  1. No if I moved to iran and held 4th of July parades that would be to antagonize them. They are trying to attract other gays? What is it a recruitment drive?
  2. ^^ A career burglar looks for houses where no one else is home. That's why your house was robbed when you were out. Burglars are not dangerous. Anyone who would just force their way into an occupied house obviously is.
  3. ^^ Thats correct. No gay *has* to wear assless leather chaps and dance around the street half naked. They are just trying to antagonize people. Nothing else.
  4. Then you are lucky to be alive. You don't shoot someone who is walking away from your house with a tv in the back. You shoot someone who after being warned doesn't leave and is dangerous. The average person who would break into an occupied home isn't a career burglar wearing a zebra striped shirt. They are probably on pcp or meth and would kill you without a second thought.
  5. Real good comparison. Makes you look real smart. And no one *has* to sing The Banner.
  6. http://qrc.depaul.edu/djabon/Articles/C ... 030101.htm Theres the Chicago murder rate. I know Montana is in the bottom six. I'm pretty sure the murder rate is around 3 or so. So Chicago is about 7 times higher even with a total handgun ban.
  7. No if I want to protect myself I will carry a gun. Murder rates have almost nothing to do with guns. Look at areas that have the toughest gun control in America. Those are the areas where citizens need legal guns the most. Look at the rural areas where there is very little crime. A city where everyone has guns in Montana is 10 times as safe as Chicago where there is a total gun ban. EDIT: http://www.gunowners.org/sk0702.htm
  8. To protect yourself maybe?
  9. ^^ And police are not obligated to protect you. http://crl.nmsu.edu/~eli/rtkba/police.html
  10. Why did blacks need to have their Civil Rights protests? Was that "shoving it down your throat" too? I mean, I feel like you would have been one of those people like, "Look, Lincoln freed you already, will you just stfu about this already? You're free, now leave us alone!" Careful, your homophobia is showing. That is stupid. There is a difference between protesting for civil rights and parading around the streets half naked just because you can.
  11. Some professor at Florida state did a study. And comparing murder rates of countries doesn't really work. It's about areas. Compare Montana to The Manchester. Compare Denmark to Chicago or L.A. In America places with lax gun laws aren't usually that bad. In D.C. the total ban on handguns didn't work out too well.
  12. ^^ 2 million times a year guns are used in self defense.
  13. ^^ Why do they need to shove it down my throat? It's like a matrix softcore porn. Why is that necessary?
  14. ^^ The U.S. already controls all 18 provinces. I was talking about giving control over to the ISF. And the Iraqis don't want us out immediately because the government would collapse and it would turn into civil war. The vote wouldn't pass because members of the Iraqi parliament wouldn't say that if the country falls apart that we should continue to withdraw.
  15. The buildings the cliff house.
  16. If i were a homosexual, I don't think I'd want people to recognise me as "normal," I'd rather people get over this nonsense that everyone in society ought to be "normal." Theres a difference between just a regular guy who happens to be gay and the guys at the gay pride parade.
  17. Winning would be when we are able to hand over control of all 18 provinces and then withdraw without the country spiraling into chaos. Iraqis certainly do not want us out immediately. They know that the ISF isn't ready to stand completely on it's own. The pentagon thinks that the ISF will take control of all 18 by the end of the year. Admiral Mullin and General Patreus will probably recommend troop cuts before the end of the year. Maliki's plan is nothing like Obama's. I bet if Obama's plan came up for a vote in the Iraqi parliament it wouldn't pass. Thats not to say we couldn't be out within two years or so. But to say that whatever happens we will continue to withdraw is just stupid. If we begin to withdraw and al qaeda resurges do you continue to withdraw? No that is very stupid. Obama was driven to his position by his far left radical ideology and if he doesn't change it when he comes back from Iraq that will just show that he puts party ideology or not wanting to look like a flip flopper above the country. If he does change his position I wouldn't call him a flip flopper because there is a good reason to change.
  18. Immediately after the british retreated violence went up. It was only after a while that it went down. That was because the insurgents went to other areas of Iraq.
  19. ^^ I don't see how that means anything. President Bush and Maliki have agreed to aspirations of when to withdraw. It's not an arbitrary timetable for retreat like Obama wants. It can be changed according to the conditions on the ground. Obama will probably change his tune once he gets back from Iraq anyway. McCain practically forced him to go. Obama has zero credibility on Iraq. Just look at the surge. Who was right there?
  20. They are obviously not thriving. Maybe a few years ago they were but not anymore. People still have the same view of the Iraq war as last year. Iraq has completely turned around. Violence is down, the ISF is cracking down on the militias, and al qaida is on the run. They are even using women as suicide bombers.
  21. No I mean like if you see it sail away eventually you'll just see the top of the sails before the rest disappears. They knew this before they had ever sailed around the world. Even when Columbus sailed they didn't think he would fall off the world, just that he would keep sailing and the distance to India would be to great. Which it would have been if he hadn't found America.
  22. ^^ It's a fact. If they don't thrive in Iraq, why are you there again exactly? I'm not saying they aren't there. There are still there and still very very dangerous. But It was like a moth ago the Ryan Crocker said that al qaida has never been closer to defeat.
  23. ^^ They don't thrive in Iraq. al qaida kills more muslims than Americans. Thats why the Iraq militias are getting them out of their neighborhoods and killing them.
  24. ^^ They knew it was round before the 1700's. The reason is that if you watch a boat sail away you can see it disappear gradually.
  25. Well it's not hard to see how. Young Muslims see this man being tortured for what he believes in - beliefs they themselves can relate to. It encourages them to join terrorist organisations. This is the thing. You torture a man, you have no idea how many people will follow his cause in inspiration of his devotion. No ones going to be inspired by KSM. Especially when he only lasted one time of being waterboarded. The CIA agents who were there said he practically wanted to talk. [hide=][/hide] Does that look inspiring to you? It's not innocent farmers who were angry and decided to join al qaida. It's people who were already terrorists and either tricked CIA into thinking they were innocent or guys we didn't have enough evidence to hold.
