  1. Apocalypse. Since the nail prices are 1 gp more, the construction freaks of RS will riot and overthrow the GE demanding the prices be lowered back to normal.
  2. I agree. The people who can somehow have better stats than me, play in a world limited to only a small portion of the P2P world, and still manage with only like 60 bank spaces. I have like 380 items in my bank and I don't know how F2p'ers can limit themselves to only 60 spaces. My armor takes like 60 spaces lol.
  3. Wrong, you still have to talk to them, be a bit strange jsut giving them 30gp without saying anything. Wrong, You must be a noob. Because on my main... I just have to press pay fare but my noob needs to talk to them when he press pay fare. If you haven't done pirate treasure then you can't pay immediately. #1. Function keys can be used to access one of your tabs in the corner. i.e. F1 accesses your attack modes. #2. A SHARK weighs only 1kg while a metal bar weighs much more. #3. Barbarian fishing gives hands immune to any fish bite. If you were to try to catch a shark with your hands, they would just get bitten off. #4. Do you know why Bob's name is Bob? Because in ScapeRune, since everything is backwards, Bob is the only name in the English Language, a common name that is, that is the same when reversed. #5. The Wise Old Man still hasn't been arrested for robbing that bank. And he lives right next door! #6. When you eat food, you LOSE weight. Funny. #7. When you eat cabbage, it says "Yuck!" After a few cabbages, it becomes to get tastier. I don't know if it's still like that. #8. The cabbage in Draynor Maynor taste better and give +1 defense. #9. Cook, a word that used to be censored, outraged many people and there were tons of rants and discussions about it. #10. A commonly known one. Fook A Ji, a member of the tip.it community, created one of the biggest Runescape conspiracies in history. There was a farm supposedly underground that was accessed by using a diamond(?) on a tree that led to a secret underground city, which he used to scam people I think. This idea was later used by Jagex to create the Lost City. #11. Back in Runescape Classic, the distance from towns were shorter. In Rs2, they introduced players being able to run, therefore making the distances from cities, longer. #12. In Runescape Classic, you were allowed to duel anywhere you wanted to. But when you died, you were teleported to Lumbridge, lol. #13. The four levels of the Stronghold of Security were based on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. They were known as Pestilence, Famine, War, and Death, which are the names of the levels. #14. Some time ago, Jagex moderators could not be whacked with chickens, and if you attempted to, you would get a warning message. This feature was later removed, and now mods are fully whackable, though some say they do not hear the whack, this has not been confirmed. #15. I think this is a cool one. If you take all the first letters from the wilderness cape merchant's names it will spell the word "Wilderness". #16. The most important item in Runescape Classic? Your sleeping bag. #17. The 100th quest, Recipe for Disaster, contains exactly 10 parts(The first being the part where you help the cook prepare for the dinner. Then the 8 sub-quests where you free all of the frozen people, and then the final part with the fights), 10 gloves that you can purchase, and yields 10quest points. #18. Coal certs were the only possible way of trading coal in RSC. Each cert yielded 8 coal and no one would buy them in non-cert form. #19. There was no news page for runescape classic. You had to have friends who knew of events that were taking place. That's why I missed the 2002 holiday drops D:. #20. In Runescape Classic, you were not able to move your camera up or down. Only side to side. #21. You can sell beer glasses to the Falador Pub for 2gp a glass. I think it's 2gp. #22. When agility was first being released, the image they used to describe it was a picture of a guy jumping off a bridge. Me and my friends thought that would be a really cool and practical skill that would enable us to take much less time to travel. Some fun facts I thought of. PS: I admit to have thought that Runescape was Run Escape when I first played. I even made jokes about it when I was little, "Hey Chris(my bro), lets play, RUN! Escape!" Ah... Good times... #18. The most popular hair color in Runescape Classic was light blue, since it resembled the color of rune.
