  1. Yeh no. Zaros was a god who basically stole the Mahjarrats allegiance away from Icthlarin. He wasn't one of them. Yes. Zamorak is the only mahjarrat god. And don't even mention Lucien
  2. Who the hell said Gwd? We're probably going to be used as a portal, a gateway for Zaros to return to this realm, just maybe. Our characters are 'vital for Zaros' revival' and we are needed 'in one piece'. It could just be figurative or it could be literal. Zaros didn't die, he simply faded out of existance on this plane. Where's the vital for his revival part from? Also, Zaros wasn't in the God Wars (was he?), so it wouldn't make sense for him to be involved as his forces had largely been wiped out when Zamorak betrayed him. No, zaros was banished, his army wasn't wiped out until about the end of the god wars. It was when saradomin and zamorak got together and Nagasaki'd the wild. Zaros had no army, his 'army' were Mahjarrat, who betrayed him. Zaros had whole cities devoted to him. There's absolutely no evidence to suggest that Zaros' entire army was comprised exclusively of Mahjarrat. That's true. But I still don't see "Zaros Gwd". Oh and some copy pasta from RS Wiki; [hide=Copy Pasta from RS Wiki]In the recent Q&As from three Jagex Moderators (Mod MMG, Mod Roderick and Paul Gower), it has been hinted that Zaros will return soon. It was also hinted many years ago by the Chaos Elemental in a Postbag from the Hedge with the phrase "bizarre boron swell", an anagram of "Zaros will be reborn". During The Temple at Senntisten, the player collects three items to give to Dr Nabanik (Azzanadra), used to contact Zaros. This creates a connection between the temple and the plane where Zaros is located, allowing speech. This connection is only the start of what may happen when Zaros is fully reborn, as shown in a cutscene. The cutscene shows the dark mage's portal going crazy (almost destroying the universe according to him) but the mage thankfully manages to control it. It also shows an earthquake which cracks a Zamorak statue at the Chaos Temple. The Monks of Zamorak are furious, and suspect it is the Saradominists' fault. This manifestation of power appears to have violated the Edicts of Guthix, which prohibits all other gods from directly interfering with Gielinor (only the gods' followers can act on behalf of their gods). If this was indeed a violation, it is not known whether it was intentionally in violation of the Edicts, as the edicts were proclaimed during the God Wars, long after Zaros had disappeared from the plane of Gielinor. It is also possible that the Edicts do not affect Zaros as he had not been in Gielinor at the time they were put in place. [/hide] Some useful info there. Mod MMG, Mod Roderick and Paul hinted Zaros' return soon. I think it's a completely natural idea that it would be Zaros' return. It's like the walls have started to 'crack'; after the events where Azzandra opened communications with Zaros Easily no zaros gwd. The battle for the godsword was also near the end of the godwars, which means zamorak and saradomin would probably be keeping zaros' army busy.

  5. Zaros never 'died' he was just weakened. And by just introduced, I mean Zaros was just shown in a physical form. We've all seen staues of zamorak or saradomin, the bandos avatar, it was said in a postbag that all crystal equipment holds a part of the essence of seren, met 2 desert gods, seen statues/shadows of the rest, and now seen zaros in a physical manifestation.
  6. Zaros just got introduced into the game, so I doubt it's zaros. As for a mahjarrat, why can't that and the soul alter be one in the same? If one of them has to be sacrificed to give life to the rest of them then the soul alter makes perfect sense.
  7. i'm saying mahjarrat ritual. The death and blood alter came out with a quest so why not soul?
  8. The last two posts have added so much to the topic. It's mind blowing.
  9. What's wrong with laughing or saying ok? I get mad if i'm talking to someone and they don't answer. "[bleep] off" is better than saying nothing to me.

Gun control: the game = best stage ever Yeah I've already played them.

