I thought you eastern people make it up in the summer? I don't know the policy since im 3000 miles away. :razz: I'm not sure about the public schools, but the private school I go to makes it up on Saturdays. I do feel bad for all the people who are gonna have lots of makeup days from the snow days, you guys might end up in school until July :ohnoes: Sucks for them. The date my school gets out has been moved further a week but since i'm a senior and they won't move graduation I still get out of school on time.

Well if you choose to skip then there's always next year when you're a senior again. Take the tests and make up your work, if you don't pass the year then there will be no point in having skipped.

Actually, what he was arguing and I'm arguing are two different things. He is arguing about using polygamy for more than two consensual adults, while I'm arguing for two. Arguing for more than two is taking things too far off topic to be used as a defense, and your argument is an adult and a consensual object. You can't technically marry your keyboard, because it simply can't even sign the marriage license. I'm suggesting limits also, but those limits should be between two consensual adults, whether they be gay/lesbian/straight or any other. The reason I say this is because in polygamy, divorce and other legal benefits would be an issue that would be too confusing for things to work, while two consensual adults allow for both easy marriage, divorce and legal benefits to work out. Okay, so you got limits. That's good. As for homosexual marriage, I am heavily in favour for them to have legal rights the same as hetrosexual couples. But crying because some private institution (unless they get tax reductions, then [bleep] them) won't let them marry isn't what I want. Truthfully, now that I think about it, what the [bleep] is a marriage? Other than legalized benefits for taxes and such, couldn't a homosexual couple make a "mock" Christian wedding without actually "doing it in the name of God"? It's for looks rather than actual benefits. Then what are we arguing here? The right to conduct marriage ceremonies or the right for same legal rights as hetrosexuals? (this goes for the entire thread, not just you Rex, btw) Churches shouldn't have to preform homosexual marriage because of the 1st amendment thing. Though the same statement dispels any religious argument against homosexual marriage. And i'm pretty sure it's the rights, but when you say marriage you think of the event and the legal benefits. Really combine the 1st, 9th, and 14th amendments and it's already in the constitution. 1st is freedom from religion, stating we don't have to follow one religion and their rules, 9th is rights of the people not specifically stated in the constitution before that, while not defined I'm betting courts would find it tough to ignore "the pursuit of happiness" on the deceleration of independence, and of course 14th guarantees that people with United states Citizenship will all have the same rights.

Ahh the racial differences thing. The next generation of people probably won't have to deal with that as much, their parents(us), won't be racist. I know, mine are. It's not a racist thing what you are attracted to. You can't help it.

Yeah i've seen spoony before. He left out the mistake I made on my first try through the game. It is possible to screw yourself by the time you're at the space station. I used GFs through out the game and didn't really bother to ever level up, then I got to space/Ragnarok and couldn't pass it because my two characters were too weak and the monsters would 1 hit me and my GFs, I ended up having to restart the entire game, which was actually the better option because I missed out on a lot. He also never mentions if you draw Diablo's gravity spell and then cast it on him (draw-cast will always miss), he'll use curaga on you.)

I never understood why VIII was so good. VIII is my least favorite one. My favorite one landing on V.

The only big update that we know is coming for them too is the skill. Jagex could have completely hidden a future update without any hints there's no need for them to tell us everything. Also Jagex could be going back to the advertising p2p of f2p that we all know and love.

No. The Godwars dungeon specifically was where they fought over the god sword, a powerful blade that could of helped turn the tide of the war and they each made their own hilt for it. The godwars in general covered the entire world and is largely believed to be about controlling the Stone of Jas, although the original factor that started it was Zamorak returning to runescape as a god after he had originally been banished for "killing" Zaros. The other gods did not take too kindly to his return, or claim to godhood, especially as he deemed himself the God of Chaos. Also there is no definite proof Bandos and Zamorak were allies. It is likely as Bandos is the God of War and Zamorak causing War he would like, however he also probably would dislike seeing another god on the scene. The only 100% concrete known alliance was between Saradomin and Armadyl (Order and Justice) Zamorak and zaros vanished at the same time, Zamorak wasn't really banished, he was just assumed dead. And there is one other known alliance. Zamorak and Saradomin joined forces to take out a large part of the zarosian empire, aka today the wild.

I agree. Colours matter only for those who like to be stylish and that's usually players who don't do combat. Original colour>new colours i say. As for new weapons hello? they added the Trident. Not a hugely awesome weapon but its ability to save mage runes is hopefully a step towards something we shall see more of, and its spec is pretty awesome. Correction. New weapons that actually serves a decent purpose, whether for high levels or low levels. The trident is just neither here nor there. You're being too picky. We have swords that can two hit even the strongest player, what do you want? Weapons that kill players before they even attack you? Take what Jagex gives you and be happy for once. No everyone is a meleer, a pvper, or a boss hunter. Over the past few years Jagex has focused mainly on pvp and melee and we seem to get a new melee weapon with almost every quest, and you whine when mages get one single update?

There is no "reason" that you need 40 KC to enter ANY GWD boss room. None. However, it makes sense that Jagex would keep the number the same. Logic. Try and connect the dots. It isn't hard to see that. It's not about the kill count, it's about the obviously fake boss that was posted up, as there is no backing to support that boss. Sure we are shooting out random ideas but atleast we know there will be a soul alter, the mahjarrat do have a ritual that is coming up soon, and it is in that general direction that everyone looked.

Are you referring to the guy in the chair? That's Jack O'Niall, he was a retired white knight who left after Slug Menace, before Kennith's Concern. He was taken control of by the sea slugs and fled town. The White Knights have issued an order to kill him on sight. Sea slugs took control of him before and now he's missing? This combined with Mod Mark H's use of words for his angram makes this look like the most likely answer. He was being controlled in slug menace and like most of the people under the slugs control, disappeared after the quest. There is nothing to make us suspect that is up next.

This is getting me to thinking ... are the edicts of Guthix self-enforcing (like he did some spell and the other gods actually can't enter the world), or did he just make laws and warned the gods that if he caught them he would punish them? During the Ghostly Robes miniquest, we learn that Zaros had a lot of different beings under his control, including all sorts of demons, Mahjarrat, Dragon Riders and many many more. Haven't done ghost robes quest in years. Jagex needs to give you a journal to recall stuff from quests. All the lore that you've learned under different sections. Like on Zaros, the mahjarrat, the god wars, and other things you learn from quests to remember storylines. Maybe even write in steps to puzzles for helping friends.