  4. Sorry but I like to play my games, not work on them. If you consider a game work you shouldn't be playing it. Move on or stop complaining, this isn't rants. The whole point of runescape is work/grind, so yeah, stop playing MMORPGS if you don't find it fun or play some mini games And I disagree. The whole point of MMORPG's is not to grind. The point is to make interactions with other players, make friends, chat, have fun. It seems your priorities on Runescape may be a little off.
  5. Well, I haven't been able to resist the urge of quitting. I have quit many times and returned just as many. I've been playing for about 7 years now and when I first started, I continued to play for about 4 years. I loved how the game wasn't revolved around skilling and being the best. I had some really good friends whom I met over Runescape and played with for about 2 years since my start. They grew up, did their own thing and left. I continued on and drank tons of beer, wasting my days worth of GP that I got from killing guards and drank beer all day. Then it changed, and I wanted to be a high level. So for the past year or so is when I actually started to skill and get good at the game. I guess the moral of the story is that the reason why so many people quit is because they lost the point of the game. Jagex didn't intend the game to be a pure skilling and noob-callers turf. But in the favor of the people who wanted change, Rs2 was born. I was fine with Rs1 and I favored it more. I had x10 more fun in Rs1 than Rs2. But then again, I was only like 8 and I didn't really know "fun". Most people get tired of doing the same thing over and over for hours. That's what I think the reason for most of the people quitting is. And back on topic. They shouldn't have this many frequent updates. Most good games require tons of time and effort into making a quest. Runescape has lost its touch IMO and they need to work on quality, not quantity. There is only a handful of people who's finished most quests and I think Jagex needs to make the quests better and things. And for the other miscellaneous updates, Jagex should work on making them top-notch. Runescape is boring as it is for many people, so they should work on the quality of their updates. I think it should take them a couple weeks to actually balance these things out. They are being so hasty and in doing so, may imbalance things and get tons of complaints. Lot's of people thought and still think godswords are OP and in my opinion they are. If a weapon can do more than 3/4's of someone's hp, something is wrong. Also the d claws are pretty OP in my opinion as well. I was doing Barrows the other day, and I saw a guy run into TORAG's base. (Remember his armour is supposed to be the best of barrows, defense wise). He ran into Torag's tomb. Opened it. Two specs, and he was down. I literally dropped my mouth and was like, "WTF?!". I didn't really know what to say to that kind of power. But yeah.....
  6. How would that be possible? Maybe there is a way to recode it into a program. That could improve graphics by a lot and make it easier to access.
  7. Hmm, maybe the new quest will require you turn in tons of junk that has been acquired over years such as the glass after beers, unused thread, and the other tons of things I'm too lazy to think of, and in turn, you get some QP's and cash.

I can't even get on. Plus it's against the rules to post messages from jagex and stuff. But it's 100% true.

Why are the mods there so effin gay. They piss the hell out of me. They act mature but when I type one thing on there, they piss their pants and lock the [cabbage] up. Here's the story. I, out of the blue, decide to check back onto the RS site to check out the new updates since I've been on my leave for a couple of days. Headstory of the site: RANT FORUM IZ BAKKK. I was like oh hell naw... Anyways. I decide to see what the mindless baboons of the RSOF were saying. To my dismay, the first page was filled with spam. So I check out one and someone decided to report a glitch. I make a sort of humorous, joking comment. His problem was that his inventory was getting filled with steel meds. So I decide to just say, "Maybe you got hacked and someone put steel meds into your inventory every night while you slept to make you psycho." 2 minutes later. *Click onto a new post* *****MESSAGE: YOU HAVE BEEN BANNED TEMPORARILY FROM THE RSOF*******. When I saw that, I was like WTF... SHORT V. OF THE STORY: I get on the RSOF for 5 minutes and get banned from one humorous comment. My question is. Why? Why do they care about such little joking comments to the point where the moderators will just ban you??? I did no crime, yet I was punished for a small little comment that had no harm intended or done. Seriously, I get banned in 5 minutes from one comment. That is utter BS.
