Back to square one....when does it become a baby? The unanswerable question.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
There should be a more complex way to figure out the MVP. I hate when I've got alo of kills and just one or two deaths and somebody becomes MVP by getting 1 more kill than me but 10 more deaths. Lets face it, somebody who gets 21-19 is not as good as somebody with 20-2. Maybe taking off points when you're killed would make it a bit better.

Yes. Btw what do you mean by "free"? It is actually free, as in no cost... no need for the " ".

Well if the Democrats where going to choose a candidate just for the sake of making history Hilary would've won easily. Women make up just over half the population while African Americans make up a lot less. So in short, yes he would be.

Flag Burning.
Saying that you could care less suggests that you do care. The saying is 'I couldn't care less." Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine.

Street Racing
One of my cousins died when her boyfriends car hit a lampost, they might not have been racing but the same principle applies. Speeding and showing off in cars on public streets is for [bleep]ing morons. Edit - Just re-read OP's later post, if it is a properly organised, legal event with proper safety and security then it is a different matter entirely.

Football/Soccer Transfers
Lmao Man City were a poor club when I went to bed on Sunday night and by the time I woke up they were the world's richest club, it was hilarious. I can't believe that they got Robinho although I think that Man City getting him was more to do with Real Madrid making a point of not letting him go to Chelsea than anything else. The new owners also have a sense of humour which I like, Al-Fahim was on tv saying that if Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to play for the world's biggest club then he should go to city which was funny, supposedly they also plan to bid for Fabregas, Torres and Messi which will be interesting. That being said, I don't think they'll be able to challenge for maybe 2 seasons as it'll take a while to build up the squad. Also, does anyone else predict a massive rise in Man City 'fans' trying to glory hunt because of their new found wealth? Berbatov going was inevitable. I think i was terrible how Berbatov and Man Utd treated Tottenham during the whole saga, they basically had to sell Berbatov or they'd have been stuck with his sulking until January at least. I wonder who Fergie will drop to accommodate Berbatov? Surely he can't play Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo and Berbatov is the same system.

Hmmm what happened to the offending statement? Are we backtracking or did tip.it take it out?

Was there any need for that comment?

Currently Reading
Iain Banks grew up in my town. I'm re-reading "Easy Riders, Raging Bulls - How the Sex 'n' Drugs 'n' Rock 'n' Roll Generation Saved Hollywood." I'm finishing reading that until I can find a cheap copy of "Medici - Godfathers of the Renaissance."

Grizzly Man Diaries
I haven't seen the series Grizzly Man Diaries but I have seen Werner Herzog's feature length documentary Grizzly Man ( I'm reading that the Diaries series is an expansion on Herzog's documentary using Treadwell's video diaries). Grizzly Man was a fantastic documentary, at times it was like watching a car crash seeing how obsessive Timothy Treadwell was and seeing how far he was willing to go in his work while knowing that ultimately it would lead to his death.

Forced marriages happen for religious reasons surprisingly often. The fact that Sarah Palin doesn't practice a religion that does that or lives in a country that condones forced marriage is irrelevant. I'm only using it as an example of parents forcing their children to do unreasonable thing against their will which potentially will effect them for the rest of their lives.
-
Sarah Palin
Well you're advocating that forcing her to keep the child is fine because she isn't 18, why is forcing a child into marriage different?
-
Sarah Palin
That doesn't stop parents taking their children abroad for forced marriages.
-
Sarah Palin
You don't have the freedom to make your own choice if you are under 18. In this case it's irrelevant. And what is abortion if not murder? It might be legal but my definition of murder is ending the life of a human. If a baby is not human than what is it? I guess you might be on Obama's side of this where if a baby that is old enough to survive outside the mother somehow survives an abortion and is born alive they should let it die. By that definition, forced marriage is fine as well.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
If they're the layabouts of tomorrow, does that make you the snob of tomorrow? Or is that the snob of today? The vast majority of people tend to mature and out-grow the sort of phases they go through during adolescence.
-
Sarah Palin
Now if she'd advocated proper sex-education rather than abstinence-until-marriage education, maybe her daughter wouldn't have become pregnant.

Do individual states have constitutions? I thought they were only subject to US constitution. Seperate state laws/politics is the one area I struggle with in America.

Lowering of the drinking age to 18
Do you mean limiting the amount you drink at certain ages? If so, it's completely unenforceable.

Sweet16s/Debuts: Big waste of money or BIGGEST waste of mone
I find it amazing how those people act on My Super Sweet 16, it's like they have no grip on reality and worse still, their parents accept and encourage it. I'm a simple sort of guy, on my 21st (I turned 21 on 22/8) I just went out drinking with my mates, it was a pretty good night, I think I paid for one drink all night. I didn't go out until the 23rd to celebrate though

Disaster Movie...? :Wall:
that's $2.2 million more than it costed to make the "movie" :wall: The $2.2M may be more than the negative cost but you still have to take promotion and distribution into consideration. Plus, the fact that it took less than 20% of its expected first week gross will surely put any studio off producing another one of these terrible films.

I don't recall him saying he was a bigot because he was in the army, he just said he was a bigot.