Ha. I burned the rope and saved us all. beat that. Anyway I say we turn this into a flash game thread.
  12. Yeah ever try going to the random team room? There's always 6-15 attackers. Much to my surprise healers are harder to find than defenders. There's 3 defenders advertising in a given room and when I say I need def they all seem to vanish. I hate defender so much because I suck at it. Though that should probably be the other way around.
  13. Well yes a cloud can kill you. Clouds are masses of water suspended in the atmosphere, which water can kill you in large enough doses. As for something that can't kill you, a grain of sand.
  14. Mind translating that into English? "Boo hoo I can't train strength with an Abyssal whip" It's crap for BA because theres no strength attack (which is one of the types you use in BA) yet it gets colouring. I don't care whips have no strength bonus, I don't use whips. I was not complaining that it got colouring while no other weapon did. Dragon weapons would look silly coloured. Sheesh. Derphead. If they call strength I take off my whip and kick them. Level 5 attack, i'll still end up killing something.
  15. You missed the point. It wasn't because the quest had a lacking plot that we were upset. It was because it was a Grandmaster Quest and was lacking plot. GM quests should be up to their nipples in plot. Perhaps. It seems to me this has a lot more plot than you are giving it credit for though. It was a bit on the short side, but it seems to be just the tip of the iceberg. Anyways, the alternative would be to make it Master, which would make it an extremely difficult Master quest, so they would have to lower the combat stuffs, which would just make it lame. Plus it's important for Nomad to be powerful in this quest cause they can't randomly make him powerful in a sequel when they decide to add a nice story to it. I'm sure Jagex was having this discussion before the release. It really comes down to people's opinions on what a GMQ should have. It is my opinion that the story potential combined with the difficulty of this quest make it Grandmaster, but I understand why you would think otherwise. Just to clarify, a quest with a decent plot shouldn't be able to be summed up in two lines. "Kill nomad" "Ok" You got no reason why you were doing it and I honestly think it was just a fan service. A majority of people wanted nomad to turn out to be an enemy, and so he did. Hm, let's sum WGS up in this same way too, paying no attention to any other part of the story either: "Hey noble adventurer, this dude you already killed in another quest is trying to take over the world. You might wanna stop him" "Ok" Mind telling my what part of the story you're referring to?
  16. My advice would be to start your own team Look for people that have levels in roles, it usually indicates they know what they're doing.
  17. You just hit the mark for every update past, present and future. Jagex likes to balance all of their updates so one doesn't overpower the other, however what they fail to realize is that because games like Barbarian Assault and other content is not really all that fun to do, it makes that game or piece of content untouched by the community. The whole balancing act Jagex is attempting is really quite annoying. We haven't had a weapon OR armor worth fighting with since God Wars was released, and we haven't had a weapon worth training with since Slayer was brought out. If you ask me, it's quite pathetic how combat has been left behind for 2-5 years just because they don't want a weapon to overpower the other. Yes completely ignore the skillers and people who don't like the PvP. I know that might be kind of a hard concept for you, someone who doesn't like PvP, but Jagex needs to cater to all of their players, not just single out the largest group. As it is melee is by far the best combat style out there, range and magic doesn't even come close.

  19. A single boss fight does not make the quest. I would hardly hold this up to a novice quest. Sure it has one hell of a fight, but it lacks severely in everything else. Cooks assistant had more story than Nomad's Requiem, and the story and music makes a quest for me. I can look past every other thing if the story and music is good.
  20. Me! but I have to go to school.
  21. That's because it was taken down. They're building hype.
  22. Which could mean fish become more expensive as there will be less people training cooking on them. Which is a win for fishers. If less people cook them isn't that a loss? There will be an oversupply of raw fish driving the price down. I may have 99 fishing but I only have 70 cooking, no fair.
  23. This is nice. I like B.A. and I thought it needed some improvements. Only playing it will let me see if the update is good though. I believe I am level 5 in every role except defense.

So many people want to do something involving games, Tip.it should join together and sing a song and start a company in the town with the TZDF base in it.

Male prostitute! That was choice number two. First option was female prostitute? (I'm right?)