  10. I think it's fine, as long as it stays in the game. I've heard that a couple met in Runescape and got married... :wall: Runescape is a roleplaying game, and as long as it doesn't get to the point where it gets out of hand and its all for fun, then it's fine.
  11. Well, just to correct you on one thing. Newb is someone who is a new person. A noob is someone who has been playing but is ignorant. That's how I see it. But back on topic. We are mean because we are human. Why do seniors bully freshmen? Because they are the new people. They are naturally scared and even though the seniors were there before, they bully, and the freshmen will probably bully when they are seniors. It's just natural.
  12. You better be sorry!!!

Very nice. I liked the pictures even though I have no idea who Pai Mei is. Funny too :P. I think mages should get a counter like "Strength" for melee. Not the skill Strength but the Strength bonus. Mages could get Spell power, which could be raised by Enchanting yourself with a new spell, maybe about 4 ranks requiring higher levels in Magic and better runes along with maybe a new rune(?) of enchanting possibly, or just requiring some random runes. Enchantments: Basically, you use one of four elemental runes to enchant yourself. With that, you can increase your spellpower for that element. For Ancients and Lunar you could just use Deaths and Bloods and Astral, respectively. Enchanting would last for a good 10-15 minutes and can be only casted on yourself. Only able to cast one Enchantment at once, this could increase your spell power which like the strength bonus increases your damage capabilities. Spell power can also be obtained by weapons and shields such as mind and elemental shields perhaps, just like strength bonus. So instead of just mage gear offering accuracy, it could offer a better damage. Just a suggestion, tweak it, whatever, do what you want with it. I agree with your rant though, and I do think magic is underpowered since they have basically no defense against melee and range except for prayer, but then you get the constant spam(mmm...) of noobs calling you a prayer noob. They are very supportive, I must add, being able to freeze targets while meleers can go in for the kill. And to the person who said mages were never meant for combat... Explain the combat triangle. They were meant for combat, it's just that in the midst of all this chaos that Jagex went through creating all this ridiculous junk for melee, they left the poor skill in the corner. Without magic, the combat triangle would be like a combat line. :o...
  14. I mean, there are 2 Green Dragon spots. But do both of them contain Baby Black Dragons.
  15. Do both places in the Chaos Tunnels contain Baby Black Dragons and Green Dragons?
  16. I plan on using Earth Bolt and Earth Strike, but I am confused on where I should train. I am going to first cast my 7k curses, which I need monsters with High Magic Def. And then I need monsters with low magic def. Any suggestions?
  17. How do you get to waterfiends? Map maybe would be helpful or explain how to get there.
  18. Add Dragon Full Helm. Mith dragons drop them, why not adamant dragons? Nice btw, I would go hunt them lol.
  19. I've never though of that, but now that you mentioned it, it sounds very promising. Support.
  20. If I remember the last two years in RSC, you had to be a [developmentally delayed] or a new player to get scammed. PK Pures barely existed. And they still insult everyone else on "first opportunity".
  21. Nty I've done like 20 runs with nothing. And I did it right.
  22. Based on my stats(sig) what can I do to make money. Anything, I just lost 6m and I want to get it back fast.
  23. Just take all your noted oak planks in your inventory with a saw and hammer. Regular Buter is perfectly fine as he returns before you finish making your larders andrequires 5k every 10-12 runs. Very effecient as I went from 43 to 50 in 1 hour.
  24. How did you exactly come up with that number? They can somehow manage to get 4 million members from 1.19 million members? I don't think so. And for this brilliant suggestion I present to thee... EPIC PHAILURE!!!!!!
  25. Stupid idea. I'm getting pretty sick of people demanding Runescape to be Candyland. Everything has warnings, even leaving the Duel Arena? What? Learn to PK with the risks or don't PK at all. Simple as that.
