I would highly doubt that. Just because they don't report it on the news doesn't mean it doesn't happen. That guy from Florida state found that there were 2 million times a year that guns were used in self defense.

Well it was the democrats. Eisenhower did complain a lot. I've heard one reason for the second bomb was that the Japs thought that the we only had one bomb. Not sure if that's valid though.

The police take forever. By the time they get there you'd be dead. Also the police don't have an obligation to protect you.

Ginger it avoided civilian casualties in that the U.S. and ussr didn't have to invade. Who knows what the ussr would have done to China, Korea and Japan. Magekillr anyone who breaks into your house while you are home is probably dangerous and on meth. If they were actual burglars they wouldn't just break into a random house with people home. And if someone is trying to kill you you put them down. Unless your not an expert marksman who can shoot the gun out of their hands.

^^ Is that the same article 3 times? The sun does play a very big part in global warming. Scafetta and West of Duke found that 35% of the warming since the 70's can be attributed to increased solar output alone and more than 35% going back farther. I'll edit the link in later when I get home.

^^ Arctic ice is all floating and water is more dense than ice. I have the link and I'll edit it in later but you can look it up if you want. I think it's Chyleck 2006, or 2007. Greenland has cooled since 1941 and the period between 1880 and 1955 was warmer than the period between 1955 and 2005. Lower elevations have lost ice while higher elevations have gained ice.

^^ Arctic melting won't raise sea levels. Only Antarctic and Greenland would. Antarctica is getting colder and Greenland is colder and melting less than it did in the 40's and higher elevations are gaining ice.

Our country remains at the top of the list for solving violent crimes, but tell me: Why do we need to change the ways we solve crime if it has been dropping SINCE 1993 Solving crime and preventing terrorism are two completely different things that can't be compared.

A judge needs to issue one. The government needs to build a case showing cause which often takes long. Even with warrantless wiretapping of overseas calls to terrorists someone(not sure who) from the DOJ(I think) needs to approve it. They still need the same amount of cause it's just faster I think. I think they also have to go back and get a retroactive warrant from a secret FISA court.
