Come on. What about the head cheerleader of Compton in "Bring it On"?

Criticizing earmarks doesn't mean they are anti-science and if you want to talk churches, compare Obama's hate filled Marxist church to Palin's. ok your worse then a wall. a wall doesn't talk back. arn't you getting it they !!!!!!!!can't!!!!!! pay back any money that they are given because all that money is going to paying off debts and is not actually being invested in making more. and these are under the un's definition of torture. google it!!! look at how several un human rights overseers are being kicked out of gitmo because of it. torture doesn't work!!!! tortureres won't stop if you say you know nothing a million times!!!! they are after information that they believe correct even though there is no evidence to support it. people answer torturers because they think its what they want and will end there pain not because its the truth. if i were to waterboard you a million times to get you to say your mom is an alien you'll say it not because its the truth but because it will end the pain. i'm not going to post on this thread anymore because you just are not listening to reason and humanity and is just turning into a flame fest Dude, don't take my world for it. Look it up. House Resolution 1424 the "Economic Stabilization Act of 2008". It is in the bill that all money will be gained back by the taxpayers from the financial institutions after 5 years.. And torture works. I would trust someone who has worked at CIA for years and knows their job over some dunce from Amnesty International.
-
That is just what they would have done. Same for Iran. They would be more than happy to give WMD's to Hezbollah so that it wouldn't go back to them.
-
Only 3 terrorists were waterboarded and only 30 prisoners of CIA ever saw any kind of coercive interrogation. And the UN has different definitions of torture which I don't think include stress positions or temperatures. Those would be under a different category. And frankly I don't care. I think that if anybody has information that could save lives they should do whatever it takes to get the information short of harming the guys family. And go to House.Gov and look up the bill. It is in the text dude. It's House Resolution 1424. Why would I make that up? It was the democrats who put it in.
-
I would feel so bad if I did that. Was he hella good or something? Pics or it didn't happen. I hate my generation. When I hear that train a rollin' I hang my head and cry.
-
Those wouldn't qualify as torture. Dogs might but the rest are classified as degrading treatment I think. There might be a level below that even though. And It's in the text of the bill that all of the money will be recouped. That is the law now. It's not that complicado.

There was a good one in my town. I'm not sure of all the details though. There is supposedly a ghost at the Kohl Mansion. That's where they filmed the movie "Flubber" and it's actually an all girls high school. I guess the original owner or something killed his wife and himself and his ghost lives on the fourth floor. I went up there and I didn't notice anything. Apparently it leaves some kind of white powder or something that the sisters tested but it came back inconclusive.

first off you seriously believe that only 3 people have been tortured?? second "the bush years" is not a micheal moor movie and was made by both members of bushes own party and the opposition. watch it before you critisize it. it a documentory about bushes life not a slander fest. it has everything from how his father treated him when he grew up to the pastor that got him to stop drinking. third. i'll say this again so it goes through that skull. how do you expect a country that is already trillions of dollars in debt to pay for a 700bil dollar bail out??????????? there are two choices either bring manufactoring jobs back to america so the country will actually start to make money(fat chance). second is to raises the taxes of every tax payer by thousands of dollars each!! now then lets look at it this way. make the corporations who fund your campains angry because they lose cash by bringing jobs back to america. or just raise taxes and pay off the bailout and keep your supporters happy as well? not that that will make the people happy. ignorant americans. but then again someone once said ignorance is bliss. Actually, yes. Only 3 people have ever been waterboarded. One was Khalid Sheik Mohamed who masterminded 9/11. I guess I'll say something again too. The $700 billion will be completely made back by the government. That was built into the legislation. They won't have to raise taxes to pay for it. o for the love of god.... i'm not even going to get in to the facts about torture because anyone with the internet knows that thats a blatant lie. now then someone with an economics degree tell him its physically imposable to make 700billion dollars apear out of thin air!!!!!!!! and that someone, somewhere is going to have to pay that back Were you paying attention to anything when they passed that bill dude? The taxpayers are on the hook for nothing. That was put into the legislation in the House. Read the bill. I'm with Ted Poe on this one. But if you count waterboarding as torture I guess... http://jurist.law.pitt.edu/paperchase/2 ... arding.php

