Construction is cool, but not that cool. It wouldn't be worth joining members just for construction unless you were going to do something with your house after you reach higher levels. Or if you had a ton of money to burn and wanted to massively increase your total for a month :thumbsup:

you can hire servants to do your banking for you. I would say runecrafting, because it takes a long time unless you want to burn millions of gp on it.

Your sig shows us your awesome combat stats, with goals which would give you much more than 1 lvl... and you have a link to your character who doesn't rank in the hiscores... Incredible. I'd like to see someone try to out-do you. =D> On topic: At lvl 75 construction you can build the highest level prayer alter in your house, which gives you 3.5x prayer experience per bone if you have the alters lit when you bury bones in there. Ectoplasm gives 4x experience per bone, but it takes much longer, so that probably the majority bury bones in their house. You also need marrentil if I'm not mistaken, so its actually good for something now \

I do that too. Not for the rewards though.. I do it to make sure I get my runes back. I also examine everything for no reason. And I double-click items in my inventory all the time, which is a habit I developed to keep me logged in while I was fishing.

I'll be brutally honest here. If your stupidity/ignorance gets you killed, and I am in the right place at the right time, I don't owe you anything, and even asking for "your items" back is just as bad as begging. Unless it was a friend of mine who died, I wouldn't hesitate to keep the items for myself. But this is different from intentionally causing the death of another player, in a non-wilderness area where killing each other is not supposed to be part of the game. I'm not going to make you die because it's mean-spirited, and probably every instance where I might be able to would count as item scamming or bug abuse.

Nah. Even if the initial rush has died down, the skill itself never will. It's always going to be useful for the free teleports, faster prayer exp, cheap barrow repairs, lecterns, easy leveling, and of course showing off. Even just the easy levels is enough to keep people training it. People would train construction even if it did nothing for them.. If you don't believe me, just look at firemaking.

I've had ahrim skirt and loop half key, if that counts as a double. Otherwise, no. Good job on that.

I don't think you would have had to drop it to talk to him, just not wearing it should have been enough. Also you can't really be entirely bad, as you were able to get the armor in the first place, and the lag wasn't your fault.

Magic attack seems like it should be higher.. I have +90 with mediocre gear, so I would think it maxes out higher than 106

Well we have crystal bows already... I have to agree with you though. Anything more than the 2-rune staffs we have now is just stupid. Also I hope that no future 2-rune staffs replace air runes... Airs are probably most commonly used rune in the game. Anyway, the elemental runes aren't even hard to get. And for the spells that use the most of them, you can replace them all with one of the currently existing staffs.

If it were as good as powermining iron, all the people powermining iron would move to the ess mines. I think jagex really intended the update to slow inflation, as pure ess can only be mined by p2p, and most of us are too lazy to do it. I don't think jagex would want to do something that would end up putting pure ess into the game at a faster rate than it is now.

Probably not. Sometime during the quest the coordinator will tell you that where the rings take you depends on where you've been. Anyway I'm sure it's been thought of before they added a tele there. I'd go check it out myself, if I hadn't done the holy grail quest yesterday.

They will have some time before they get killed though, because verac doesnt hit through prayer that hard, so they would have enough time to run. (smack! what about the 2 15's in a row?!... Luck loves me.. :P) Maybe... But alot of them are still expecting prayer to work for them. So they probably aren't watching their health and can get killed easily. I don't see why they had to leave it out anyway. It's not people aren't going to notice by themselves that verac can hurt them.

Sure. *PICS* The items circled in red are all connected to the same hotspot. So if it were workingcorrectly, they would all be opulent curtains right now. Except the teak decoration. It's meant to be like that. Otherwise you'd have curtains and a wall behind it, which would look rather ordinary. Even if there was curtains on the other side, it'd be stupid having a window there when the doorway is one step next to it :P You may be right about that. however I'm still pretty sure the west one should be curtains. Teak combat room decorations over the window don't look very good. Also I know there are other spots in my house where curtains are infront of a wall. I'll check that in a little bit.

It bothers me that they didn't put this on the front page, as it's going to get a number of lower lvl barrowers killed finding out the hard way - especially if they rely entirely on prayer pots and don't bring food.

There's yet another bug in construction. Here's what I got when I tried to add opulent curtains to my dining room: the north/east walls have teak decorations, which look like the ones in the build menu. The west wall has the other type of teak decoration, which shows up in the combat room. the south wall is opulent curtains, so they atleast got something right :roll: It doesn't bother me, actually I found it kind of amusing. What does everyone else think about this?

And I was about to go to barrows. I'm glad I read this first.
