  1. one other thing you might want to consider is loading time. if you are doing a lot of training like this, you might want to remove rooms that you can afford to replace later. And this way your house should load faster each time you enter. Ideally there would only be the 3 rooms being used, but I'm sure most people don't want to go that far.
  2. Because you can put an altar and a portal to Canifis in your house. Anyway, I'd say that thieving is most useless, and ranged is boring.
  3. Medium rare with a side order of chips. I actualy like them bang out of the blue, with no warning so people dont have the chance to stock up on all the materials so they can rip other people off with them. I think you're talking about farming here. As i remember, the majority of seeds actually raised in price after the release of farming. The only thing that was overpriced was the tools. If someone paid 10k for a rake which they could have easily stolen from farmers, it was nobody's fault but their own.
  4. Here's a thought.. maybe a completely different skillset. sort of like the spellbooks we have to switch now between ancient/lunar/normal mage. That would be a pretty sweet update... :ohnoes:
  5. I'd gladly power train any one of these crap skills, just to raise my total. and I know I'm not alone in this. Where is this game coming to? :ohnoes:
  6. nah, go ahead. I'm sure they enjoy themselves, once they've had their jello.
  7. If you were to put your house in Taverley, then you could run/tele there and get your butler to bank for you. It's a much shorter walk.
  8. i had to talk to brimstall first before i was able to do any of that myself. and my first kill didnt count, so i had to go back and kill that one again. just talk to brimstall and see if that does the trick.
  9. I'd reduce my 19m exp in fletching to zero, to raise my slayer by 9.5m exp. abyss demons here i come \
  10. I guess you could say I'm against arrow stealing. It doesn't bother me though, because I'll use my trusty broad arrows if I'm worried about losing them. To me it doesn't seem worth the few hundred coins you might earn, so I couldn't think of any other reason to do it besides maybe to piss someone off. Not a good way to make friends.
  11. I train to raise my total. That's it. I don't have a list of individual reasons why I train each of my skills.
  12. For melee, the boots from the Stronghold of Security are slightly better than climbing boots. Same strength bonus, but with an extra point of defense and some magic/range attack penalties.
  13. Mine was during the Swan Song quest. I kept forgetting things when I went to make combo runes, so I had to do a lot of running between edge, the abyss, alters and al kharid. I think I burned up 8 talismans before I got it right.
  14. I think you're right. They're running out of space to put stuff. We haven't had an actual land expansion in a long time now. It's all been dungeons and islands and that sort of thing.
  15. maybe Jagex should just give f2p the desert areas and the rest of Karjama. It'll shut most of em up for awhile even if they can't do anything with it.
  16. It's bad enough that the different beverages are out there. Why get a skill to 99 when you can drink something at 95 and still be able to do everything? Usually not even that high. There's no reason anyone needs to be able to pray for it instead.
  17. Hmm.. I wonder, can those be flatpacked? Probably not, since they're useful.
  18. If you get scammed it's your own fault. There's no reason to make everyone else wait 5 seconds every time they trade. And the delay isn't going to stop people anyway, if they're in a mad rush because they think they're getting a great deal. There are warnings all over the runescape site to check the 2nd trade window every trade, and somebody (me this time) always posts on every thread on this subject saying to just check the 2nd trade screen to avoid being scammed. the warnings are all around you, you can't blame the window for allowing you to ignore it.
  19. Remember that, if you get scammed, it's partly your fault for not checking the 2nd trade screen, or whatever you did that got you scammed. I would agree that the scammer should lose their items, since possibly most of them were obtained through scamming. But the victim doesn't deserve to receive the items in there, just because he fell for a scam.
  20. Really? How? If no one has cash, how can people charge tons for items? Someone can spam "SELLING 1K HIDES 5000K" for hours at end, but if no one has 5000k, or even 5k, how is he going to sell?If all the gp in runescape disappeared overnight, it wouldnt change the value of whatever armor i have in my bank. I just wouldn't be able to get anywhere near as much money for it, because gp is rarer and now worth more. Only difference is, the armor would be worth more too, because it also disappears from everyone's bank. And then nobody could get it anyway, so it would be even more expensive. And here's the best part: the economy gets to multiply every few days, because all the players started with nothing. It won't get rid of inflation, just make it worse. #-o You miss the whole point. People WILL sell items, they will want the cash. There is NO WAY that people won't lower the price of items so other people will buy them. If you can't understand this, then ask someone else, preferably some famous merchant.I never said people wouldn't sell their items. But they are also going to price gouge and get as much money as they can, which is going to be a higher price because there will be fewer of the items too. Remember the first day when there were [insert item here]? They were way overpriced because there weren't many of them, and the rich players were willing to fork over to be the first to have it. Same thing would happen here, only with every item instead of the newly released ones. I'll admit that i'm not the sharpest chair on the table, so if I see any famous merchants I'll ask them about it.
  21. Hmm.. I'll have to check my bank tomorrow to see if i got anything from my barrows trips earlier today

  23. I hope you're joking about this. Sounds cool, but, how would that happen?
  24. Cool guide. I do this myself, even though I'm p2p and plan to stay that way for a long time. It helps to keep my bank organized because I don't have to drag items back up to where they were when i take them out.
