  1. Yes, but he said he cursed out the player, which means it was attacking that player, and is therefore mutable.

  3. You seriously expect other players to talk to you? Ever considered that their public chat might be off? Or, more likely, they're AFKing and can't keep up a conversation?
  4. MTK

Dark is correct in terms of profit. However, if you need resources to train a specific skill, you should go with that. I currently use 9 on maples (NOTE: 9 on maples IS THE SAME PRODUCTION as 10 on maples) and 6 on herbs. I like to get the birds nests, because you can often get multiple 20k+ seeds per check (and yew and mage seeds which are 70k and 240k respectively). I use the herbs to train herblore (duh) because it is only level 54 currently. It's mostly up to you, just avoid rare woods, and fishing.
  5. I don't know the exact number, but a lot. The distance is 2-3 times shorter than the shortest distances elsewhere (Nardah, Al Kharid, sometimes Rogues Den).
  6. Why didn't he deserve it? Cursing at someone is a mutable offense.
  7. Go for the D Scim. The quest isn't nearly as hard as people make it out to be, it's mostly just long and you have to pay attention. Plus the XP bonus at the end is nice too :shades:

TBH, Jagex should increase actual in game banning - have people go into the game, try to figure out if people are bots, and ban them from inside the game. I don't know how they find the bots through software methods, but it's not effective.

Then is used for time, eg. I came, then I saw, then I conquered. Than is used for comparison, eg. That girl is hotter than that girl.
  10. ...Says sw0rd95. (kidding)
  11. also not true. i cursed out a player that crashed me during slayer, turns out it was a pmod. i appealed and was unmuted in less than 2 hours. Well, that's just too bad. You deserved that mute. Honestly, crashing is a douche move, but you start off politely asking them to hop worlds or spots.
  12. D long is fairly comparable to a D scim, but the scim is definitely better. The quest isn't too bad. You can easily safespot the demon, but you have to range/mage him and you need 37+ prayer to protect from magic. The quest is more long than difficult. I would train slayer, assuming you're a member. Get charms for summoning, get herbs for Herblore, and do the quests Throne of Miscellenia and Royal Trouble. They're pretty quick and easy (did them both in one night) and MTK (the daily reward) is a super consistent way to make money.
  13. Main for non PVP use, most definitely.
  14. If he's not there and you've done the quest, it must be a bug or something.
  15. You might have to start the quest to see him. But he's definitely there.
  16. Rune mining at 99 w/ dpick and timing worlds is bad money?
  17. Shouldn't you be using melee armor for green drags? And a DFS would be better as well. And here's your revised bank: You should use a steel key ring, not loose keys.
  18. Yeah, but that's the problem. It's instant gratification. No long term plan, or really actually effective plan.
  19. I just got 99 on the weekend. Here's how I did it: -Use decorated cooking urns (cheap and a lot of extra xp means money saved) -Use Cook's Guild if you can, otherwise Rogues Den or (where I went) Nardah. I prefer Nardah because it's more secluded and the bank never moves. Plus you know when people are botting goats and you can report them. -Lobsters to 81, Swordies to 90, Monks to 92-94 (at 94 sharks don't burn, but faster xp if you start sooner and you burn very few), Sharks from 92-95 depending on where you started using them, and Rocktails to 99. I highly advise not using Rocktails till 95 because the loss from burning can be big over time. Of course, this assumes that you have Cooking Gauntlets which you should have anyway. Quest is easy and short, and the rewards are great (Cook Gaunts and Gold Gaunts)
  20. Why don't you use your position to influence an admin? Or is that not allowed... Don't do it if it's not allowed do it anyway ;P Erm... My position? Dude, I just edit weekly articles, I'm not a mod or anything :P Maybe if I give Tripsis some sour skittles Hold the Times hostage until we get a board >:]
  21. I have to disagree. I've found that many people say things like that to make themselves feel better - just by insulting you (no matter what the response) they increase their false sense of "self confidence" or "self esteem" or whatever you want to call it. In other news, just a couple days ago I was meleeing baby blues in between the blue dragon area and the black demon area in Tav dungeon (you know, the little spot with 3 baby blues) and a couple of people came in. One was fishing a slimy eel for whatever quest, Heroes I think. So they called me and another guy noobs and poor low levels, skipping over the fact that I was a higher combat than one of them and the cost of my leg armor being higher than the entire other one's outfit. I actually just laughed out loud at that. I do have experience with trolls both in real life and on the internet (4chan I'm looking at you <_<) and I can tell when people are being trolls and when they're just being bullies. But for those of of you talking about how I was/am "offended," I was/am not. I am somewhat annoyed. It's not like I went and cried or punched a wall in real life, I came to a rants section and posted a rant. It takes barely any effort or necessity to post here, let alone do something on the internet.
