My dreams are always cut short just when they're starting to get good. And then I can't remember what they were about.

I didn't do well in high school (2.3 gpa), and I think it was because I didn't try unless I saw the value of what I was doing. Now I'm in college, all of my classes are related to my future career, and I am doing much better. Because I understand why I need the classes. I also realized that a lot of stuff in high school was more important than I thought, but nobody ever really explained that to me. That's not to say it was their fault, but I do think teachers should be able to explain why their classes are important, and a lot of them just can't.

I got caught playing an internet game, and my masculinity has been questioned ever since. I think it was Bloons.

I've got no qualms about eating something that's already dead, but I wouldn't eat a live chicken, nor would I pull a carrot out of the ground and eat it raw.

That kind of a system would be nice to have. 1471 an hour is absurdly low, though. And you're talking about one of the more expensive items in the game. It has got to be higher. Also, no minimum price. Remember, the system was made so players could help their friends. So you have to be able to do it for free.

The way I see it, a book of knowledge is worth 1-1.5k instant experience in the skill that is most difficult to level, which means either slayer or summoning. For the sake of the argument, I'll pick slayer. Let's say you get a slayer task, and it's 190 fire giants. You will probably spend around 2.5-3 hours killing all those giants, which will net you about 21k exp. At 90 slayer it will take 16 of those books to match the same slayer exp you would get fighting the fire giants. So you figure, what's the most money a person can make in 3 hours? I don't know the real number, but let's say you could make 750k per hour like someone else said. Which means 2.25m in 3 hours. Then we'll divide that number by 16, because it took 16 lamps to save 3 hours training slayer. We end up with 140,625 gp. You buy books of knowledge at 140k each, you use them on slayer, you spend all the time you saved earning it back, and you would break even. But hold on a second. You're not just paying for slayer exp. You're paying for speed and convenience. So the price just went way up. There's no formula for that, but I'm going to say 300-400k at the very least, because of their rarity, and because the price would be driven by the rich players who need thousands of books and don't mind spending the money to get 99 slayer right away. So there you have it. My detailed analytical dissection of a hypothetical question. That's what RuneScape is all about.

The summoning skill ought to make these revenant guys more manageable, unless they learn how to summon things themselves. One big difference between revenants and pkers is that pkers would attack each other.

The whole egg/incubator thing makes it sound like that first part of summoning will be kind of like farming. Maybe you can leave the egg in the incubator and come back for it after an hour. And maybe at higher summoning levels you can turn up the temperature in the incubator to make your egg hatch faster.

I've got plenty of eggs (about 10 of each besides raven) and I think I will just use them up and be done with summoning until it gets cheaper to train.

30k is still not great, but I guess it's not as pitiful and you can at least do something with it.

I think the guy was in a bad mood and also wanted to train as fast as he could, because he knew his mom would not let him play rs anymore after she saw his report card :shame: Do not worry about it. I am sure your grades are good enough to make your mom happy.

For all the times Runescape has been ruined in the past, it has actually held up really well. It seems a lot of updates are hated at first. Some things you can't do the same way anymore, some people will get angry and leave. But I think most will come back eventually and life will go on.

I got 85 slayer today. Had a party and 4 people showed up, and I dropped about 3m in stuff. I also messed up and missed the pic when i leveled. Then they agreed to repeat their messages and I messed it up again. So there's no pic from my 85 slayer :wall: Well, time to go get some whips.

I dunno how you do it. 2 lvls in a day is something i can almost never pull off anymore.

didn't think to mention it, but I got my karamja achievement diary finished on Sunday. Then today I finished the new one for Varrock. I hung on to the 10k exp lamp so I could use it for a lvl-up party or something.

got my dragon boots back from a mage, and got also got 90 defense. Again I was too lazy, so there's no pic.

On the first day, I got 300+ kills and only one boot drop. Today and yesterday I got 2 of them in about 50 kills. Sheer dumb luck is what it is.

That's basically the way I read it. My point is, I keep unids as placeholders in my bank incase I need them for the anti-scam method. With the update unid scamming will die out, I can clean all of my herbs and save 11 bank spaces.
