No, you don't need to be wearing the RoW to get the new drops, it just increases your chances of getting them apparently. You also don't need to wear the RoW for the whole kill, just put it on before the loot appears on the ground, then switch back to your Zerker (i) ring once the loot appears. *awaits the typical response of: Lol, that's way to much work*

And over the 536 tasks I've done, that would be an extra 16m cash that I'd have. ^ and the time spent clicking to collect these coins? not worth it at least the row could have picked up piles of coin drops that would have been a good reason to wear it as it is i'm going back to my ring with the str bonus. i can passively earn more than 16 mill by doing the kingdom that takes less time than doing 536 tasks It's not hard to pick up drops on the way to the next monster you will be fighting, nor is it hard to figure out that you can walk about 2 spaces inbetween each time your whip/rapier hits. So really, the time spent picking up the coins is nothing. You're there to kill the monsters for slayer, if you can't loot efficiently, that's your problem. I also use a zerker ring/fero ring while slaying, like I said, it is really minimal work to click on a ring as the monster red bars, then click on your main ring again after the loot appears. I never claimed that the extra 30k profit per task was faster money than anything else, all I said was that it wasn't an insult. ITT: Inefficient person complaining that a ring doesn't pick up objects for him. Who bothers paying that much attention to the game? I afk slay as much as I can, I can't be bothered to juggle rings and then pick up every measly coin drop. A good update will be to meld the row to the existing stat boosting rings in the game, that this WAS NOT done is a huge oversight. You do realize that if the ring were to pick up coins it would make it more efficient? We do have objects to pick up or automatically use bones, herbs or gems, why not coins. We also need an object to pick up charms, the less clicking the better with make-x why make combatters suffer. From what I'm getting out of this, your real problem isn't with combatters suffering, it's with the fact that you want to be able to play without paying any attention, and dislike the fact that people who pay attention to fighting can get the rewards from it more easily. The game doesn't need to cater to your needs so much that combat becomes as simple as setting your character in a room of aggressive monsters and looking back every minute or so to see where your health is at (although it is basicly like that already, just no loot for the lazy people). Face it, you're just too lazy to pick up drops yourself, and essentially want gameplay to be like botting for you (picks up your coins, burries your bones, picks up your charms, etc.) What's next, do you want your character to eat automatically when he falls below 500 lp? Also, what automatically does anything with gems? We have the gem bag, but that requires YOU actually picking up an object, and YOU actually putting the gem into the bag.

Agreed 1st row drop was uncut dragonstone, after that only like 400gp cash piles, various uncut gems from sapphire-diamond and a nature tally The cash piles are an insult. The ROW should at least just pick up cash drops for you as it generates so many. I would take food over cash drops as well and ROW seems to lower food drops so it's less useful. The cash piles are insults? Since wearing the RoW on tasks (switching to it as the monsters die (really not as much work as people make it out to be)) I've gotten a 7k coin drop from dust devils, and a 12k coin drop from steel dragons. Lately I've started picking up all coin drops when doing slayer (after I got 99 summon since now I have extra room for drops what with not picking up charms) and before the RoW update I would generally get 5-12k coins or so per task, now I've been getting roughly 10-30k coins or so depending on how often the coins drop. I'm not sure about you, but with having done over 500 slayer tasks, I really wish I'd been picking up coins the whole time....

Yup, 64 Dragon Defenders, 54 Fero rings, full void with range and melee helm, 700k tokkul, arcane stream, bone crusher, blah blah blah. Still pissed about my rapier (didn't drop it, dc'd at zaros gwd when it first came out). Whatever though, I'm slowly soloing towards getting it back. I'd go with a team, but I'm so out of the loop when it comes to dungeoneering (plus no hood) theres no way DG Sweepers would want me, and I can't stand random teams on 117 (got 80 dunj 3 weeks after it came out by using random teams on 117, so I'm sick of them). The compass is upside-down. Actually, the glitch is that I'm in the main tab of the bank, it says I have 160 items in there, but none of them appeared at all. Closed out the bank and opened it again, still nothing.... Had to restart RS to even see my bank. :wall:

1st guy is just an attention [bleep], and the second guy is an idiot. Now, I myself have used a Pony while using Protect Melee for two reasons: 1) I can't use a Yak yet. 2) I usually prayer flash, so I occasionally get hit hard, and the pony helps with that. However, leaving all his drops on the floor INCLUDING d platelegs, inexcusable. He wasn't even flashing prayer, so was pretty much just wasting a unicorn (yeah it's only like 3k but still a waste). I agree with Rust, was definitely a bot. Every 10 kills or so he would run down to the iron dragons then come back, to ensure that steels were always agressive. Was watching this topic when I saw this person come in... Is that guy using a d med and a lunar staff? :ohnoes: bad angle, but it's a BGS Lunar staff probably would have been a better choice. :lol: (BGS is terrible)

Now I know it's generally frowned upon to laugh at others for being inefficient, but take a look at these two guys and try to justify what they are doing: 3rd age plate and legs, fine, but 3rd age full helm instead of a slayer helm/black mask when doing slayer.... Really? A unicorn while protecting from melee? He was leaving every single drop on the floor, so I came out of that task with an extra 43 dragon bones, quite a few rune items, and dragon platelegs. :thumbsup: Sadly, he didn't get a vissage lol.

Can you even show me one example where someone got one of these huge noted drops which the monster had never dropped before the update and where no RoW was used? Until then, you can't convince me =/ I don't even own a RoW and since the update I've gotten 500 noted big bones from dark beasts, and 12 dragon daggers total so far from about 8 slayer tasks. 2 came from a black demon task, 3 from an iron dragon task, 2 from dark beasts, 4 from a steel dragon task, and I don't remeber where the last one came from.

From mid January.. hoping to keep it untrimmed when i get 99 herblore in a few weeks. Slightly off-topic, but does dieing in f2p and then telegrabbing after the next 99 still work? It should. It worked when I got my ranged cape about a month and a half ago, and I've not heard anything about it being fixed since then.

85-87 Smithing, then I got bored even though I still have supplies. Now the rest of the weekend I'll be doing slayer since it's the only skill I really enjoy other than herblore.

I'm really enjoying repairing cannons right now. At 2.5x exp, I get roughly 9589 exp per cannon, and I can fix each one in 2-3 minutes, which nets me roughly 191780-287670 smithing exp/hour. Of course, it's not a consistant exp rate since the multiplier will keep going down, but for now, I like this exp. :thumbsup:
