  1. I've been going back and forth between lucky runs and unlucky runs. Very easy to tell them apart. On an unlucky run he'll hit constant 30s on me each turn and never stop hitting. On a lucky run i'll spec a few times at the start and he'll rarely hit 20s on me while most hits will be 10-15. Still haven't been lucky enough. Closest was getting him to half the hp he goes berserk at. So I figure the rest is just training because I have bad luck and i'll have to force my way through the fight. So range grinding at PC until 85-90. Why PC? Why not. I get the experience per game, and then a free 30k every 25 won games.

I'd love to be the guy who writes the code for video games, makes the game work, so that's what i'm shooting for.

    Easily Secret of Mana.
  4. Well I suggest just using a zamorakian spear and black d hide instead of range but if you really want to range fill your terrorbird with brews. For zerker form put on deflect melee and turmoil(I can't see your stats so idk if you have it) if you don't have turmoil just use leech defence, str, and attack. 71 prayer. And I will not go back to melee, and here is why. When I was meleeing, I never did that much damage. I was lucky to get nomad down 1/4th hp before I was out of food and pots. Then I range him, and even if some was just luck, 1/4th down compared to zerker stage is a really big difference.
  5. Well today I tried a different tactic, range, the whole time. I got him down to zerker state, and was out of food by then (no summon for extra food). Deflect range and sap mage were the curses I used. I used every advantage I had to me in the battle, hid from the 75 attack, the clones, and brewed over max when he charged his max hp -1 attack. 6 super restores, 8 sara brews, rest rocktail. I bought 10 spirit terrorbirds (64 summoning), any suggestions for me like what I should put in the terrorbird's inv, how I should deal with zerker form, slight modifications to my inv? (I'll just ignore it if you tell me to change my whole inv.)
  6. Just wanted to point out the main three aren't Christainity/Judaism/Islam but rather Christain/Athiest-Agnostic/Judaism, followed by Buddhist and then Islam. Also wanted to point out on this topic that the United States was the first nation to have no official religion. You interpreted my post wrong. I'm saying since all those religions came from one source that the all have similar values and make the largest group if lumped in together. As for the official religion, I was saying since a large group of the U.S. is Jewish base that the laws proposed, passed, and followed, are based of the values and views of the majority.
  7. No. The United States is a secular nation. In The United States the government is supposed to treat individuals equally no matter if they are religious or if they are not. Saying otherwise shows immense ignorance of the most important document in United States law. Just because they're supposed to doesn't mean it happens. Lets just set a few things straight. Most of the people in this country are Jewish/Christan/Muslim, these all stemmed from the same religion of Judaism which came first. I haven't really studied Islam or Judaism that hard, but i'd assume they'd all have the same views on homosexuality. So even if the government isn't officially Christan, a majority of the voters are, or some form of it.
  8. Any good quest needs a good boss at the end. It makes the quest feel accomplished. :P Quests have bosses and will have bosses in the future, no matter what. This is a side quest for a new mahjarrat quest, obviously. I do see where you are coming from though. While they need a nice boss they need a story too. "Hey go kill Nomad, because he might be evil" "Ok" That's our big grandmaster storyline. Maybe i'm just old fashioned this way but I expect puzzles, plot, and hard fights in one.
  9. Well today I tried a different approach, I set my inv and armor up based purely on suggestions for other people. I got a lot farther when I was doing my own thing, I think I'll revert back to that. Yes I tried using the pillar dodge trick, still got farther tanking him with sap mage, sap range, and deflect melee. Too bad he doesn't take damage from deflect. Oh and to the responses he doesn't get affected by protection prayers, I disagree. I tried a run today without deflect melee and the damage I took and how often I got hit was a really noticeable difference. I think instead of switching attack styles with you like the balance elemental or the mother I think he alternates between all three forms in a pattern. I don't have any proof of this but if he does this quest will will be easier. Still a single boss fight does not a grandmaster make. Jagex has made us to expect a story, difficult puzzles, a good selection of music to go with the quest, setting the mood for the moment, and decent rewards. I'm not usually one to [bleep] about rewards but looking at those rewards for this 'grandmaster', wow. Yes since WGS is the only other grandmaster quest it gets compared to it. I can even forgive everything else about a quest if the story is good and the music is good.
  10. Well after getting up to Nomad I expected him to move faster, and I think everyone is just exaggerating when they say he's the hardest boss. 3 tries so far, first and second killed by the one below max hp special and third time I ran out of my inv (I didn't switch it out between runs). The balance elemental was smarter and quicker to respond to my changes. Like the new mother, Nomad will keep attacking with a style for a little bit after I pray against it. The biggest mistake i'm making is not taking things to restore my lowered stats. 1st try I got about 1/3 hp off, second was not even 1/4, and 3rd was 1/4. I'll keep trying until I win, assuming it doesn't cost me over 10m. But tomorrow, i'm tired now and i'm going to bed.
  11. Wow, there's a national organization for marriage. I'm just surprised this didn't happen sooner. People need to start seeing the world changes around them and just let it happen. They only passed the ban by 4%, that's a really small margin and i'd bet only 20% of that 53% were set in their beliefs. I'm all for it, keep on fighting for your rights people.
  12. I doubt it, if you start of with something big then people will expect bigger. (dirty mind kicking in, must resist...) You need to build up to a big update. You can't just release cooks assistant part 3 and then follow that up with While Guthix sleeps 2, it just doesn't work. Yes it might still be epic but you reach the destination without the journey. Getting there really is half the fun.

