  1. Well, I've closed in my house, so the only way in/out is through a dungeon. The plan is to build a stairs room right next to the oubliette, which comes out in a garden outside. But it kind of ruins it if someone can just climb right back up to the throne room when they fall in.
  2. Is there a way to make it impossible to climb back into my throne room if a player falls into the oubliette?
  3. I'm 18. In Runescape that's probably a good 4-7 years above the average, not more than a year or two on this forum, if that.
  4. This is gonna be a tough one... Ooh, I know! I could attack other players in the wilderness. Just imagine, being out in the wilderness..then another player comes along, and you kill him. If only I could do that.
  5. i dunno if its any better than just using chaos. To get the max price for your rune ores you have to hop between worlds for every one you sell, and you'll spend a good 2-3 hours in the shop. with chaos you have enough tokkul for an onyx after a couple minutes.
  6. another thing to consider is bankspace, especially in f2p. before i became a member I would have had trouble trying to fit 2-3 different kinds of fish in my bank along with all the other crap that I had to hang on to.
  7. A lamp while i was hunting got me my last slayer lvl. besides that, nothing too strange.
  8. Let's see.. I'd like to be able to be injured to near-death and fully recover within 90 minutes; and I'd like to be able to stay in tremendous physical condition eating only seafood and chocolate cake and never getting any exercise.
  9. Step 1: dump some compost on a patch of dirt (make sure it's the right patch of dirt) Step 2: throw a couple of seeds on the patch. Step 3: Water the seeds. Step 4: Come back in an hour and pick up some nice, juicy watermelons Step 5: Use the watermelons to make more compost, and repeat from beginning. Honestly, you'd be better off using a real gardening book. Sorry, couldn't resist that one. I'm sure there are places where runescape will teach you some valuable lesson, but farming isn't one of them.
  10. I kind of like agility. One thing I like about it is that you don't get anything out of it, besides the shortcuts and the better running. What this does is discourage anyone who's in it for the money, so it's a little more of an accomplishment to have a high level. Another is that you don't buy exp for it, unlike just about all the other skills in the game. It's generally assumed you can't buy exp in fishing, wc, slayer, combat, and so on. yet people shell out for feathers, a dragon axe, cannon+ammo, guthans, whip, fire cape, fury, and so on, just to make it go faster. There's still plenty of time and effort involved and you can't instantly trade cash for levels as you can elsewhere, but the more wealthy are still at an advantage when it comes to raising their skills. Just about everything needed for the fastest agility experience is obtained for free. It's possible to speed up agility a little by buying super energy pots or something, but i assume this doesn't happen much. the reason is that most of us don't keep agility very high up on our to-do list, so we probably have a sufficient number of pots we made ourselves by the time we decide to do any serious training.
  11. A new player needs a lot of help getting started, because Runescape seems so complicated. They go to the high lvls because to them combat is the only obvious sign of experience and know-how. Low lvls outnumber high lvls by a ton, and even more in f2p. So a lot of times we'll get burnt out by so many questions, and we just sort of pretend the low lvl isn't there. I'm guilty of this myself sometimes. It doesn't solve anything, because they still don't know the answer to their question and they just move on to the next player, and the next, and so on. I guess if nothing else, we high lvls should atleast direct our admirers to the knowledge base or something
  12. Just do whatever it is you like to do in the game. Try to enjoy yourself. If this is not possible, you should probably stop playing for a while. Pretty much the same stuff everyone else has said before me.
  13. i did it on my first try on day one. And i didn't know people were tearing out their hair over it until today. 80 agility will do that, i guess.
  14. alching rares is different from your example in that there was a single entity that was able to buy/destroy enough coffee to have an impact on the price, and we don't really have that here in runescape.
  15. Granted, that's what your boss pays you now  I wish the evil Starbucks empire would die.
  16. 8/10 the blue guy has a white-ish trimmed shield for some reason.. i thought they were supposed to match :P
  17. Granted, these characters are formed into a cruel insult. your mom i wish that i was a super genius.
  18. whatever that came out to, is wrong :-w I'm gonna guess around 1500
  19. It's a more disrespectful way of telling you, to say the least. You might even say it's a bit sarcastic. :-w Either way its a pretty big no-no :shame: A train leaves Los Angeles at 3:52 PM going east at 488 miles an hour, (i wish i had a train that fast) while a passenger jet departs from Miami International Airport twelve minutes later, flying west at 755 miles an hour. The plane's engine explodes and the plane crashes into the train. What was the closest major city to the site of the crash?
  20. nobody goes to the wildy with uncooked food, especially if they're bringing valuable items with them. Besides that, any decent pker will have you dead long before you're able to get your food cooked. Common sense dictates you generally cook your food before you go out there. I'll agree that firemaking isn't the most useful skill out there, but there is shade burning.. which also gives prayer exp, i think... For being as easy to raise as it already is, I wouldn't see the logic in it being more useful than what it is now.
  21. granted, you never find out what you got out of your wish. I wish for a pool table.
  22. I'm not psychic or anything. The places mentioned by myself and others probably will not be the only places where players can hunt. The developers will probably use creatures that are already there, and they can add a low lvl dungeon just about anywhere they want, so don't worry about that.
  23. The combination of having 1289 total, 83 combat, between 7-8million total exp and your rsn starting with the letter "C" is a bannable offense.
