career choices
My only advice is pick something you enjoy even if it won't lead to a career that'll make you immensly rich. Trust me you don't want to be a year or two into a course then realise that it's making you miserable.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Thats pretty much what Jens Lehmann said about England - that they haven't been successful because they're not mentally tough enough. He has a point though look at Englands squad as individuals, as much as it pains me as a Scot to say, on an individual basis England has the best starting 11 in Europe but yet they can't do the business when it matters. I think thats the reason why England have never won a penalty shootout in a competative tournament, it's like all belief disappears. I don't think it's a problem of not having the leaders on the pitch because I think you've had plenty since 66 (Butcher, Pearce, Gerrard, Adams etc.) I reckon a big part of it is the media and fans expecting too much. Before every tournament all you hear is "will this be the one?" and "England can do it this time." The best example of these over-expectations was highlighted before the last world cup when it was discovered that England was the only nation to have pre-arranged their world cup celebrations in the event that they won.

Is that the same Shinobi that was in the classic video games for the Sega megadrive/genesis? I had the games when I was young, if thats the same character then thats a film I would like to see.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Killer (1989) (Dip huet seung hung) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097202/ I enjoyed it but not as much as I enjoyed Hard Boiled. That being said it's still a great film. I've seen it a few times before and I just realised that big parts of the dialogue in The Killer is used in Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx album - which is understandable as there are plenty of great quotable lines.

Random things you have always wanted to know
Actually that is a complete myth. While the average brain does not utilise it's full potential, it does not use such a tiny amount - if it did you would be considered severely mentally handicapped thats if you were able live at all. The brainpower myth is thought to have originated from "pyschics", "mind readers" and other similar fraudsters to justify and substantiate their claims and powers.

You lose all credit when you use prisonplanet as a reference.

Someone help me with finding this song, don't know the name!
Thats the song from Platoon! If you had said Platoon I would've got that, it's a nice dramatic piece (although it's a little overused).

Abortion.
Have you ever for a second considered that people have human and by their very nature are not perfect. People make mistakes, even you, unless you are the very first perfect being. It's easy to sit baack and look down upon people from your moral highground (this isn't just directed to limpbizkit btw) but at the end of the day nobody is perfect, life has a habit of throwing in something unexpected that completely changes things - people have to deal with things that they don't want to have to deal with and it nobody should feel the need to pass judgement on how people deal with their own issues.

Abortion.
Do you have any idea of how long and drawn out the adoption process is? It can take several years for couples to go through all the checks, meet every criteria and to find a suitable child - things aren't as simple as finding an unwanted newborn and passing it to somebody who wants it. In many cases, by the time a couple has met all the criteria required there is a lack of children at the age that many adopting couples would prefer ie. newborns and extremely young children. This means that many children above a certain age are trapped in the system because they're unwanted by potential adoptive parents because lets face it, not many people want to adopt a child over the age of 4/5 (which is a shame although somewhat understaandable fact of life). Really, what I'm trying to say is that the adoption system is already over-loaded at the moment in Britain and isn't an ideal option although I'd agree that it's better than abortion but it's not as simple as many people think. The system is awkward and complicated and this means that many children end up in care for long periods or banded around numerous foster parents throughout their childhood.

What are you up to next year?
Well I'm just going into my 3rd Year of my Publishing degree and hopefully I'll find myself another part-time job because I desperately need the cash. Other than that I'll just be doing the usual, going out, drinking with my mates etc. Oh and maybe I'll go on holiday if I get my passport sorted out.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
I'm so surprised at Tottenham, 0 points out 6. They need a defender or two or they won't break into the top 4 like I expected. Lol you shouldn't build a team around such an expensive player then. I had a so so week, a few of my players didn't play but the ones who did play did well - I even played Gary O'Connor this week and he got a debut goal :D .

Someone help me with finding this song, don't know the name!
If you have a mic you could record yourself humming the tune, if you were able to do that it would help. Otherwise we could be here until we are all old and grey and still not figure it out.

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
Well, I'm just not that clever. If I'd known that I'd still have ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã400 to drink away  .

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
Lol yeah thats true but if I'd have gotten an X-box I'd have had to throw away ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã300 worth of PS2 games. Sony are like drug dealers - they get you hooked on at a low price but when the new stuff comes out they bump up the price and give you no choice :wall: .

Sony sent me this free through the post this morning because I signed up for the playstation network (which was free).

50's threat...
It's all part of the marketing ploy to sell his mediocre albums. While i'm not a fan of either artist I think that Kanye is a lot more talented by far than 50. Unfortunately for the reasons Bubs has said he knows he's going to sell more which is why he said this. And even if he loses he's still gonna pump out crap with guest singers and artists. I'm in complete agreement with you.

PS3 Wii or 360 !!!!!!
I've had a PS3 for around 5 months as well and I haven't had one single problem yet - not even a single freeze yet. Bloody fanboys....

50's threat...
It's just another cynical ploy to help promote his album. He's already started to diss Kanye and alot of other artists and this is the perfect way to stir up controversy.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Thats a bit like what Fergie's done with Carrick and Hargreaves - over 30M on two players who play in the same area and carry out a similar role. I can't see how those 2 can play together, he can't drop a winger, he doesn't have an attacker who can get goals as a lone striker and there's little chance he'll play 3 at the back. So where do they go? The only option is to drop Scholes but he's one of Man Utd's best, and most importantly, consistant players.

What movie(s) did you last see?
The Battle of Algiers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058946/ Great film, not your average war film. A great veiw of the Algerian revolution. [hide]I still can't believe the Colonel had Ali blown up in his hiding hole at the end..[/hide]

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
I'd agree with that, he's not worth the money being paid for him (then again who?). As far as a second choice strikers go though he isn't bad, if either Berbatov or Keane (they seem to be the first choices atm) are out he'll give Jol options.

UEFA Champions League/Cup - Euro 2008 - Leagues & Cups
Derby will go down they don't have the quality to survive or the money to invest. Wigan don't have too much money to play with either and they have a relatively untested manager. Who'll join them is beyond me. I don't see Sunderland going down, (not just based on todays result) they've made decent signings in Richardson and Gordon but they might slip a bit near Christmas time. Birmingham have the money to invest to keep themselves up and I think they'll spend in January to ensure that. Bolton will slip down the table without Big Sam but I think they'll be safe. Despite losing today I still think Tottenham will do well this season (top 4) just because they have quality throughout their squad and the strength in depth to cope with injuries and suspensions when the season goes on.
