  1. Sadly, there are no "adult worlds", to the best of my knowledge. Also, I'm 23 and kinda know how you feel. :| ... Seems like I keep running into people who are (or are acting like) little kids and finding ways to break rules 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, and a few others constantly. And worse, I am F2P not by choice (I am stuck living with my parents, who are both at least 29 years older than me), so I can't go to P2P to escape most of the awful banter I keep hearing. :( ... BTW, I'm sure there are people older than you, so go ahead and take a load off, because you're likely far from being the oldest RuneScaper out there. :) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  2. Funny, I can do the same at Minotaurs. Maybe I check back a hair more often? :-s ~Mr. Devnull
  3. Hulk, SMASH! Yeah, Vash is definitely the avatar for you. What ever happened to, "Love and Peace"? I made the apprentice stuff up - the only existing apprentice item I know of is the apprentice wand, a mage arena reward, with bonuses comparable to a staff of fire/air/earth/water. It could potentially become tradable to f2p, but the elemental staves are more desirable, for obvious reasons. The foremost reason I didn't add melee/range defense bonuses, is that (according to the items database) neither f2p mage robes, nor blue mystic, have them. You're quite right that attack without defense is useless, but attack with pseudo-defense just might cut it - hence the snare suggestion. The hole in that argument would be the whole 'r2h + d-hide' anti-mage hybrid, but again, that applies to more than just my fabricated nonsense. I believe splitbark (40 mage + 40 defense) is the earliest mage armor with significant melee defense bonuses. But I digress...another suggestion, for another thread. That's why even if special gloves/boots/cape were made, I was suggesting that the melee bonuses of normal gloves/boots/cape, at the minimum, were incorporated into special gloves/boots/cape for new, intermediate armor that F2P would have access to one way or another. At least, then that minimal defense boost would make the extra work for the upgraded mage boost clothes worth it. :) Maybe something mostly cloth with some studs or metal lining? :-s ~Mr. Devnull
  4. Nice screen grab up ^ above. : Yes, I do suggest you take the Iron Arrows with you and leave the Steel Arrows in the bank. :) ~Mr. Devnull
  5. Isn't that the normal "Leather Boots"? :-s ~Mr. Devnull
  6. 14,647 Okay........ time i do this........... ***Whips out a rocket launcher and blasts George_explosion with a few dozen rockets, then walks off...*** Yes, I LOVE executing people who try to ruin post countdowns like these. Vindictive, aren't I??? ~Mr. Devnull
  7. Even better, limit it to a quest that REQUIRES that a player has a minimum of 32 quest points before they could start it, same as for 'Dragon Slayer', and for a quest that is suggested elsewhere for mage robes to balance the F2P combat triangle. That automatically means that it would take at least 4 to 8 months before you could unlock the extra space. ~Mr. Devnull
  8. Yep. Unless Al Gore goes, then he'll take his internet with him. :uhh: The Net does NOT belong to Al Gore man... -.- ~Mr. Devnull
  9. You're a range pure, eh? Would you believe the White Knights have been slowing your training? Anywho, you'll want to switch immediately to the "Minotaur (Level 27)"s... They aren't wearing armor, which means your arrows will pierce their 'lame little hides' like a knife going through butter. ...BTW, make sure you pick up the drops. After you have about 100 to 150 iron arrows, save the steels in the bank and start using the irons for your training. This will render you with an endless supply of arrows. :) ... (I should know, seeing as I have an overload of irons in my stuff right now and don't need any others. ...) ~Mr. Devnull
  10. LOL  ... Yes, there is one super-large safe zone, sort of. There will be a fence in the room, which you can shoot over like crazy. Just use it like a shield and you will be fine. :) ~Mr. Devnull
  11. Nicely said, and it puts up a good point. If everyone quit with the insulting and name-calling and fighting with each other rudely and such, RuneScape might turn out to be such a good place that Jagex might be able to "deep-six" the word filter. Wouldn't you all like to be able to not have to find words to say what you mean because the filter makes so many 'blasted' errors? ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  12. O O o me! Why? Members has a hell of a lot more to offer than just a month of more bank space. Anyways, I wouldn't quit. I actually would play members more if they gave f2p more bank space. Yeah, you could make more gp off of us too. :P  ~Mr. Devnull
  13. Ah Thanks Lightning for the reply. Its re-assuring hearing from you that tip.it won't be "going under" anytime soon. :) And it's good to see that the admins are looking at the long term future of these boards by looking at other games to support as a fan-site. Though one question, I remember when tip.it had the 2 other games in which you guys supportered as a fansite (the 3 games including Runescape which came up when you went to "tip.it" and didn't include the /runescape. But what actually happened to them? Where they not worth having on tip.it, as they weren't really going anywhere? :? I'd love to hear a reply if you have the time to get around to it. WHOA!!! Wait-a-minute, hold the presses!!! Tip.It used to be MORE than just RuneScape?!?!?!? Hmm, maybe that explains the constant re-direct to the "/runescape/" directory... :-k ~Mr. Devnull
  14. That's what the person above you already mentioned. ~Mr. Devnull
  15. What lvl? They're talking about the same room we are both thinking of. SouthEast with "Minotaur (Level 27)"... the number of people in there dropped off after the Stronghold had a chance to lose its' odd 'flare' of initial attraction. When that happened, the number of people in it dropped way off. The lower floors are usually "virtual ghost towns"... ~Mr. Devnull
  16. What exactly do you mean? Do you mean that you can kill 5 at once? Well, basically, I get any 5 of them angry at me and then rapidly switch targets and pelt them like crazy until they're dead... So, yeah, I can be killing 5 at one time WITHOUT HELP FROM OTHERS. ~Mr. Devnull
  17. Geez. I can go 5-on-1 at the minotaurs and not break a real sweat. Sounds like you've scared yourself out of 5-on-1 situations... :P ~Mr. Devnull
  18. Sounds like an idea to me. Would at least balance for further F2P expansion. ~Mr. Devnull
  19. But she never returns my calls... ROTFLMDCFLYAO :XD: ~Mr. Devnull
  20. Tim, this sounds to me like some program got on there that has [bleep]ed your keyboard. Go get NOD32 AV (http://www.eset.com) immediately! It is beyond worth the money, and will even save you against those pesky new threats! (AND YES, IT HAS ALREADY SAVED MY REAR, AND IS BETTER THAN NORTON/MCAFEE/AVG/TRENDMICRO/ETC. ... 8-) ...) ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  21. You're gonna hate this... Ard_Choille LOCKED that thread. :( Anyway, I support. I have been really in hatred of these "Interface Updates". I WANT THE OLD INTERFACES BACK, BUT WITH MOUSE SCROLL FUNCTIONALITY!!! ~Mr. Devnull
  22. This thread might have good ideas, but I see they need work. Bah, another idea short of being mobbed with supporters. #-o ~Mr. Devnull
  23. P2P-Only rooms on the cooks guild?!?!? Are you nuts?!?!? Jagex intended that the cooks guild be basically all F2P, except for like dairy things like butter and cheese. I see no real point in creating zones and blocking them from F2P. :shame: Good ideas, but those new sections should be F2P-available! [Edit] ~Mr. D. V. Devnull
  24. I'm not intent on just up and flaming, yet there is not much I can say. The prayers you suggest might work well when integrated with the other combat modes, but I really don't think it would work well on standalone. So, you do have an idea, but it needs work. Best of luck to you! ~Mr. Devnull
