Holocaust Denial, the BNP and freedom of speech
Just as I point of interest whats the BNP view on the Irish? I mean eventhough they're white they're not British (trust me don't call an Irishman British). Just wondering because my Gran is Irish so I'm just curious to see if I'm one of those who could be "offered" repatriation if they somehow got in power.

Holocaust Denial, the BNP and freedom of speech
A BNP supporter calling people fascist, definately the most ironic thing I've heard this week.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Anyone else read about todays football corruption arrests? They arrested Harry Redknapp (Portsmouth manager), Peter Storrie (Portsmouth Chief Excecutice), Amdy Faye (Rangers player and former Portsmouth player) and reportedly Willie McKay (Scottish Agent) and Milan Mandaric (former Portsmouth Chairman & current Leicester City Chairman). Seems like something funny was going on at Portsmouth when they either bought/sold Amdy Faye (I read somewhere that it has to do with Faye's transfer from Portsmouth to Newcastle in 2005). I guess this rules Redknapp out of the running for the England job (if he was a contender in the first place).

Russell Brand
I find him funny in small doses but after a while he can be a bit irritating. He's pretty popular in the UK but he'll never break USA because of his little Bin Laden stunt the day after 9/11.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
I agree with you on Davies, Souness & McAllister aren't tactically brilliant unfortunately I think those are our only options because despite our recent good form, the job still has a limited appeal (aside from patriotism) because of the lack of cash involved and the fact that we aren't a big footballing nation. Capello or Lippi would be dream managers and would go down well in my opinion because they bring such high reputations but I really can't see either as a Scotland manager anytime soon. The situation is worrying because at the moment the job is being seen as a stepping stone for managers who are looking to get back into club management.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Don't want to sound too cocky, but I expect either Celtic or Rangers to win that cup most years.. assuming they take it seriously (since our fixture lists is already pretty full) I think its an international tournament between us, both bits of Ireland and Wales not a club thing. Anyway I'm disappointed at McLeish leaving the Scotland job for such a mediocre team. I'd understand him leaving for a decently well established EPL team but Birmingham are going down unless Carson Jung completes his takeover soon and starts pumping some money in for the January transfer window. As for his successor I'm not too sure who I want. Unless we look abroad (which is unlikely considering what happened last time we did) we only have 3 options; One is Gary McAllister who interviewed well last time around when McLeish got the job but has little management experience at any level and none at international. Second we have Billy Davies who did well to get Derby into the Premier League then didn't get enough cash to spend when they got there but is solid. Thirdly we have Souness. Good player but a shocking manager with a history of going to clubs spending a fortune and doing badly. If he gets the job I'll take a nosedive off the Forth Road Bridge. I can't see who else can/will be in the frame.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Before losing 6 - 0 in the return leg if my memory serves me correctly  I think only Wales have an impossible group in this draw though. Thats true, to my shame I couldn't remember the precise number we were beaten by so I left it out to avoid posting the wrong score, well that and the fact that I was still trying to repress that game from my memory.

UK population could soar to 90m
Yeah, me and my blinkers thats the issue here. I never said that anyone who cares about immigration is a bigot I said you were and I stand by that. I pointed out the political reasoning behind why as a BNP supporter you made a post regarding immigration. Look I've made my point and my stance is clear. You've made numerous points that show hypocracy and ignorance. Now I could go on and on, take some time and then prove my point but even then you'll try to wriggle out of it and argue that black was white (no pun intended) just so you could think that you've got the best of the argument. Instead I'm going to sit down watch some TV then start my design assignment while reading tip.it and relaxing.

