As I mentioned before, uninstall/reinstall should never be necessary. :) Did you follow the tutorial article that AskVG linked to in the other article @ http://www.askvg.com/how-to-disable-hardware-acceleration-gpu-rendering-in-mozilla-firefox-4-0-to-fix-font-problem/ ??? :huh: Not many, actually, except for slightly slowing the rendering of WebGL-enabled items. Also, it puts the rendering work back entirely on the CPU, but if your browser can't talk to your GPU fast enough, then shifting the work back won't have a truly noticeable difference. On other notes, it may have the effect of helping you with font rendering at the same time. Obviously, flip the setting back on after you try turning it off if you have any super-severe issues like web content that completely breaks. Not everyone is going to trust or use such addons. You should double-check the site without those kind of addons enabled, so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. I don't happen to use those kind of addons myself, so I was stating it from the point of the normal user. :huh: Also, if you're going to mention addons, you may wish to provide links to them. Further, you may wish to note whether there are versions for FireFox/Opera/Safari/IE/etc. (You get the idea...) as well as what equivalents there are. Miner_Guy, I hate to be the letdown, but downloading is the better option for using less bandwidth. Unless you're saving to disk and/or holding static prebuffering in ram while streaming, any reverse jumps in your watching are going to completely rebuffer from where you jumped backwards to. Every rebuffer will take up additional bandwidth that you didn't wish to use, and will ultimately add up to more bandwidth used for watching by stream than by downloading and watching after. :mellow: Just for reference, YouTube is an insta-teacher in regard to this, and they seem bent on not letting people do full prebuffers anymore.