You obviously didn't "get" the analogy. It was never about going jobless or even about going with "stuff". It was about enjoying life (coffee) and not worrying about the much less meaninful things that are in your life (the cup). People in the story chose only the best cups, whereas they all just wanted the coffee so why did the cup matter? You don't seem to get what I mean. How can you enjoy the coffee if you don't have a cup? It's not about not having a cup, it will always have a cup. It's about not being concerned with the cup you have and taking the time to enjoy the coffee.
  14. I suggested a clan wars arena. So have 10,000 other players, should I claim it as mine? Just because you haven't seen a rare monster doesn't mean Jagex hates you. I haven't seen an Accomplished Fomorian, so Aeria must hate me. It's proof, if I don't see a rareass monster, they company running the game obviously knows I need it and it, and is tantalizing me with them. (Note: 'rareass' does not begin to describe how rare they are) See, doesn't really make much sense does it?
  15. Except that every piece of smithable armor is buyable in some shop or other or else dropped by monsters, is it not? If smithing wasn't there, we wouldn't be missing out on anything. Most of us p2p'ers already don't wear smithed armor in the first place; we wear granite, dragon, barrows, Bandos, d'hide, that sort of stuff. Do you know anyone who smiths armor to wear anyway? I smithed my own armor when I wore bronze, iron, and steel. Besides that no. And I forgot about granite.
  16. But you can still pass them with armor. And if you're trying to reduce your weight, doesn't that just increase the "agility is not related to smithing" argument? If smithing wasn't there you'd not have the armor to weigh you down besides black, white, dragon, and barrows.
  17. Smithing makes armour, which, when worn, weighs you down, decreasing you agility ability(super rhyme). It doesn't need to affect i in a GOOD way, does it? Besides the fact that that is three steps, it's not right. Armor does not decrease your agility, armor decreases how long your run energy lasts for which is a separate interface in the game, increasing agility helps this but does not affect the armor in any way. It gives you a greater chance of failing an agility obstacle dependant on weight Care to tell me a single agility obstacle dependent on weight besides quest ones? Since you will fail that even if you nothing at all, smithed armor does not affect that outcome.

Still an hour for me. Been another boring night. If someone didn't point out to me today was new years eve I wouldn't have noticed.
  22. [hide] For such a long quote I added hide tags, you can thank me with money  [/hide] No. No. No. You can take what the skill is a subskill of and relate it to smithing that way, but you can't do it the other way around. So no mage does not use smithing, nor does fishing, or woodcutting, hunter, herblore, firemaking, or agility.
  23. I didn't think of a keylogger before I clicked on it so I ran a virus scan. I have a new Trojan I didn't have yesterday. I've only been on tipit, runescape, and aeriagames today, so no that site isn't safe.
  24. If your RSN in Serephurus then yes it's on the list. Anyway, is the site the list on safe or what? I'd say no. It stopped my internet from responding each time I got on there to look up a name.
  25. Isn't there a quest that requires you to light a furnace or something? Yes but that's done with magic and firemaking, not smithing and firemaking.