^^ Just spouting random things doesn't make them facts. But you're a Christian...wtf Have you even read any of what Jesus said? Yes. I' don't pretend to be perfect. I don't think 9/11 is something I can turn the other cheek to and if giving someone who has already plotter the murder of thousands a dunk in water for less than a minute can potentially stop another attack or help us capture Bin Laden I would say go for it. Another typical American fallacy. Let me tell you something: as much as Barack harps about catching Bin Laden, I think he's either a.) pandering to get elected or b.) being just as idiotic about this as many other Americans. I seriously doubt it's the latter. Capturing Bin Laden will do nothing, and killing him could be even worse. You want to end terrorism? Stop it at the source: end their recruitment. I didn't say killing him would end terrorism. I think it would slow their activites but in the long run it probably wouldn't do much. There isn't much of the pre-9/11 Al Qaida leadership left anyway. I just want to get the bastard. I would say torturing the man who masterminded 9/11 and killed thousands for less than 1 minute would be worth killing Bin Laden.
-
You do know that Iran has a democracy? And I don't think he has anything to apologize for. We still did a good thing, regardless of why we did it.
-
That makes it even worse. Imagine Nancy Pelosi setting the agenda of the country. Anything she wants done will happen. I might start trying to get out the vote for Cindy Sheehan. At least then we would have a sensible Speaker in Steny Hoyer.

You've already said your leaving so you don't need me to tell you. And most of the loyalists did leave. You know if you limit your swearing, maybe people would be able to take your argument as educated and serious, but I'll just take it for what it's worth: ranting. Greatest place to live and greatest place are two different terms and should not be mixed. I don't think that you should be 'proud to be an American'. There was just as good of a chance that you would have been born in Venezuela or Jordan. We all are genetic accidents. We did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to be in this country. I think we need to re-title it 'Happy to be an American', because that I definitely am. Pride implies you did something. You didn't. You and everyone else in this country were LUCKY to be Americans. I didn't do anything to be an American but a hell of a lot of people I have never met did. And I'm proud of them and this country. Police do need warrants to search your home. They have always been able to search your person if there is reasonable suspicion to. They can only listen to you calls if you call a member of Al Qaida overseas. So unless your uncle lives in Waziristan and is a terrorist you should be finr. The $700 Billion dollars will be completely made back, and I actually am proud of that because the Senate and House(except the Speaker) were able to come together and take decisive action when the President called on them. And the President can not sign a bill without it coming through congress. So I don't know what you are talking about. I'm pretty much alright with torture even though it's only been done 3 times. You probably shouldn't watch michael moore movies dude.
-
What are you talking about dude? Seriously. Do you know anything about any of the subjects you just posted about? Nothing you said even makes sense.
-
I'd be happy to chip in for your plane ticket out of here.

Okay I'll try to break this down very simply. If you think something is true saying it is not lying. I guess you and that moron Robert Wexler don't understand that. He did the exact same thing when Sec. Rice testified to them. So unless you think that the President has his own private Intelligence agency that is better than CIA and told him that Saddam did have WMD's then he wasn't lying. Edit: accidentally put a 'not' in there.

If it was a boy I would name him after me. Girl? Not sure.

