are kinda shadowed or something similar? (whichever you rekon looks better, if your doing it). lightly tanned skin, muscly kinda guy. Preferably no cigars/cigarettes or anything.. anyway, ill quit wasting space in your thread, thanks for reading this again -Shadow

looking great so far, blazer. instead of trying to attempt to explain what i mean, cause id confuse everyone including myself, i took it into paint... the two red lines are where I would make modifications to. The right arm looks perfect to me. the head may be a little small.. but if I were you, id try adding a bit more bulk to the neck. from the back body-builders tend to have a lot of muscles very near to/in the neck (correct me if im wrong) and at the moment, to me, the neck looks too thin. also with the left armpit (our left) the angle dosnt seem steep enough (as shown with the red line) The parts where you've put the darker colour to show where the muscles looks good to me (especially on the right arm (our right)) sorry if you completly disagree with this post blazer.. just trying to help/give my opinion :wink: goodluck, looking forward to seeing the finished picture

I agree with flamer. Don't flame. its rude, self-centered and pointless. Yeah, you may not like a piece of work. Yeah, buddies are simple. But if you don't like it, DON'T POST! no matter how much you flame, people are still going to keep comming back to tip.it with buddies. get over it!

Hey GS! that Bloodveld is cool ! I like the technique you used to do it :) anyway.. not sure if you'll like this idea or anything.. but ill post it anyway -A blonde girl (teenager) with very long hair that is loose (as in waist length, though I know your only doing neck + head) with lighter blonde streaks at the front edge of the hair (the fringe is the same length as the rest of the hair) Also, if possible, could you do a black trucker cap with a white foam front, and black mesh back. And could you put this logo; on the white front of the hat? If you could do this, i'd love ya forever :wink: though im sure you hear that a lot lol. I ADORE that sig! I love marine animals :wink: if ever i get enough $$$ ill be making a trip to Canada to see the orcas! We went on a holiday a little while ago, and I got to feed the bottle-nose dolphins! yeah! there was even a 4 day old baby with its mother that turned up for feeding sorry ill stop spamming your post :wink: but if you definately didnt want this sig, id take it :D but yeah.. i dont wanna sound greedy or demanding, so sorry if i did. i just love this sig. The proportions are great, and i love the way the light shines through and shines on the dolphins :) anyway.. sorry again... ill quit spamming

lookin good :wink: theres only two problems i see at the moment.. as random said, the character leaning on the building looks rushed... also, i had to read every ones posts to figure out what was in the water :shock: nice idea with that though :wink: my suggestion would also be to add a couple of palm trees (probably 2) on the island to the left of the siggie. otherwise, awesome :wink: im a fan of your grass.. and i dont see a problem with the ramp comming off the dock- looks good to me! good luck with your other sigs :) -Shadow

new update. two versions, one with a 'creek' and one without. keep in mind there are no trees/huts or farms cause i wanna keep the bg simple, to focus on Jesus and the cross. the whole lot is still a major wip, and i havnt changed the things such as putting the extra wood under Jesus's feet. comments appreciated, and please state which version you prefer. (i took a screenshot of the pictures side by side in ps so i wouldnt have to upload two pictures) cheers, Shadow

unfortunately i havnt done any more work on this.. I severly dislike the background, and Id like to use my original picture (and not make it larger.) but i hcant think of a suitable background that i can put behind it. the cloud ide didnt work.. Ideas would be helpful and ill put the wedge of wood under his feet, thanks for commenting

Another update. Im not to sure if I like how the background is going, or if I should just leave it so that the picture is Just of Jesus on the cross, Maybe with a simple cloud background made in PS. ideas are welcome.. still a major WIP (I apologize if its too big)

heres another update... I repositioned the cross, the nails in the wrists and ankles, I changed the colour of the wreathe around his neck, so it looks more like thorns, I havnt gotten to teh stage of adding blood yet. Any more CC is welcome.

Could people please stop attempting to start aguments? The green headband was supposed to be the crown of thorns lol... Id better make it browner, and [bleep]ey'er.. Ill probably update the picture this afternoon/tonight. I leave school early, so I whould hopefully be able to get a bit done :wink:

I shall fix the ankle bit :shock: i was wondering why it looked weird... maybe cause its missing a main bit :shock: and ball of pain, you eat corn flakes at 8:44pm?! :shock: (lol yeah, i know.. time difference. im just being an idiot :wink: how unusual..)

yeah :wink: im going to move the nails to go through the wrists, and ill fix up the ribs.. as you said, ill leave the colour as the darker version... lol... I was going to add blood. I just havnt gotten around to it yet. I did not post this thread to ask whether you were a believer or not, and I definately did not ask for you to insult and offend me and the others browsing these forums who do believe. I made the title 'Christian WIP' so that people knew what it was about to start with, before they even entered the thread. So if you were just going to insult me and everyone else, why did you even come into this topic? I would appreciate it if you left this thread and didnt post again, so that this dosn't get locked, because all I am asking for is advice on my work. No, I havn't been on these forums for a while. Ive just hit grade 12 (last year) and the workload has increased. I need top scores to get the university course I want.... but thats off topic. Ive returned temporarily :) And yes, im a christian. The reason that I decided to do this picture is because of some things that happened at my Youth group on friday night, and its related to the things that our main leader said. ok.. ive had some ideas on what Im going to do. The part that you've seen so far will be in the center of the overall picture. On the left I will be doing another cross (sillouetted) and another on the right. All three will be on a wide bit of 'cliff' (the top of the cliff) and in the background the sun will be setting/almost dark.. i didnt explain that very well but i know what i mean :wink: Ill also add that ive got to add the advice that you all gave me :D such as put the nails through the ankle and wrists, the ribs... I coloured this part before I had the chance to check back here. thanks for all teh advice so far! update: *note- i havnt done the face etc. still working on it. *edit:which do you prefer? light version or dark? and when ive finished this, if anyone actually likes it, they can feel free to use it for wallpapers or whatever. but i would not appreciate it if you went around saying you made it... Also, this is pretty much the first time ive used PS to make brushed pictures... so yeah... if its bad, i cant help it. dont have much practice :wink:

14 colours. first time ive tried to use limited colours

I thought of a good idea! i think anyway... ive tried to pixel it myself a number of times before, but i always mess it up.. A female teenager (long blond hair, almost to the waist) leaning against a tree, with her knees slightly bent. There is a small, grey tiger kitten on her lap (the kitten has white front paws and white back legs, and a white belly) Another cat (grey tiger- grey with dark grey stripes- adult) is sitting next to the girl. The girl is reaching up slightly, to 'hold' the head of a pegasus (white horse with wings) which is standing in front of her, wings folded, head bent towards the girl. (**note** the pegasus could be laying down beside the girl, with its head resting in the girls lap. the kitten could be asleep on the pegasus's body, and the adult cat is still sitting beside the girl.) Im not too sure on the background.. kinda grassy, like in a green paddock (not fenced), and its tranquil. there could be a herd of horses/pegasus's in teh distance or something.. im not sure hope you like my idea :) ive always admired your work; awesome quality, and you always do interesting ideas.

as i said in the original post, this is just a WIP. i just did the basic shape of the cross. as soon as i start detailing, i will make the cross like grainy old wood, with chips missing. thanks for the comments so far