Maybe the England team should invest in a Geiger Counter to check their food when they're traveling then :) . I know that was in bad taste but I couldn't resist

UK population could soar to 90m
Ouch, right in the eye. Its news, i said in my post that i'm not posting it because i'm a member of the BNP, just because i think its valid news that could effect people on the forum. Shielding people from government predictions isn't a good thing. Also with the "bigot" comment, you might as well go the whole way and just call me a nazi. It really wouldn't be much of a stretch when you break down the details would it? It's no coincidence that your posting about immigration, while being a supporter of a racist party (although now they try to hide it because of legal reasons) and lets not pretend that it isn't. I'm not under any illusions as to the reasons behind this post - spreading your rubbish about etho-nationalism and your xenophobia to others to legitimise your horrible little views to yourself and others and anyone who understands what the BNP are truly about should be able to see that. So lets cut the crap about being shielded from government predictions. Quite frankly you and your party's views disgust me. I'd much rather a nation full of immigrants and foreigners rather than a nation of people like yourself. I find you, your so-called political party's views and your avatar quite offensive. Now you can try to be clever and twist what I say to make a point but lets face it, we both know what the BNP are really about you can try to mask it and deny it but its still true and we both know it. As a footnote I'd like to point out that if I am in anyway punished by tip.it for this flaming it would be a complete hypocracy considering the offensive content that I'm flaming.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Another perpetually over-confident Englishman. Thats a harder group than you had for the Euro 2008 qualifying. As for us, not too bad, could've been worse. Holland aren't easy but we beat them a while back (even with Bertie Vogts in charge which is a miracle) and hopefully we can repeat that. Norway can be a handfull but I'd prefer them to other teams in their pot (ie. Ukraine & Serbia) and Iceland are always unpredictable. I'm pretty confident we can atleast take a playoff place out of this though.

UK population could soar to 90m
I wonder what reason a supporter of a bigoted party like the BNP has in posting about hypothetical population increases.....

The UK government loses 25m records.
I'm sorry but I feel a need to question you here. What exactly could either Brown or Darling done to ensure this didn't happen? Likewise, they appoint people, who are payed bucket-loads of money, to ensure this doesn't happen. As for "answering" to the problems, he's ordered an investigation into why this was allowed to happen. We'll await the results of that report and see what action he takes before jumping to hasty conclusions. Are you seriously suggesting Brown's job is to keep an eye on every single person (and there are thousands) who works in an office related to government?[/hide] The Tories won't profit from this either. All this will do in undermine the already fragile confidence the public have in our political system. According to ITN news (about half an hour ago) the reason they were being posted was because of cost cutting procedures that were put in place by the previous Chancellor, Gordon Brown, so it may just benefit the Tories.

The UK government loses 25m records.
They left a single junior administrative officer in charge (who has now resigned) when he should never have been though. Thats not necessarily Brown's fault but its definitely a failing of the organisation's protocols in my opinion.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Fair enough, but I still don't see any logical comparison with what happened here and what happened to Urs Meier. No death threats, no comparison.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
We're upset with a legitimately poor decision but there's been nothing extreme like what happened to Urs Meier (who made the right decision - Terry impeded Ricardo). In short, there is no comparison to be made here.

OH TEH NOES! [My Lit Teacher is a PETA Activist >_>]
It's good that your teacher challenges your ideas, it makes you think about what you believe and helps you think for yourself. When I did Modern Studies(which consists of politics) at high school, our teacher challenged our beliefs and views constantly no matter what they were and no matter how they reflected/conflicted with his own opinions, constantly playing devils advocate with us. What did was make us think for ourselves rather than doing what alot of people do - just blindly follow the beliefs of our families/parents. Challenging your opinion is very different from forcing a belief on you.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
We will have a slight chance in this match only because it is at home. The crowd is our 12th man. Even if we lose I'm still going to be very drunk tomorrow I think. I don't care how badly we play, I don't even care if we need to cheat to win today. The result is the only thing that matters.

He's "BARROID" Now - Barry Bonds indicted on perjury charges
before roids after you be the judge In that first picture he did have quite big arms and a wide neck. Plus the second picture he's wearing that tight shirt - anyone can look like Superman in one of those things. Plus the 2nd picture is alot closer than the other which vastly alters the perspective I don't know if he's guilty of not but those pictures don't do the issue justice.

Oh wow...horrible story
Mine is a topical news item tbh Fair enough but where is the room for discussion? Everyone will post about how terrible this is and say "poor kids" but thats about it, just a news article and a number of similar replies.