I didn't miss any fail, I just fail to see the point in me reierating mysef to the naves. Bush invades a country that is a member of OPEC and gas prices go up. Since we've already established the fact that Bush did not care if he was misinformed and invaded for the wrong reasons, we can also assume that he is there for something entirely different. What would be the obvious assumption? Oil. Or in the case that has been stated already: God. Just because Iraq or Saudi Arabia doesn't supply the U.S. with 99.9% of our oil, doesn't mean we don't want to control the oil we do get from them. When have we established that? Just because you say something over and over doesn't make it true. What happened was that we got the intelligence wrong. George Tenet, who was appointed by Bill Clinton, said it was a "Slam Dunk" that Saddam had WMD's. If we invaded for oil why is Iraq producing less oil than they did before the invasion? Why is the Iraqi government sitting on a surplus of oil money that should be in Bush and Cheney's bank accounts?
-
Reading that thing I don't really see what is bad about it. Maybe I'm stupid, which is likely. But it seems like a good thing that in the past only one person in a country would own a castle. If 5% of the population own castles now wouldn't that be a good thing? And seeing as it's the UN I wouldn't give it much weight. This is the same UN that sent an inspector to see what a racist country America is THIS YEAR. I got it from when he started a thread about how much he hates America on the 4th of July.

That's the same time as you said before. Anytime anyone says they hope they are doing God's will or that they are serving him atheists all try to go "What a loony! he thinks he talks to God? What a nutjob!" And nothin Scott McClellan said was really news. It was just Keith Olbermann who jumped all over that. I can see where McClellan is mad about Valerie Plame but that is really the only thing he said that was important.
-
So what your saying is based off an interview he never gave? And mocking Obama's pork doesn't make him anti-science. Earmarks are earmarks. Out of all of the Republican candidates he is probably the most in touch with science. It wouldn't matter who the nominee is, even if it was an actual scientist, as long as the R is next to the name they are 'anit-science'.
-
So who should I believe, Scott McClellan and the President or the foreign minister of Palestine? I think I'll go with the White House.
-
I think you're right on a lot of things. The internet is a place where presidents/politicians are pretty much ripped to shreds and a lot of what they do good isn't noticed. We notice the bad much more than the good. BUT, when it comes to Bush. I don't think he is nearly as stupid as most people try and make out - I still don't think he's very intelligent, but granted, he isn't a [developmentally delayed]. Although, he did say that they were going into Iraq because they had serious intelligence that they had WMDs. Either he lied, or he was misinformed by other foreign intelligence agencies, or the foreign intelligence agencies were actually part of the lie. Personally, I think that Bush's team/Blair's team manipulated public fear (after 9/11), manufactured this whole "45 minute" WMD attack situation (Look up David Kelly, he even said that some of the so called "weapons manufacturing facilities" that our governments were talking about were CLEARLY not "weapons manufacturing facilities"). I think this is plainly obvious, whether he personally lied or not doesn't matter because the government partook in creating a climate of fear in order to get both another 4 years in office and invade Iraq under the guise of "protecting the nation." He brought in the PATRIOT act, the fact that it is even called the "patriot" act is testament to the fact they are openly manipulating people with nationalistic propaganda. He claimed that God told him to invade Iraq (CLEARLY manipulating the Christian majority in America).. Whether he lied specifically about the claim that they had WMDs is entirely irrelevant because he blatantly took part in manipulation of the people, which is just as bad as openly lying to them. The motive? Probably not oil, most likely territory/or a strategy to create a climate of fear in order to get a stronger majority of people voting on the neo-con side of the spectrum and therefore get more power in the future. Quite frankly I don't know. But to claim that they DIDN'T manipulate the people is just ridiculous, they do it all the time, most politicians do it, and I think with Bush people decided to draw the line. When did President Bush ever say he invaded Iraq because God told him to? Could you not just make stuff up please?

And Obama won't do the same thing? McCain is alot more left than you would think, but running for president you have to represent your party as a whole. Nope, he won't. Did you read the differences in their interviews with scientific publications? McCain is completely anti-Science. Why do you single out evolution? I'm sorry that it's only the single greatest thing that has come to Biology... How can you say McCain is anti science? What are you talking about? Have you heard of the McCain-Lieberman climate stewardship act? He isn't a creationist either. These are just the same old recycled attacks the democrats have against republicans no matter who is running. If Ron Paul had won the nomination Obama's campaign line still would have been "The Bush-Paul" economy.
